1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: September 19, 2017, 10:27:34 PM
So let me get this straight for the couple of newcomers who still think WCX is "scam":

- The WCX exchange is live and working (PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW IN LOGICAL RATIONAL THOUGHT YOU DEFINE SCAM WHEN THERE IS A BLOODY PRODUCT RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES)

- Team identities have not yet been revealed for fund security reason - this has been explained A BILLION TIMES very LONG AGO. also don't you think if it WAS a scam theyd have create few fake linkedin profile, put "great" advisors on team and published some photos, like the scam ICOs, and avoided all these dumb Questions about the team?Huh use your brain for 2.5 seconds

- They offered a buying back and refund program if you DONT LIKE THE PROJECT and you BOUGHT presale you can just get your money back

- They offered STRAIGHT transparent TRAFFIC NUMBERS and audit numbers on email list

- THERE IS TO THIS MOMENT EXACTLY 0.00% OF PROOF backing any "scam" accusation apart the 2 or 3 people who create shill accounts in this thread and just post "scam" for NO REASON, without PROOF. AT LEAST give EQUIVALENT proof as what I just gave above to back your claim

- Anyone saying WCX is a "scam" at this point has either: 1) not read the thread 2) is a shill account 3) is competition 4) is troll

1) They are using a generic open source exchange. Nothing is different about this 'beta'.

2) They cannot throw out claims to be from Apple & Wall St. if they are hiding their identities. Fake Linkedin profiles are easy to spot.

3) Anybody can just say that?

4) Straight? More like altered. There is no way 500,000 people signed up for this and verified their e-mail. These numbers are clearly a gimmick to provide the illusion of traffic.

5) You are one of the 'shill' accounts that are probably paid to counter all the bad-mouthing on here.

6) I have read this thread and done my research: the escrow incident, claiming to be from Apple etc, Whale Club relativity without confirmation, lowering pre ico sale minimum purchase, open-source easy to create beta, obviously fake sign-up numbers, claiming that they are not affected by the China ICO laws when they clearly are, are all reasons not to get involved with this project until proof of identity of company is confirmed.

My $.02

Quoted @Vag since he keeps editing his responses...

Okay who are these Wall Street & Apple employees that have been touted for some time? You said you're going to name the employees.

Couple groups had interest in 1 million+. But WCX dragged their feet didn't name a team. So they didn't invest..

So looks like a scam to me.. Website doesn't work now, DOMAIN WHOIS private.. But do your own due diligence

Umm no it's not a scam. This has been proven so many times I can't believe some people are still dropping in here and saying it is. The wild nature of public forums I guess...

Website is working fine...

Okay well who are these people from Wall Street & Apple?

Okay got protocol error earlier. Perhaps that's been fixed..

Exactly. They are lying. If they decided to keep their identities a secret, they wouldn't be claiming they are from Apple etc. I'm in the beta and they are using an open source platform that is easily thrown together.

Guys, the skepticism and instability are good reasons to stay away from this project. The fact that they lowered the minimum price to participate in the 'pre-ico' in the midst of all this instability, was not to allow more people to participate, but attract more users to take their money.

@benji stop creating new accounts and posting your bullshit on this thread lol. If you're trying to "stop" WCX to try to promote your own ICO.. well good luck

I am not sure who that is. I am a forum browser who decided to sign up and share my thoughts.

I've seen your posts and I highly believe you are in on it somehow.

Thanks.

Been watching this for quite a while and can't understand how people can be so blinded.

- 450,000 sign ups? My ass. Top world exchanges have barely 40,000 users daily.
- Referral programs and faking sign up numbers are generally linked together in pyramid schemes.
- I have access to beta and it seems very generic and just a gimmick to steal large deposits.
- No info on team? There needs to be, especially if claiming the team is from Apple and Wall St.  Random names are being thrown around; John, Pierre, etc. No info on these people anywhere.
- Whitepaper is a blatant advertisement with no real information.
- They want to wait until the 'product is launched' to do the ICO, so they shouldn't be offering a pre-sale. Also another red flag is lowering the minimum amount to $100 from $25,000 even after issues arose and delaying the ICO date.
- Everyone defending WCX on this thread like it is their religion is obviously involved with them somehow.

I find this webisite. Is it WCX?
http://wcxcoin.com/

A good find. WCX coin is linked with WCI (World Cryptocurrency Investment), another likely ponzi scheme. They have a functioning wallet, and an Android App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.WCXcoin.creditpay) The company that is listed on the app is "WCX.IO" which is not WCEX.IO, but these could be linked somehow. Also the app was updated a few weeks ago, which means they are relevant.

Whaleclub, may or may not be linked with WCX. They have the same site layout and probably the same name (Whale Club Exchange). I have reached out to WC and they have not responded on associtation with WCX. Honestly, if they were affiliated they would have been more open about it. They are also based in HK.

There are more red flags than green flags on this project, and would just advise everyone to be careful and not put any money into this.

*However, I could be totally wrong, and this is just my opinion as well as many others.
