Is this coin a scam or not? It's hard to find from all the comments here. I want to put a couple of GTX 1080ti on zhash. Wonder if BTG a good choice??
Yes, they are scam. They have a big list of issues how they scammed ppl: 1. mybtgwallet - scam wallet that was promoted by the team, ppl lost around 2 mln $; 2. devs sold all their coins ATH (500 $) + Xapo dumping all their coins; 3. devs made 51% attack to get more coins, since their burnrate now is 25000 coins per month (around 300-500k USD); 4. huge premine - around 200k coins. 5. hidden fees in pools, devs got around 8k coins with hidden fees. List is even bigger. Dont believe what they say, there are good ppl like me who tried to warn ppl to avoid this scam. Be smart and dont invest in Bitcoin forks like this Shitcoin Gold. Is it not true this coin was created buy that serial scammer Rett? or Brett/Brat, whatever the kid is called, not the first or last either & when caught out he tried one last fork into some BS coin which he had bought 1% of the total supply before announcing the fact he was going to fork it, (which never went any further than the BS coin pump) talk about blatant & shameless, lol! So the coin is the offspring of a pumper and scammer, weather or not you have good intentions now the damage has been done by rett & the above mentioned "issues": insecure wallet, dev's exit, 51% attack to produce extra coins & ofcourse the get rich scheme that was the premine. ... if I'm wrong in any way please correct me! You are completely wrong, you are talking about Bitcoin Private. Rhett has never been involved in Bitcoin Gold except once in our old Slack he tried to convince people to use his fork without the premine https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/776s79/rhett_creighton_on_twitter_i_removed_the_premine/ . I remember this personally. Then he disappeared and popped back up with BTCP. These are predictions for Ethereum in upcoming years which I saw somewhere and completely agree upon:  Think I am crazy? Wait and Watch. even at the price eth is now it's far more expensive than bitcoin! e.g. shapeshifter transaction eth costs 0.008, bitcoin is 15 x higher and it costs 0.002, take eth up by even 10 times to equalise price & an eth transaction through shapeshifte becomes 0.08, 4 times more expensive than btc, absolutely shocking! defiantly not worth it. |

Whats the recommend Gwei for transactions now ? EtherDelta is slow.
its f*kin' terrible isn't it pal! have to have more than $11 in a wallet just to register my EOS tokens, complete rip off & cant weight for some good tech, are they not making enough profit from the bloody price! not what people expected at all  maybe EOS will do the job properly and not concentrate on scamming money out of users like eth has. |

I want to know that when EOS is online, does that mean that our current EOS tokens have nothing to do with it? Can't be converted into a main net?  I think you have to register the tokens or your address, if you check youtube or steemit you'll find a vid on how to do it. "register EOS tokens" (need to do it myself) mind you i think there is gona be a tool to do this but check on the website just incase.  |

Maybe because of upcoming ETCSummit? there is going to be bunch of influental speakers, hopefully some big announcements perhaps this is a reflection of the situation BTC-BCH, they want to lure the miners more than good income and make a home network. The fate of bitcoin decide to 6 people, pools don't like it ye no-one likes the idea of those 6 people thinking they own Bitcoin so there are full behind BCH with the Chines Gov, total Chana Coin run by those 6 signers, it was all game theory, looks like 2x was never going to happen and those bad actors played a lot of people that thought 2x was a real thing. Listen to Rocket Man Woo, "GAME THEORY!" sorry got off track there, was meant to be a PSA... Please do not use Jaxx, they've been steeling ETC from wallets over the last 2 weeks and freezing other coins like ZEC |

