1  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the world really needs virtual currencies on: October 05, 2017, 08:29:05 PM
The problem I have with virtual currency is that it flunctuates too much. There is no actual value behind it. That being said I also think, that it is much better than current money. It is not regulated so it is impervious to some unellected officials meddling with the supply. I think that as a community we should be extra vigilant about the possibility of someone hijacking the crypto market.

Honestly, just go outside and run a couple of kilometers. Being with myself and having to struggle for some time phisicaly will clear my mind and will give me a perspective on my problems.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stock market vs cryptocurrencies. What are the main differences? on: September 05, 2017, 12:04:08 AM
As you said, the market works 24/7, every single day. Bittrex has 0,25% fees on both asks and bids, but its a nice trusted site with many coins offered in their exchange. Give it a try!

Thanks. Will check it out Smiley The transaction fee seems low, I have grown accustomed to something around 0,6% so it would be a nice change Smiley

Never tried to trade with stock market but i think the different of trading with cryptocurrency is the movement of the price was fast than in stock market this is just base what i saw or experience that is why they are more people are trading with cryptocurrency because of the fast movement of the price..
But the problem right now i heard that ICo and altcoin are ban in china that causes the price of bitcoin down..

You can try to trade with CEX,io or go to https://coinmarketcap.com/ and choose what altcoin you want to trade and click market you can see almost list of exchange site. .

Thanks for the input Smiley Yeah it is true that stocks' price doesn't move as fast as cryptos. However, I used to trade small and middle sized companies' stocks, so it was very volotile at times. Also, I think that apart from bitcoin it is hard to actually predict the movement of the price trends of the coins. I mean it's not like we get actual information on the company financial state Smiley

I read an article some days ago that Russia was considering accepting cryptocurriences on thier market. Do you think that it was something that made the growth to almost 5000$ possible?

Also, I have never heard about ICOs. They seem like a great idea Smiley
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Stock market vs cryptocurrencies. What are the main differences? on: September 04, 2017, 11:13:27 PM
Hey everyone. I am quite new to the crypto market and I was wondering if I could get some guidelines about trading. I have been trading for quite a long time on the stock market and had moderate success. What are the main differences between trading crypocurrencies and stocks. From what I understand there is no downtaime in which the market is operating and also there is no supervising entity, that could interfere in the process of trading. Are there any other factors to be taken into consideration? Also, could anyone recommend a trading service with low transaction fees?
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world without leaders? on: September 04, 2017, 10:48:50 PM
That's a great question. First of all, I think that a situation like that would result in certain decentralization of power and influence at first. Smaller communities would appear and like it or not new unformal leaders would emerge. I can see how it could be beneficial to the overall freedom. However the vaccum left could also give room to the rise of a complete asshole that would exploit everone that he can. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of having more personal freedom and being independent but being from eastern Europe I sort of realize how bad things can get when authoritarian rulers get into power.
7  Other / Off-topic / Mass Effect trilogy. What would be the best ending? Post ideas. on: September 04, 2017, 09:31:25 PM
I have a question for the fans of the Mass Effect series. As we all know the ending to the trilogy was somewhat disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I know that some peaople liked the ending and think that it was good. However, I think we can mostly agree that the delivery of the final scenes was a little rushed. I personaly liked the indoctirnation theory and I think that there were many clues throghout the game that supported the theory. Do you think that it was at some point considered or was it all just a coinsidence?

In short. If you could create your version of the ending to one of the greatest video games series what would it be? Smiley
