1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 17, 2018, 04:05:27 AM
The Bitconnect news inside Bitcoin NEWS is paid ads by jealous organization trying to discredit them. IGNORE.

Bitconnect exchange is down and the only way to get their latest information is to sign into Twitter and access @bitconnect for their messages.

It is not true that they are closing lending or that wallet refunds have been or will be made. IGNORE.

The Site will return once the DDoD attack is controlled. Do not panic or sell BCC wait until exchange normalizes.

Do all the people saying they scammed realise they just paid everyone 3 months worth of interest all in one go???  They were never in any financial difficulties and were never a ponzi. They had incredible BCC reserves which was all they needed to pay interest to investors.

It is clear that up to yesterday (if you look on their twitter), Bitconnect were not thinking of exiting but with everything else, they decided to. BitconnectX is trying to rake in half a billion in the ICO but this money
will never be needed for a simple exchange. Trust me when I say even if they have stopped the lending, bitconnect coin (BCC) is not finished with that kind of funding and the profits they have made in bitconnect.

There is no announcement on their official twitter (@bitconnect) about ceasing the lending but it is possible they decided to do that. Remember that the people who handle the website and post the news are not the owners of bitconnect as they said once before when they had the first problem many months back.

Lol you really are an idiot. They have liquidated all the loans and replaced them with BCC tokens at a really crappy rate. They haven't paid anything but now worthless tokens that cost them nothing and you can now sell for nothing.

U got the Avalon 741??

Yes.
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptouniverse - Official Canaan Distributor on: December 13, 2017, 06:09:25 PM
I received my order and have had them running a couple of days now so thought I'd do a very quick review.

Firstly I receive the order on Monday 11th, so that made it about 9 days from order to having them in my hand, which is obviously so much better than ordering things from Bitmain. Order process was super easy and I could pay with paypal so it really was a pleasant change from using Bitmain (who now insist on BCH only and make you wait months while they use the machines themselves).

Set up was relatively simple, but I did have to google something. These were the first Avalon products I've used though so that's not that surprising and setting up a second lot would be pretty simple now I know the process.

The machines themselves have been running non stop for a couple of days now and I can see on the pool that the hashrate is very stable and exactly in the range advertised so everything good on that front. One thing to note is they are quite loud (as expected) and in particular the power supplies seem to be louder than bitmain ones (based on my L3's). I would possibly look into some alternative power supplies to keep noise to a minimum but not a huge issue for now and I'll be putting them in the loft soon anyway.

Luckily I read this thread before they arrived and someone pointed out that you needed power cables for both the power supplies and importantly for the raspberry pi controller. This wasn't clear originally but they've now put a note about this on the product listing, so that's fixed.

It' too early to make any comments about long term reliability of the machines, but in terms of dealing with Crypto Universe I'm very happy with the order and so will definitely be using them again in future. I'm looking forward to the A8's so I'll hopefully get an order in the coming pre order Smiley

Received tracking number email this morning. Looking forward to getting them up and running and I'll try to post some sort of review once that's the case.
5  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptouniverse - Official Canaan Distributor on: December 05, 2017, 11:26:45 PM
Anyone get their tracking information yet? Never used this particular courier before I guess we will find out if they are any good.

I haven't got mine yet but I was going to give it another day or so before following up as they're probably quite busy.

And how much customs you pay if you send it to yourself in Austria?

edit: Oh If I understand, customs are 0% in EU?!

Moving things within the EU does not incur additional customs duties. Switzerland is not in the EU but is in the European Free Trade Association.
If you have any doubts you should look on your government's tax website.
When you buy something from another country any import costs are your responsibility and the person you are buying from is unlikely to know all the tax laws for every other country so you should research it yourself.

https://www.cryptouniverse.at/shipping/

I noticed these two different shipping options for the delivery via GLS.

Is it the GLS Standard or GLS Express by default?
I don't remember if there was a chance to choose a shipping option for the order.

