1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PROPY - Global Property Store with Decentralized Title Registry on: September 27, 2017, 05:28:48 PM
So much fund here, Lol. It's the same with every project. Fuds kicks in when there's a slight dip in price. So I'm not very surprised to see the same happening here. Propy isn't another quick flip. This is a long term hodl for me.

Except I said this when they were announcing the ICO without a White Paper.. then they put out an 8 page useless piece of shit... nothing has changed.. you can hold as long as you want... this project nor it's "paid to look good during the ICO only" team members never had an intention of doing anything with this project.  The main team members have left the U.S. and will not be returning.  You can't even wipe your ass with those tokens.

We should be patient and see what it comes next for their project, the team is making their move to implement what they planned.

You could read it here that someone did buy a property using PRO tokens.

Yep, in the Ukraine... no transaction in the U.S., owners not U.S. citizens... Delaware OFFSHORE structure!  Good luck!

Let me know when they accomplish this in the U.S.

No point though anymore.  ICO is over and your money is in their pockets.  Check back when the price drops to 25% of initial value.

All "Hero" Member accounts with "Positive" feedback.. hahahaha!  Are you people this stupid you can't see these are PAID ACCOUNTS... they are advertisements... they get paid in Bitcoin for a reason.

Sure your "buying more Tokens on the dip"... haha... show us your Wallets with all these ADDED TOKENS... and please don't be stupid enough to grab a random address from some other sucker... you can easily prove it is your address.

"Waiting for the main launch" - You are a "HERO" member and you are that stupid??? (Bitcoin!!!)

I can even point to the names of the guys who offer to run these scams ... "Pay me X bitcoin, we have 300 fake accounts and we will guarantee your ICO looks good"

You guys know you can check these "HERO" member posts right??? Either not available or ALL defending the coins they are pushing... (except when they are asking for the Bounty programs).... ALL BOUNTY WHORES.

Discount on platform tokens isn't that bad, and should appreciate in value as volume of transactions goes up. Just look at BNB tokens, went up 3000% as their platform gets launched.

Discount is absolutely useless.

So? You can have tens of thousands of company on a PO box in Delaware, doesn't make it a scam. Natalia Karayaneva the founder seems like a cute little nerdy Russian girl, but I think she should be able to execute with 5 developers on this team, only other competitor I see that give it a run for its money is probably Atlant. I don't think this is a scam just yet. But much is to be desired in terms of communication.

True, and if you are listing on the NYSE it could be a very good thing.  But go to ANY offshore incorporation site and LEARN what I KNOW.  They are a "California" based company.  Don't feel bad, most people don't know about these things.

BTW... How is the price now compared to what you paid???
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PROPY - Global Property Store with Decentralized Title Registry on: September 26, 2017, 07:52:47 PM
PROPY is a very promising project. The current price is just a game of traders who want to buy cheap tokens before the main launch of the project.

Sure, if you have no fucking clue what you are doing... if you have experience like I do you see right through this bullshit.

THIS TOKEN WILL CRASH RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE - 50% LOSS, GUARANTEED!!! PUT THAT ON THE BLOCKCHAIN.

1. What rights do the token give you?  A discount on their platform.  How many people who got sucked into this will be selling their property here - NO ONE???

2. What is the "use of funds" - doesn't take more than $500K to build a top end platform - this one can be done for $200K.  What are they doing with the rest of the moneyż "Marketing" is a nice word for "pocketing" the money.

3. Do you know what a "company" search is?  They are a Delaware corp. .. 2 foreign girls on the company... a Delaware offshore, throw away corp.Huh?? Learn about how that works.

4. What plans do they have - NONE.  No entry strategy.  They are going to be GLOBAL... ok... I am going to open a GLOBAL PANCAKE HOUSE and everyone in the world is going to come eat there... it's going to be huge.

These are just some of the MANY, MANY pitfalls of this project.  But then again, you are a paid advertiser just like the ENTIRE team they PAID just to make the project look good on the surface.  None of these people will actually participate or add value to the "project".

