okay I just tried setting up a masternode... I'm on the step
"We need to let it fully sync, give it a couple of minutes and enter: phore-cli getinfo"
... but when I do that I continually get "error: couldn't connect to server"... ?
So I retried typing "phored daemon " ... it stalled out giving no response ... so I waited a while assuming its loading blocks... now I've typed "phore-cli getinfo " multiple times and waited... I get no response back... just a blank screen...? I had a similar issue getting the server started. I had to use ./phored to start the server instead of phored -daemon. Try that and see if it says server started after. Thanks! I was stuck at the same spot. Appreciate your help. |

Anyone else open their NEON Wallet this morning and it's not showing your balance of NEO or GAS? No transaction history either. More than a little freaked out right now!

A few days ago, I converted all of my NEO to BTC. I did this because I've read all of the chatter about the Bitcoin Gold fork and thought I could make a little profit before the fork and buy back even more NEO with my profits.
I'm up a little now and could probably get about 100 NEO more than what I started with.
Should I wait to see if bitcoin passes $6000 (or even higher), or should I make my move back to NEO now? Is there a particular date that I need to watch for on the NEO side? I know the fork is projected to be October 25th.

What's the easiest (and least expensive) way to take the GAS I've accumulated in Neon wallet and convert it to NEO? I've got accounts with Poloniex and Bittrex. Thanks.
Poloniex & Bittrex do not trade in GAS, the only exchange I know of (I think there may be other Chinese ones) that deals in GAS is Binance. https://www.binance.com/trade.html?symbol=GAS_BTCPoloniex does trade GAS but not NEO, Bittrex NEO but not GAS. Would it make the most sense to go through Binance then? |

I'm planning to purchase more BTC and use part of that to purchase more NEO. Should I wait to see if BTC gets below $4,000 again, hoping NEO doesn't climb in the next few days? Or should I go ahead and get it now and purchase the NEO before it goes up? Or should I look at purchasing GAS instead of NEO?
It is hard to predict prices, but every couple months there is a pull back and NEO would probably go down more than BTC in that case. I would get NEO instead of GAS as NEO generates GAS. Would you rather own the chicken or the egg? Thanks for the advice! |

It's not fixed. I guess it takes a lot longer now than it will take in the future when there is more traffic. You can see here https://neotracker.io/That it sometimes takes half an hour or more between blocks. Thanks for the information! |

Can someone answer this for me? I'm looking at my Neon Wallet (just over 1000 NEO) and normally the GAS I can claim updates about every 20 seconds. But for some reason, it hasn't updated in about 10 minutes. Is there something wrong?
Do you have an old version from the Full Wallet? Because with the old one I had similar problems, it stops syncing many times and I had to restart it. But since an update about 2-3 weeks ago itīs working very good for me. EDIT: Sorry havenīt seen you are using Neon Wallet Correct, I'm using NEON Wallet and it says "Claim 0.09556288 GAS". Still no change... UPDATE: It just changed to 0.0958096. I wonder why the long pause? Seems to be frozen again at 0.09597408 for the past 7-8 minutes. Anyone know what's going on? it updates when a new block is added. What do you expect it to do? Well shouldn't a new block be generated every 20-25 seconds? |

I originally purchased NEO through Bittrex and have since moved it to the NEON Wallet in order to collect GAS. Now that I have some GAS accumulated, how can I use it to purchase more NEO?
Can I convert it just by sending it straight to my Public NEO address in the Neon Wallet? Or is there another procedure?
