1  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 04, 2017, 08:30:39 AM
We can have paper money powered by crypto, instead of government institutions printing the money people can print it themselves
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes thinks Swarm.Fund can bring crypto into the mainstream on: October 04, 2017, 07:19:14 AM
Forbes built a great brand, great for pumping and making money, you own the media you own everything...
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ** Starbase ** Token Based Global Crowdfunding and Crowdsourcing Platform ** on: October 02, 2017, 09:35:35 AM
What can happen to Starbase by having the Chinese government block the exchanges?

It doesn't have a direct cause-effect relation but they can always register in another country

Would you like the forum to have notifications each time a topic you're in gets a reply or you get a mention?

There is a page to show new replies to your posts.
I don't think this or any new version of simple machine forum can do that.

yeah but is quite annoying you must check that page all the time and some mentions get lost

10  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin have what it takes to become a trillion dollar industry? on: September 29, 2017, 01:37:08 PM

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: September 29, 2017, 01:14:54 PM
An ICO is a tool, like an IPO or other tools, what makes it a scam or not is how you use it, you just need to be aware where you invest
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prognosis on: September 29, 2017, 01:13:07 PM
Everything depends on how we take it, the more panic that might take place just like it did when BCH was released may be seen as Bitcoin Gold's release comes near. Fall to 3000 again seems impossible though, maximum drop that I see it falling to is near 3600 and not a buck less because that was the level where it used to hold steadily. Again, it looks like a more speculative judgment than to say very genuinely but nobody wants it down there.  Grin

If you want to buy you want it down there

I tried and failed. Closing my eyes and keeping a silence just flooded my mind with every thoughts possible.

You tried guided meditation sessions or apps?

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Korea Gov. will ban all kinds of ICO on: September 29, 2017, 11:38:31 AM
If you own the news you own the market, people don't care about sources, they just read the title and panic

Real talk. But its good for the informed to buy at a discount.

True, today you need to be aware of fake news because they have very real impact
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: September 29, 2017, 11:35:29 AM
You must think what's better for you, for some people is better to start a company, others want stability, others want the academic life, you should go to college if you really feel the need for your development

Whatever the reason is, I think we should prefer education over anything. We could build our own business when we are educated and at the same time we can earn when we are professional.

Putting up a business is not easy, you still need knowledge for you to make your business idea sustainable.

Yes, even if a person wants to build his own business, he needs to learn and communicate with people in order to successfully build his business. A person without knowledge and communication skills will not be able to find a good job or create a business.

The current education system is broken... i think education should be focused first on human behaviour , bringing up good people, and not on technical stuff... if you need to learn technical stuff go to college, or don't, learn it by yourself, or go to a different school like 42

You won't learn in college how to create a business or to run it, you learn it by doing, how many examples do you want?
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prognosis on: September 29, 2017, 11:31:30 AM
If there is some important CEO saying that bitcoin is a scam or worth nothing it may fall, but will always get up, that's the beauty

CEO of what? From time to time people trying to beat the price by talking that BTC is scam. It is free market and open source code, so everyone who have brain know what that mean.

After this last hard fall to $3000 i'm sure there is no way to repeat this price. The worst what can happen is $3500 - $3600

There are so many factors, it's a very speculative market, so anything is possible
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: September 29, 2017, 11:26:00 AM
Investing in Bitcoin can be considered as a type of gambling, like the stock market is... because there's a high risk, bitcoin itself is not gambling, what you do with it can be
Bitcoin trading is the financial game while stock market is calm and it's investing. Learn and work a lot and win in the long run.

Bitcoin - you are the casino and you always win (it's investment). It's deflationary. Invest in it but only you can afford to lose. But be warned, I tell it about hodling and not trading which expectancy is -4% if you trade on pure luck.
Fiat - you are the gambler. It's inflationary. Banks are the casinos and they always wins.

Why you say trading is not good? being a very volatile system there is high margins for gains, if you use derivates there is even more