THIS TOKEN WILL CRASH RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE - 50% LOSS, GUARANTEED!!! PUT THAT ON THE BLOCKCHAIN.

Anyone, let me know if you want real advice.  There are some good projects out there but they will hold water under tough scrutiny.  It is easy to see this one doesn't.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Kexcoin - Introducing student accommodation to the blockchain on: September 24, 2017, 09:53:52 PM
Why doesn't the website show how much people already invested?
What does "13% To Milestone" mean? Which milestone?

The Milestone represents our minimum target.
You can see how much we have raised using a block explorer such as http://stage.cryptofresh.com/a/KEXCOIN
It's all viewable on Bitshares

There is another project that is like yours but they make use of blockchain technology, couldn't I already invest in Kexgill without this project?  You say how many times Kexgill is so great a company, why aren't the founders using their own money from their established business? You want to take OUR money to build more property for yourselves and on top take a big commission???

Also, how come the links never work?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Payments and How they Know Who's is Who? on: September 10, 2017, 12:41:49 PM
I will try again looking at it from their perspective because I am not sure I explained very well.  What I am confused about is I am sending from a Bitcoin account that is not tied at all to the Waves account.

If I am running an ICO and 3 people tell me they will send 5 BTC and then give me a Waves address to send their tokens.

What happens if I only receive 2 payments of 5 BTC, how do I know "who" made the payment? (or who is the one who "did not" make the payment?)

It's exciting  Grin but very confusing  Huh

Thanks in advance for any help.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Payments and How they Know Who's is Who? on: September 10, 2017, 12:35:32 PM
Hi Qiuyue201,

Thanks.  What I don't understand though is they take BTC/WAVES/ETH and they only require I enter a Waves wallet.  If I send from my BTC, how will they know it was "me".  I don't know if I am explaining so I will give example.

Ex. -

3 people sign up and say they will send 1 BTC and then give their email and a Waves address (to receive their token/dividend).
Then only 2 people send 1 BTC.  How do they know "which" 2 to return the coins to?
(or what if I am the one who did not send the BTC and I claim that I was the one who sent it from "x" address?)

I want to invest in one but it is a little nerve racking for me to send BTC when I can't understand how I can confirm it was my payment.

Thanks again for the help.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO Payments and How they Know Who's is Who? on: September 10, 2017, 11:42:59 AM
Hi,

I have been looking at a few ICO's and I don't understand how the deposits work (or more specifically, how do they account/audit my payment).

They require I put in my Email/a Waves address/Amount/Type of Crypto.  But they do not require I put the "address" I will send my payment from.

What stops me from telling them I will send 1 BTC, put in a Waves address and then just checking their wallet and saying, "yeah, that deposit there is mine, now send those coins to my Waves wallet"?

Thanks.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO deposits/audit and how it works? on: September 10, 2017, 04:25:19 AM
Hi,

I have been looking at a few ICO's and I don't understand how the deposits work (or more specifically, how do they account/audit my payment).

For example, the one I looked at is a Waves token.  They require I put in my Email/Waves address/Amount/Type of Crypto.  But they do not require I put the "address" I will send my payment from.

If I send 1 BTC from my BTC address, how do they know it was "me" who made the deposit in order to send the coin to "my" Waves wallet?

Thanks.

I asked what are you doing DIFFERENTLY?  You responded by telling me you provide student housing... which is EXACTLY what every one of those companies I listed do (as well as 100 more).  So you are providing the EXACT SAME service as every other student housing company... ok... got it.

Have you registered your securities sale with the FCA?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't ICO's use Coinbase or similar services for payments? on: September 09, 2017, 08:10:46 PM
Hello SurfnTurf! The issue is that Coinbase is designed for retail investors, convenience and ease of use. Coinbase holds the private keys of the tokens on their site rather than the investor. As Coinbase is currently set up investors may not receive ERC-20 tokens that are issued in ICOs.

In fact many ICOs will have a strong disclaimer not to send in funds for an ICO from Coinbase otherwise there is risk of capital loss. As a best practice professional investors should control the private keys of their ETH and BTC holdings. Ownership of the private keys gives an investor maximum flexibility in the event of blockchain forks or other events which may affect the value of the crypto currency.

