1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]ICO] VONE New Lending Platform With Cold Storage Device Decentralized on: December 06, 2017, 09:39:28 PM
Nice project! Welcome to our website. We are the most informative ICO list, it helps you with funding. Good luck, guys  Wink

How can you call it a nice project? Please be so kind to share your thoughts behind the assertion. Please consider:

  • A complete new project, bringing nothing new to the cryptocurrency arena
  • Who is Lucas Santini? Is he a different person from a Lucas Santinio [sic] whom the white paper says is behind the project? Have you googled for Lucas Santini/Santinio?
  • Who are the persons, developers and financial specialists behind this project, alongside Santini/o
  • Have you noticed the great number of grammatical errors in the white paper? Is that professional?
  • The website and the whitepaper are mute regarding the incorporating details of the company behind VONE
  • They oversold four million coins during their Pre-Ico (is this possible, normal/expected to happen with a serious project?), so Santini/o explains the course of action: "So We Will Be Adding Another 4 Million Coins to the Supply to the total supply." Hahahahaha, really, as easy as that?
  • Have you notice how much questions are posted in this thread simply because there is a shameful lack of information on the website?
  • Have you noticed that VONE is listed as a scam in http://www.badbitcoin.org/thebadlist/index.htm ?

Is it true that the members of this team (I mean ICO team) have over 20 years of experience in online businesses ?

Which team? where did you get details of the team and their background? Certainly not on VONE's site or white paper...

V-one had 2 million coins, but site shows they sold more than that... How is that possible?

Thin air and "smart" contracts can be very valuable for some "crypto-projects"

You have written that the Lending Plan is very simple and at the same time very lucrative, better than any modern lending system today. So why is it better and better than any lending systems. I want to be specific.

Well, just take a look at his shamepaper whitepaper to notice a deliberate lack of specificity.

Cappasity's ARToken chose an EOS platform to "ensure a robust transaction flow,... capable of withstanding up to millions transaction per second."

For me personally, I’ve chosen not to spend my time trying to calculate the perfect time/price of entry. Instead, I’m much more interested in determining whether I want to participate at all (FWIW, I do) by evaluating the project on the basis of the value it’s attempting to bring to the market and the likelihood of that happening successfully. Based on the outcome of that analysis, I set an allocation to EOS and dollar cost average my way there. I figure that if the project is successful, it won’t matter nearly as much (note: I’m not saying “doesn’t matter at all”) whether I’m in at $0.80 or $1.00 or $1.50.

If you believe that EOS will be a disrupting infrastructure with good potential, then you can invest in it freely. As you say, it doesn't matter if you bought at USD 1.50 and it falls to 0.50. What you are waiting is a 20x-30x gain, so a future price of USD 30 will give you 20 times your investing. It doesn't matter that others that bought at USD 0.50 will have a 6,000 % return on investing. It doesn't matter either if the whole project collapses. You "just" invested USD 1.50 (times the amount you felt comfortable to risk).

It's all reduced to a bet, and you should bet only what equates to the pain of pulling a hair or two out of your head, not to the pain of being hung from your head of hair.