The price seems super cheap since the conference is coming really soon.
might seem super cheep but anytime you wana sell via shapeshift they "conveniently" list ETC as temp unavailable! Corporate shenanigans going on with the DCG group i'd bet! |

super fast - transactions in seconds
private - untracable options if you want
low fees
can adopt btc updates cause similar tech
Why isn't this the nr1 coin? Does it have any problems?
Dash has many problems, like the Instamine and having a reputation as a HYIP scam with bad technology and cheesy marketing. Here is your answer. You see Dash has no problems. It is working perfectly fine ( Fact!) but it is seen as a threat by a few other lesser important crypto-currencies but also by bitcoin core developers. You can be sure if dash had a technical problem it had been ripped technical apart already by them but all they could do the last 3 years is putting bad words on dash. Pathetic behaviour. One would expect statements based on facts and proves by crypto genius developers but ... To become the nr1 in terms of a digital cryptocurrency used for payments it will take efforts to get it known and used by all the "normal" ppl in the world and a constant development to make it simple and usable and dash is exactly doing that so it has a good chance to get there. But that will take time and is not a process happening from today to tomorrow and that is good. The value has to grow fundamentally and not in hyped bubbles. And in that way ppl like Icy and indirectly even bitcoin core devs help dash a lot to stay in a healthy solid value grow. dont give yourselves credit like that, Bitcoin Core Devs couldn't give a s**t what happens with your scam token. I actually made the mistake of not listening to my friends at the conference and bought some dash... its done nothing but go down in value since then. always hear dash is doing this, dash is doing that... they don't do a f**kin' thing, its the exact same as it was at the beginning of the year! truth of the matter is in the price and that shows it was pumped before conference and sold off after, the speakers were all either duped or in on it, payed in BTC instead of in DASH that's for sure or it was exchanged instantly, (speaks volumes!) (edit) PS: think they've been bought off buy the EEA, bet the price never goes higher than ETH again! |

Vertcoin is really better than btc, but why btc is 6k$ and vtc only 1$??
because there's folk like temporel on board Vertcoin has a great future if it doesn't get manipulated by greed of those with no patience. more miners, more network effect, more mouths to spread the knowledge, great base for a bright future of a truly decentralised coin  |

Yes they did. what a weird move. Its like they dont want other people to mine that coin. The mining difficulty raised because of more and more miners got in, not because of "they". "they" means the devs? They have nothing to do with the difficulty. nice one man, f*k the conspiracy theories, lol! I wasn't sure if there was a pump as the chart kind of looks like it... but if the diff went up, loads more mining (which i was thinking myself, lol!) that would or could explain a bit & a well deserved boost for the miners, finally getting rewarded for your work The first thing that turned my eye on vertcoin was it seemed to be what Bitcoin Gold or Bitcoin GPU is trying to be but without the pre-mine and free distribution that'll put cash in the devs pockets (B-gold not Vert I mean) This could be a great advertising oppertunity for Vertcoin and the community, start a few youtube vidz stating that the B-gold BS has already been though of! Vertcoin is about and has been for almost as long as BTC & LTC, or am i missing something? Good luck folks & look forward to Nano support you obviously have the iq of a bird. Im just gonna turn off my computer for couple days...  Better for couple month =)) One day is gonna be enough. We'll start seeing the recovery phase from tomorrow, don't worry! why tomorrow ? the global market or only ETC ? The global market. But since ETC has been damaged more, it's going to recover the most. It's enough, we'll now be heading back towards the new tops, and tomorrow will be the recovery-days start. As I predicted yesterday, its now the start of recovery-days. oh ye, recover and return to a penny stock! so disappointed with ETC, stuck with them cause I thought good to stick to principals and wouldn't touch centralised POS ETH with a barge-pole but seems to be no hope hear, recovered for one day! (should never of wasted precious BTC on this!)  especially after CH shooting his mouth off! It recovered from <$8 to $11+ and now graph looks awesome for continuous recovery. What else do you need exactly? dont no what your looking at but from 2 Sept @ 0.00468 BTC to today @ 0.0027 BTC, don't need $ value for cryin' out loud, be better holding BTC (i did say my precious BTC not precious $$$ Well all the top crypto-currencies faced it, see XMR, ETH, etc, it's not the issue with ETC only. We'll be seeing 0.004 BTC soon again, IMO, within the next 3-5 days. You just need to hold.
