Man, I got really pissed at btc-e for banning me from the trollbox a few days ago so I withdrew all my money from there..

So yeah, a big thank you to the btc-e admin team.

By the way, is there any link between btc-e and BTCex? https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BTCex

Karpeles seemed to have trouble with them back in 2011 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6931.0

Well i got burned a bit. Wish they had banned me from that chat  Grin
Ps. You still owe me a copy of your book  Wink

obligatory "ouch"

Cool thread! No where near a 60ghs miner, but I just sent an old block erupter to someone trying to get into mining on reddit! Good to see people spreading the experience!

That's my suspection:

The first difficulty in june was about 24% - i think this was the time Bitmaintech has set all available S3 online.
Now the next difficulty was only 3% and they say - hey lets make us the money and say ohhhh sorry we have some problems to deliver our S3 right now.
All S3 are mining for the factory and make money for them - okay they give the customers a little bit discount with an voucher...
And with the next (possible) higher difficulty they deliver - but all money from the 3% diff is gone to Bitmaintech...

Just my two cents...

I am disappointed that they haven't shipped today.
Have you ever considered how long it takes to ship out thousands of miners?

Yes, probably not too long. Suppose you have 10 people dealing with shipping and you want to ship 1000 miners a day, working 8 hours a day.

That means every person needs to package and ship one miner every five minutes. That doesn't sound very hard.

8 hours with no breaks!? sheesh I wouldnt want to work for you, plus thats only 960 units bruh.

That's why I said approximately. Smiley

But you know what, it is China. I don't think they do breaks. Smiley

touché

I hope they aren't taking breaks! I want my miners already!!

But hey its almost 9:00am at that means they should be back at work and shipping again soon!  Grin

Hello. I was looking to place an order for some chips; however, I was not sure if I include the shipping cost now. It looks like I wait to send the shipping fee, just wanted to make sure.

Figured I had been lurking long enough, time to register. Just posting to get out of the newbie status...

Here's a question though, anyone figure out how to build out a rig from an asic chip yet?
