I want to know that when EOS is online, does that mean that our current EOS tokens have nothing to do with it? Can't be converted into a main net?  Huh

You have to do something to claim your tokens, not sure what it is so you'll have to search for it. I just know that doing a claim all is a no no as it costs a lot in fees. I think you'll find your answer somewhere on steemit.

Will the EOS tokens have to be switched when the final blockchain is released? I am guessing yes. IS there any information on how that process will take place?

I think you have to register the tokens or your address, if you check youtube or steemit you'll find a vid on how to do it. "register EOS tokens" (need to do it myself) mind you i think there is gona be a tool to do this but check on the website just incase.   Wink

this ico is too huge.
Another 1.7 billion usd needed to ICO address. And this have not include the money last half year gathered.
I wonder what the money gathered will be used. All of them will be used to develop and marketing?

I'm glad that at one time I bought EOS when it was $ 0.5. Now I'm just increasing the number of tokens, and I hope that  EOS will cost $ 100 minimum Cool
$ 100 cost is not something fantastic!
With a price of $ 100, the capitalization of EOS will still be below the capitalization of the Ethereum. So the platform and its coins definitely have much to grow!
I do not think it will get there soon.
Because the ico need to dump another more 200 millions EOS token at 8 usd. There need about 1.7 billions usd to buy up these coins. And the money go to the team, the market have not enough buy orders. The price need to drop and will recover in long time.
Bitshares have the similar process. It firstly pumped and get dump far below ICO price for 3 years. Then in 2017 bull run, bitshares start to recover.

What are some of your thoughts of where EOS could head toward the middle of this year. I am looking to make some adjustments to my portfolio. Not many but planning to just Add EOS in there to the mix. Any idea at the levels now what would be a good suggested entry point?

They have achieved quite a lot already. Now it is just a case of seeing everything evolve. See their Roadmap here https://github.com/EOSIO/Documentation/blob/master/Roadmap.md The way they have gone about it is great, with SteemIt as a basis project. They will also get a lot of people on board with all that cash they have, building projects on it, marketing it and making it a household name in the blockcahin space.
As someone mentioned in this forum earlier, the price needs to grow a lot to compete with Ethereum - price wise.

Why not go in on their daily ICO on the site?

This token swap till take place eventually once the EOS blockchain is live. So far, there is no certain news about it and we can't do anything. Just wait for the time comes.

EOS is building its own blockchain up.

I hope to see 100 usd for EOS. Maybe doable after few years, if the total market cap will be like 2 trillion. Which is nothing, if crypto will be widely used.

Like Dan said, they don't need the money to develop the product, they already have it. And he's not doing an ico, he's selling us a product.

Lot's of people are wondering the same, what are they gonna do with all those ethers once the ico is over. Many think they're gonna want to hurt the price of it, while others think they'll use them for proof of stake...

I guess we'll see in a few months from here...

eos will catch ethereum very soon ... their project is lot better than ethereum ... i have been with eos for a long time ... hopefully they will rise more and people adopt more eos eventually ... every currency has its up and down movement but eos is stable at this moment so it will steadily grow more and more Cheesy

I want to invest some more in EOS. I did already participate in the ICO, but want to do so again. Do you think that its a good idea to invest now, or do you think that we might see some periods with lower daily investments? I didnt follow all the periods, so Im wondering if its kind of the same everyday, or if there already where periods where people got really lucky because of not so many ETH invested at some days? If so, what are indicators to find out about such periods? Is there a way to look up all the past periods? Thanks in advance.

Take a look at https://eosscan.io/. There you can see an overview over all past periods.
