1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Looq ico is scam thread on: October 31, 2017, 02:08:09 AM
You can add all available info to http://ico.scam.network which tries to aggregate all details about scam ICOs in order to 1.avoid 2.try to report it to police.

Domains details:
https://myip.ms/info/whois/198.54.117.212/k/2533902434/website/looq.io
https://myip.ms/info/whois/198.54.117.212/k/620102983/website/karbon.io

Both use same services and IP, which are:
IP:    198.54.117.212
Hosting service and registrar: namecheap.com (11400 W. Olympic Blvd. Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA, 90064, US) which might be able to forward more details to the law enforcement authorities. Scammer might have used fake ID but maybe he just once logged there without VPN. Silkroad founder got busted this way, so probably some low class scammer forgot his security once too. There are many ways to get to identify such a person.

So if you were scammed, choose to make the world a better place and

report it:
https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx - file a complaint
https://www.justice.gov/criminal-ccips/reporting-computer-internet-related-or-intellectual-property-crime - report a fraud

get some more info:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_service_provider#Law_enforcement_and_intelligence_assistance
https://www.usa.gov/online-safety

other:
https://www.fbi.gov/investigate/cyber - bunch of info
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_police#United_States - bunch of info

Not sure:

Please add EOS to http://ico.scam.network if you please.

I hope I will not get banned for adding this reply to all "ICO scam" related topics here, but I guess there is no other way to make this work.

Try this out:
ico.scam.network

It is an open to edit google spreadsheet with a list of scam alerts and rankings from different sources.

If it works out, it might be a good way to keep crypto community healthier.

I am in blockchain business for few months now and reading all the info about ICO scams and risks seems impossible for a normal person.
So the idea is to gather it all in one known to all place, open to edit, easy to use, decentralized Wink and fool proof (we will see). Try it out:  ico.scam.network

Maybe it catches, maybe it won't, hopefully saves throwing someone's money upfront. (sry for bad english)

I hope this helps: ico.scam.network

I am interested in setting up a review board for ICOs.  It will start small, but the intent is to establish some standard procedure rules and parameters of evaluation for ICOs.  Applicants would pay a fee in X-coin and board members would be rewarded a small some per share.  PM if any interest.

http://ico.scam.network/

Here you go, a draft, open to edit for a while, since the community will probably want to rearrange everything and I don't want to deal with invitations at this point. I have made a copy and please make your own after done editing in case we have scam cleaning guest.

1. Please don't remove someone's data, rather use notes and comments. Adding data and rearranging is fine.
2. When adding data, choose and reserve a color to show how much work you've done. Mine is black :1
3. After few days I will close editing and turn open-commenting only.
4. Future editors will have to have community trust.
5. Once the spreadsheet fills with basic data, I will prepare it for syncing with WP database so that there will be a nice website with custom posts, advanced filters, search and everything.

This is non-profit, community-driven project for now. If it evolves well, strong and organised, then.. we will see. Some have more money, some have more time, some have skills...

I imagine few scenarios for future but I definitely want to keep all gathered info open to public and searchable. Lets do this one first as it is most needed to have an open database helping community and market stay healthy.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / So China government is taking over and focusing over half of world's mines? :-o on: September 24, 2017, 05:37:40 AM
So Chinese government is in fact taking over and nationalising all their crypto markets, biggest world's MINES, networks and specialists - giving them an unprecedented power, all focused, all in the hands of one powerful group, who can synchronise other powerful actions and have access to gigantic resources.

What are possible scenarios?

Will they be able to control the blockchain and whole cryptomarket now if they control more than 51% of the mines?
Could that all be a part of a plan to dominate the network as a part of economy war?

Is there a way to defend the network from such a powerful player?

My imagination displays me quite horrific scenarios, where markets are massively manipulated, sucked dry and left dumped and crippled.
Or worse. I don't think the battle will be straightforward, but rather shadowy and aimed on gathering as much power as possible.

Anyway, we are talking China gov here. Probably most powerful group of people in the world, who I don't believe don't have a bigger and sophisticated plan. It kinda goes along with their politics of world's economic dominance and buying out western world piece by piece.

Scary.

Które tokeny są chińskie a które nie.?

Np. HSR: 1 września rynek wart 1.2 mld $, a 3 dni później (04/09) już tylko 315 mln $

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hshare/
Główna giełda: https://www.binance.com/trade.html?symbol=HSR_BTC

Wartość 1 HSR w preICO wynosiła 5.36$ (0.00126 BTC) więc to będzie prawdopodobnie twarde dno.

Ciekawostka:
Szukałem gdzie oni w takim razie lokują i jedyny skok wartości rynku zauważyłem na USDT: https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tether/

Do tego z dużych:
ACT https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/achain/#charts i chyba
NTO https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/fujinto/#charts

powodzenia
