Does anyone know why the app needs permission to view sms messages? This seems like a permission that I would not be willing to give. Looks like a great concept. I just try to stay safe in this crazy space.

Why does CoinmarketCap mention the max supply as 7 million EQT?

What is the max supply? 72 million or 7 million?
Max supply is 72million, but at the moment only about 7M are available and over 6M are in circulation, the rest are being mined. Not sure when all the 72M will be available but will certainly take a few years

This is misleading. The other coins on the site show max coin supply as the total count...

i don't know why people are bitching about the exchange.

I used it for the first time ever to get some XEL.

While it takes some time to get used to, I have to say it's much better than etherdelta...

You also need to have some HEAT in your wallet at all times if you want to make transactions as well.

But overall, well happy with the exchange.

Just my two cents....

My btc w/d disappeared. It has been four days and I have recieved nothing. I know the information was correct because the first w/d went through. This is reason to 'bitch'.

Just my two sats.

"All pending normal withdrawals up to this point have now been paid" from Heat slack last night 11:41 PM.

Understandably they are super busy small team on this stage. And if you happen to make a mistake on deposits/withdrawals don't expect the support to help instantly. It WILL take long time. Even regular withdrawals may take 24h plus occasionally. I don't deposit daytrading btc on this. Only buy and hodl HEAT and XEL.

Nothing will get lost unlike some fudster brats might like to shout around on this sandbox.

Im still waiting. 3 days. Withdrawal addresses were correct. Same information as my last (successful) withdrawal.

I made a withdraw 8 weeks ago that I forgot to put the BTC address on.  Sent emails to support@heatledger.com and messages to 9583431768758058558 account.

Possible to get help processing this withdrawal please?

Always double check your addresses.

Of course... I was just waiting for something like that... These fuckers don't give a shit! Let's make bets when the next guys gets scammed on the heat scam exchange.... I bet less than 2 weeks...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes It is a blast to see this continuous flow of people who get scammed. I warned them, but my warnings get deleted here regularly. Thanks Obama... uhm I mean mprep! I say you are guilty too of this ongoing SCAM!

Looking like it.

A total of 197 accounts on the HEAT decentralized Asset Exchange are now holding XEL, see the Rich List here: https://heatnodes.org/?page_id=641

A few accounts have experienced some delays with BTC withdrawals, but overall the launch of the BTC/XEL pair on the HEAT AE has been a success so far.

Ive been waiting 3+ days for a btc w/d 🙄

I made a withdrawal 2 days ago and still haven't seen anything...  Huh

XEL? withdrawals aren't manual so wondering if it's just slow or we actually shit the bed and did something wrong...doubt the latter not the first time trading on a dex but kinda starting to sweat here a little.

BTC. First withdrawal took about 12 hours. Im going on 3 days with this one.

I see, strange. Just noticed I got my XEL...took about 5 hours.

Well, ill not be using this dex. Ill pull the rest out in XEL (or try)  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: June 27, 2017, 04:22:23 AM
Hey guys, bought some XEL from heat and withdrew it to my XEL wallet. I read that it takes 20 confirmations on the Heat blockchain to receive the XEL but it's been almost double the confirmations and nothing showing up yet. Anyone have an idea how long it takes on average?

Not sure but you could try asking in the HEAT forum too:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1543991.msg19788815#msg19788815

Finally the XEL showed up in my wallet..took several hours.

I'm going on 3 days with a btc withdrawal.

To clarify - it is not safe to forge with the online wallet, correct?

Correct

why it's not safe?

Because any remote wallet is hosted by "someone" and you should not trust it.

1. http://wallet.elasticexplorer.org/ is hosted by me. I secured this node as much as I could, but I can't promise you that this node is 100% secure.
2. https://wallet.elastic.pw/index.html is hosted by @byrallier. I don't know anything about this node.

I can safely assume that if you're using Windows and you know that there is no exploits/viruses/trojans/malware on your machine it's always better to use our Windows binaries (https://talk.elasticexplorer.org/t/windows-wallet-release-3-1-0/546) than some online wallet.

I have my XEL stored in 2 x seperate wallets ("https://wallet.elastic.pw/index.html is hosted by @byrallier"). I just checked them and they hav both started FORGING without my activation... Is this normal?

I am not sure might be we have start a forge on a wallet node, Is it activation on users?

I don't know...Is anyone else's lite wallet from "https://wallet.elastic.pw/index.html" doing the same?

Yes. Same issue.

To clarify - it is not safe to forge with the online wallet, correct?

Correct

How do I lease the balance out so I can forge safely? When I click account balance (more info) ---> account leasing ----> lease your balance to another account, it does nothing.

Should I use wallet.elasticexplorer.org or wallet.elastic.pw to redeem my coins? Are they both official and what is the difference?

Kind regards