I don't remember there being an option to choose during the order, it just added the shipping cost automatically for me.
8  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptouniverse - Official Canaan Distributor on: December 02, 2017, 10:53:54 PM
Did you sell out already, was hoping to get one shipped to the U.S.

They are still in stock on the website. Why wouldn't you check there if you want to buy? Smiley
9  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptouniverse - Official Canaan Distributor on: December 02, 2017, 10:19:36 PM
Since we got listed on the canaan website we got hundreds of mails from customers asking for devices.

We want to give everyone the chance to get a miner, not only the big mining companies who want to order a few hundred pieces.

Lets get the miners back to the hands of the community Wink

I really like and believe in this philosophy so I hope you keep it up Smiley
10  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptouniverse - Official Canaan Distributor on: December 02, 2017, 06:39:17 PM
Just wanted to mention that I placed an order earlier, and although it hasn't arrived yet (obviously) so can't comment on product quality yet, the order process itself was a very welcome change from the nightmare of ordering from Bitmain just after a release.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 02, 2017, 02:14:39 AM
The next day is 1.24% for lenders !

I was talking about Davorcoin which only just opened its exchange. Probably better than bitconnect at the moment and are more trustable than most others. Great lending rates. If you lend more than $5k you get an extra 0.2% so that would be more than 2% on average at the moment (nearly double your lending amount if you compound for a month), but they only just started.

Quote
"1.78% Dec 03, 2017 Pending

1.88%  Dec 02, 2017 Today

1.91% Dec 01, 2017 Applied

1.72% Nov 30, 2017 Applied

1.81% Nov 29, 2017 Applied

1.85% Nov 28, 2017 Applied"

No ponzi can last for years but only ponzi with "legitimate" earning can last long. ~2% is really unsustainable when you already know that 1% isnt on the really long run. I just hope you dont think it's gonna be online in 1 year.

12 months of full compound  with 1010$ from start.

@ 1% = 38k compounded, you generate ~380$ a day.
@ 1.5% = 229k$ compounded, you generate ~3400$ a day.
@ 2% = 1.38 millions compounded, you generate ~27600$ a day.

This is why BCC is running for 1 full year now and it will still run for some time. Anything that promise you more than ~1% will get away with your money pretty fast.

1% is already really high. Hope you didnt put too much of your savings into Davorcoin Wink

Bitconnect used to pay out 2%+ regularly btw. Isn't it funny how all these different groups seem to have invented an incredible trading bot independently of one another. Not suspicious at all and totally believable.

Sale will start on 2th of december at 12AM UTC+1. Miners and Sets are limited to 2 pieces per customer. We have way to many requests from people who want to order large quantities and we want to give everyone the chance to get a miner. If you want to order more than 2 pieces, please contact us and ask for a bulk offer.

Was that not 25 minutes ago? They're still not available on the website.

No.

Learn the calendar and clock.

It is not yet December 2 at 12AM UTC+1.

Eleven hours to go before the sales time.

I know the time just fine thanks lol. There is no universal convention on that term, hence why I asked.

http://www.npl.co.uk/reference/faqs/is-midnight-12-am-or-12-pm-faq-time

"Given this ambiguity, the terms 12 a.m. and 12 p.m. should be avoided."

Comparing bitconnect to bitpetit is proof you people know nothing. I love the grammar of the people calling this a scam maybe learn english first then do some research then you can talk shit?  bitpetit was not a coin bitconnect is. also u have no idea what dealing bcc has with coinbase that will secure its future. just stop  with the negative talk unless you have solid proof.

Yes, Bitconnect have a blockchain for their coins.

But what does that change?? When the owners cut and run, they will take the BTC that they already have!!! Don't you see? The value has already gone. The owners are sitting on a MOUNTAIN of bitcoins. Every day the mountain gets bigger but they have to throw a few coins to the peasants to keep the scam going.

When BTC drops in price, the payments will stop!!!

You will be left with BCC tokens. And they'll be worth nothing because no one wants to buy them!

