It’s already testing 7.5k wall. 10k was an important support point and when it got destroyed it fall so quickly these numbers. We have another support point here. We will see if it will destroyed too. It’s better to stay cool and stop panicking.

touched the big support line @ 7900 USD and bounced right off. 8600 USD only 20 min. later. I would like to see it touching a few times to confirm the support for further grow

On the charts I would say Vertcoin VTC but it has a lot of competition. Very decent coin tough.

Until lightning network is active you should hold your BTC, use something like litecoin or vertcoin instead?

New wallet 1.3.4. is delayed, should be released yesterday so it is keeping the price down on top of the overall correction.
Would highly recommend, comes Q3 it will be one of the best privacy coins next to Monero.

First ask yourself if you are a risk taker, or like more stability. If you are a risk taker look into the smaller coins (I would say outside top 50), If you like more stability stick with the top 15 or something.
Your portfolio could look something like this:
50% holdings for stability:
-BTC
-ETH
-LTC
(or other coins/tokens/platforms like Monero/DASH/Stellar/NEO)
50% holdings with higher risk/reward:
-OmiseGo
-Lisk
-WAVES
-Power Ledger
-and my favorite Spectrecoin (XSPEC)

Remember Coinbase stated Bitcoin Cash would be added on 1st of January and they suddenly activated on a regular Tuesday?
I don't believe the statement and will wait a little longer with my XRP holding.

I am holding since 0.12 $ so can't complain but I think it is overpriced now. They actually don't have a working product, it is sitting in the top 5 based on pure speculation right now.
