Literally depends on the demand for the ICO. If the ICO sold out insanely fast then more than likely it will be worth more on the market when free'd up, but if there was hardly any demand then you will face the opposite.

First Germany, now Thailand brilliant. This of course isn't as good as Germany recognizing Bitcoin as legal tender, but it definitely is a start.

I already have bought a few pieces under the $500 threshold and personally will buy tons of it ever dips below $250. I don't see that happening, but as I stayed true to my word about acquiring Ethereum under $500, I will do the same if it breaches $250.

If that is the case, then I am royally screwed no lies. I sincerely hope it isn't the case as I wanted to travel the world given Bitcoin makes a new ATH this year but alas if that is the case, then I will re-work my strategy.

I was a little off last week , coming back ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) We are close to the first anniversary of DeepOnion, It seems like decades have passed for me ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) The weeks are flying like crazy.... I cant believe how fast the time is going.... 1 year sounds amazing..but also crazy! Its only 1 year and so much has happened in DeepOnion.... I wish I had discovered DeepOnion from the start. I envy those early adopters ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) On the bright side, there are still those who don't know about DeepOnion yet and I'm sure when they do, they'll envy you ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) This project is only one year old, you are an early adopter! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I'm a 7-months late early adopter... missed a lot of free ONION and missed the founder's badge. Maybe in the future we can gain the Founder badge... we deserve it more than those who left... we are still hodling after the airdrop and we are still contributing to the project. The 20 airdrops rule isn't good enough to determine who is worthy. Maybe Deeps will change his mind and pick some members. It probably will change, as did the airdrop rules throughout the campaign. If I read correctly they said they would give access to those who have contributed a significant amount to the project, and if you are a VIP or are active on Votecentral then you likely will make it one day. Stay strong ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Bought into an ICO without doing any diligence, needless to say that coin or token barely came to market and had no volume. Can't even get rid of it now, all I got is a useless token that trades for a couple hundred bucks a day.

It was never really "legit" and I would claim the market now is even worse for the average investor than before. Unless you got some hookups or are able to get on a white list will a level playing field, fugget about it.

I'm from the North as well and I believe our country has one of the best stances on crypto. Unlucky for our neighbours to the South who have to pay tax on every trade whether or not they gained or lost. Seems like a harsh reality ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) .

If crypto is going to get more money into it eventually (which is the consensus) and these currencies exist in the near future (aren't labelled securities by SEC) then I think we can safely assume most of them (not all) will make ATHs sometime when more money comes in. In other words this was a standard dip that had to come, and another bull run should be coming in theory soon.

Will be interesting to see what the price is when trading goes live on Coinbase in a few months.
Few months? No big deal, I have patiently bagholding since last year now ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) , will be nice when I can unleash some ETC on the market.

Sure ADA has potential but Ethereum is already established and has one functional DAPP on it. ADA is smoke and mirrors right now and has provided nothing other than hype. Hilarious how everybody loves to hop on the hype train, but nobody wants the real stuff train.

Don't foresee Ethereum overtaking Bitcoin at least not this year. Also if that were to happen it would be heavily contingent on whether or not Casper is a success and because we don't know that yet, Ethereum can't takeover. If Casper is wildly successful, then perhaps I would fear for Bitcoin's #1 spot.

Awesome indeed, I have but only one question right now about this product. How does it differ from Bancor's app? I know you can create a token on the Bancor network in a few easy steps too, would love to know how Etherparty differentiates.

Crypto currency has a very vague future.
They can become the only payment tool in the world or they can disappear.
I am inclined to the first option, but what will actually happen is unknown
You think the future is vague? I disagree 100% because to me it is black and white as your next statement says. It either gets adopted and is a clear winner or does not get adopted and is forgotten over the next 10 years. If Bitcoin survives I would imagine the price would be above 500k at least at its height, but if Bitcoin dies then perhaps it will trade at a sentimental value of $1 or even 1 cent.

Airdrop option is essentially futile and worthless unless you are living in an area in which $5-100 dollars can make the world of a difference. Bounties on the other hand can provide more funds if you liquidate right away but they are still not a great amount of cash and again is only worth it if you live in an area which $100-$500 dollars can help you out per month. I wouldn't expect any more than that on either of those, and that might be a high range estimate but everything hinges on your rank here so take what I said with a grain of salt.

The fact that you blindly trusted people here on this forum was a YUGE mistake. Why would you ever trust strangers on the internet? They will most likely never have your best interests at heart. Now that is aside, focus on what you can control now and that is either holding your coins or selling them. Do some research and see if they have a chance of making a comeback and assess it. It sucks you entered in at the peak time in the market though, because if you had grabbed PRL in early December you would have made a killing (had you sold of course).

Luckily for me I didn't buy that high, I bought in the 1k range. Of course somebody bought it when it was 20k, but alas that is probably a small amount of people as there wasn't much volume at the top. Heard about crypto first time last year and ever since learning more about Bitcoin I am hooked and want to pursue this as long as possible.

There are tons of new popular exchanges popping up everyday so the competition will be stiff for HADAX. That being said, since Huobi is already established I would say they have a high probability of succeeding, especially when you take into consideration who is backing them. The day a DEX cracks the top 25 though, that will be an awesome day indeed for crypto.

I get enough pocket cash for here and there things, nothing to change my life. Although I wouldn't identify as a bounty hunter, I believe myself to be a trader first. Bounties are a side thing that again provide some extra pocket cash.

You have to be selective when choosing which ICO to help out, and I do a multitude of things prior to helping one out. First I see if they had a successful pre-sale because if they did that shows interest in the project. Next, you have to look into the team to see if they are fake or not. Third see if the project is viable and will be worthwhile a year or two from now. Lastly, I would look into how much they are looking to raise with all investment rounds. The last one isn't as important but the first three are extremely important imo.
