We have a new telegram group since a few months ago and some bots started to join spamming .exe files and its obviously some malicious one. Never trust to download any software that doesn't give you enough confidence, even our DeepOnion Wallet should be always verified with DeepVault. If you are using an old version of Raspberry PI you might see that sometimes your OS freezes within a few hours/days or even when you are trying to sync. Seems like our little guy cannot deal with the new ONION Wallet due to the ram req. I recommend to change the amount of dedicated ram for your GPU (you can see it in Raspberry configuration/options) and try to lower your resolution the more you can (yes, welcome to 98'). It will look ugly but at least your ONION Wallet will keep running as a Node without freezing anymore.  ID to Verify this file with DeepVault App

The anniversary is coming, the project is approaching 3 years old, and our github / updates keep adding up, although as we know the situation in the world is not the best!

The main distribution is over. There is a lot of people who invested, people who are actually supporting the cryptocurrency and would be really bad if we increase the circulation supply in such way.
People trying to compare our project that was raised from zero and no crowdfunding to other ones with ICO/IEO/"insert any other way to take money from people", are just delusional.
This is a free market and people can buy or sell, if they feel like there is another investments that are better than ONION, they are free to do it... we had a lot of time discussing with people who wanted to trash all the hard work because ONION didn't move on the markets as they want, we will not engage into this.
To the people who wants to join, use and expand the project, they are welcome. In the mean time, there is developers that no matter the crisis, the tragic situation where we live right now... STILL working and making commits to our GitHub...

DeepSync is great, it will make easy to use our desktop wallets. I remember that a lot of people had issues to install and get sync  , problem solved. |