GET YOUR MONEY OUT OF BCC NOW OR FOREVER REGRET IT.

You haven't read anything about bitconnect and you are coming to conclusions. Bitconnect does NOT collect Bitcoins. They take only BCC.

And what have they sold those BCC's to people for? (Hint: it's bitcoin)

They don;t sell BCCs too

Of course they do they literally said so at one of their events months ago. And also what do you think the ICO was? They sold BCC for BTC.
If you honestly think they don't hold any bitcoin you have no idea what you're talking about.

Actually, all of mentioned accounts are operated by one dude. Grin

Bitconnect is a ponzi scam and only IDIOTS can say the opposite.

I really think you should go and read my posts, I'm literally doing the opposite of what you seem to think.

EDIT: I just looked over some of longshort's posts and he also seems to be saying bitconnect is NOT legit. So what are you even talking about?

Have you actually read my posts? Not a single one of my posts is promoting bitconnect. If you look at my post history you will see me pointing out several times how it is not sustainable. You think bitconnect are paying me to point out the flaws in their system? lol
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: November 05, 2017, 12:15:40 PM
It's actually brilliantly structured if it is a scam
There is no IF. It is a scam!

There are many scammy ICOs but most of them are not decentralised
All of them are "Decentralized", non regulated and scammy. That's why, all ICO's are banned in Chine and in US. (EU countries to follow very soon)

I agree with you, except for saying it's decentralised. Bitconnect is not decentralised and neither are those other scams you mention.
It doesn't have to be a government for it to be centralised, it just means either 1 entity or a small number of entities control it.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: November 05, 2017, 12:23:48 AM
Control-finance, Bidpetite, Elektracoin, Hextraoin, Westerncoin, Ethconnect, Bitbase, will all go before that
Do you remember Satoshi"s quote: Decentralized = Better? I think the opposite, Decentralized = Holly grail for scammers. No regulations for scammy ICO's, that are grabbing  millions and delivering nothing, no regulations for obvious crypto ponzi scams, no regulations for non stop, scammy bitcoin forks that are designed only to enrich their creators. That bitconnect motherfuckers, will run away with hundreds of million dollars and it will be really hard to catch them. After the crash of bitconnect they will start a new ponzi crypto scam and I bet 1 BTC, that those people who will loose all their money with bitconect, will invest in their new ponzi scam without any doubts. That's how greediness and stupidity of people, will make scammers rich. Forex and binary options scams are in the past, now there is a new good opportunity for scammers called decentralized crypto world!

You do realise most of the things you quoted are not decentralised? Just because something has a cryptocurrency doesn't mean it's decentralised. Bitconnect is heavily centralised, control finance wasn't even a cryptocurrency, and the others are carbon copies of bitconnect.
A heavily pre-mined coin with 90% of the volume on their own exchange that they freeze if the price moves too far and tie up much of investors funds up in loans not in the investors control. That is not decentralised. It's actually brilliantly structured if it is a scam, though I suspect that was more out of luck than design.

There are many scammy ICOs but most of them are not decentralised as they start with a huge pre-mine and have few if any developers. You're absolutely right, it's a scammers paradise, but that's got little to do with decentralisation.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: November 01, 2017, 08:06:18 PM
I am sorry but everyone keeps saying is 1% a day i wish you would stop saying this! it is not 1% a day today was actually 0.03%  So why dont you stop with the LIES and get the facts straight before you FUD.

Everyone cries scam and uses the 1% daily as their reasoning lol it is not even a factor.

Dont listen to Gleb he is a pedophile/rapist.

Also the bcc debit card is taking registrations december 1st  https://bccpay.co

But yes keep screaming scam with no proof and no research.

From Bitconnect's own calculator at time of writing:

Last 7 day average: 0.99%
Last 30 day average: 0.84%
Last 6 month average: 0.95%

And given that you can get a bonus of between 0.1% and 0.25% depending on loan size I'd say 1% is a pretty fair and easy to use estimate, which is why people are using it. Would you care to suggest a better estimate people can use?