For Ethereum, I can recommend the www.myetherwallet.com wallet if an investor wishes to transact in ICOs. Promoters of ICOs are well aware of Coinbase's limitations and for this reason will shy away from using Coinbase in their ICOs either for distribution or receipt of funds.

That helps.  I kept seeing that disclaimer you mention which is why I was wondering in the first place.  Thanks.

Nice publication here, just wanted to ask one question. I think i also encounter a project similar as you. Do you know Bit Job as well?, How is it different from the one that you are lauching here right now? thank you in advance and good luck.

@Kexcoin... how come you don't just answer the question.  You come off snide and petty.  I will help you out though and show you how to answer a question.

"Hi Katashi , thanks for the enquiry.  Bit Job is for student jobs.  Kexcoin is a student housing project.  Cheers!"

I think a better question is:  What is Kexcoin doing differently than the 1.000 other companies that offer student housing investment?

I can't see any difference between you and Emerging Property/Select Property/Knight Frank/Knight Knox/or the other 100 companies in the UK that offer student housing investment EXCEPT with THEM - 1. Investors have FCA security 2. Investors actually own the unit

P.S. - You described your coin as a "commodity" earlier.  I hope you have registered with the FCA.  Have you?  What you are selling is a security and you must register with the FCA.  I think you are in over your head.  I'm not trying to jump all over you and I know first hand it can be very difficult to please people with new projects but this would be a better project for Housecrowd or Housers (traditional crowdfunding) as the people would feel more secure you are not just trying some unregulated side step to take money.  If you are just trying to do a project and don't really have the means.  God bless you!  But then again you should have the means if your company/owners have been in business for 40 years and are successful.  All very confusing  Huh Roll Eyes
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't ICO's use Coinbase or similar services for payments? on: September 09, 2017, 03:20:56 AM
Thanks.  Got it  Grin  So it's just about regulations?  Are the wallets/addresses still shown the same as if I made a direct transfer?  For example, if you and I made a transfer I would see your address... if you sent to/from Coinbase do I still see your address?  I have never made a transaction yet so I don't really understand this stuff yet.

Coinbase is just what I have but what about others like Coinpayments or are they all the same?

Thanks again for the help  Smiley
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why don't ICO's use Coinbase or similar services for payments? on: September 08, 2017, 11:50:23 PM
Can one of you tech savvy guys tell me why ICO's don't use services like Coinbase to accept funds for their ICO's?

I see in my account where I could add a shopping cart to my website to take payments in many different coins (the same way I would add a Paypal cart) and that takes about 5 minutes.  Why don't these guys just use one of these services and they could accept just about any coin?

Does it have to do with the audit process? (i.e. wallet numbers are not the same with a service?)

I am new at this so please go easy on me  Wink
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Kexcoin - Introducing student accommodation to the blockchain on: September 08, 2017, 12:32:47 PM
It catches me that Kexgill Ltd. and Kexcoin Ltd. are two completely separate entities.  Do you admit there is no legal repercussion for Kexgill Ltd. if your Kexcoin project fails to do what you say you will do?  What ties you into Kexgill?  In other words, you are a U.K. Limited company which only costs a few pound and an hour to incorporate.  If I send you money and you run away, is there any legal regulation under U.K. guidelines for your ICO?

Your project is not utilising blockchain technology in any form so I believe the "why ICO" is a valid point.  I'm still on the fence here so I hope it works out.   Huh  But the way these ICO's are going I think it will still work out for you.  Good luck  Undecided

Agreed. If he had done his research he would know all of this, it's widely spoken about in numerous places.

Except it's true what he said about the registration.  That was not there because I checked your site when he made the original post. Why did you act like he was wrong?  Why can't you answer any of the questions instead of always saying the information is somewhere else?  The point of a forum is to interact, not to deter, isn't it?  Your project is one of the first I am visiting so we are all not experts.  A straight forward answer would make me much more comfortable with your project than "ignoring" people.  IMHO.
