It looks like I didn't make a big mistake selling at 240k now because I'm re-buying lower. I started to like XC a lot and the work that is being done. It is normal that a correction occurs after a 300 % pump in a few days. If the developers just keep on delivering, the massive dumps can't stop this coin from getting a larger market cap. Good luck to you all!
+1 indeed

Hey guys, just a quick question:
Been mining with about a dozen or so quad/octo-cores for about a month or two now, been good so far. But it seems recently that my ability to transfer coins has diminished substantially. I used to be able to move 10-20 at a time to a secondary wallet, but it seems now I can only move 0.25-0.5 before hitting the maximum size error. And even that amount only once or twice per hour. I did manage to get in a transfer of 1.0 yesterday, but it's been nothing but 0.5's since then.
Now, I understand this is as designed(something about dust transactions from the pool and double spending). My question is, why is it now almost impossible to transfer any relevant amount of coin? Nothing has changes, same pool, same amount of hash... just been getting frustrated trying to move coins. Trying to move hundreds of QCN in 0.5 increments is not something I want to do. Would shutting the miners off for a 2 days every couple of days alleviate the issue?

Anyone mining XC on cryptoalts.com been getting wonky payouts the past few days?
ABSOLUTELY! the estimates have been WAY off and there has been no consistency from one to the next payout I thought maybe it was just me Yeah, got no payout on the 21st and now averaging below 50% of estimated. Had 17+ XC unconfirmed when payouts went out today. Now 0.84 in rollover. Really need to get an official multipool set up. Paying a grand a month for the electric during the summer, can't afford to be short changed... Same here, no payout on 21st and last two payouts been 30-50% from estimated/ what i used to get earlier. I also had no payment on the 21st. blade compensated me for the 21st payment just now. Apparently USA nodes are having issues. He advised to switch to EU1, EU2, or SG! for now. You can hit him up in IRC about the 21st. Becasue of the speedy fix, and compensation I will continue mining there.

Frankly, I have been more interested in an announcement about the team than anything about "not yet released" technical specs. ATC has hit the deadline on EVERY promsied release. Every single one. I have no worry what so ever that he will continue to do so. Anyone who has held XC for more than a few weeks knows this. The team on the other hand has been a topic of much speculation. This transparency is worth far more than any promise of tech that is nt yet implemented. Especially since I no longer need promises from the dev. I already KNOW he will deliver what and when he says he will.

i dont even understand why u guys would hype that announcement.. Jesus our marketing team blows
Why wouldn't you hype an announcement of the full development team? JFC. Unless you are here for a pump and dump, this is actually a pretty big deal. Most coins don't have anywhere near this kind of team. This^^

Hey Synechist did you see the amazing logo wallpaper that someone has done for XC few pages back in the thread?
Why don't we use it for the twitter account and the website?
Thx for your work.
I did. It's fantastic that people are creating this sort of stuff for XC. I think we should have a repository of graphical work on the forum or website so that the community can browse the options. That'll be cool. +1 to this. I have seen a lot of good work done by the community. Would be nice to have a repository.

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/#!rich Can anybody explain why this list is not accurate ? My buddy who got me into xc is not even on this list. One time I had over 10k xc, and I don't see myself on this list neither. Ehmm.... Why would we want to share our secrets? I might be a noob, but I still can hide. Of course if anyone before wanted to find out what I had they could. I think there are only 2 people that know of the amount.... well 3.... myself and the wife, and well... someone else ... It's not about sharing our secrets. It's about how http://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/#!rich is not accurate at all. Nobody knows who those addresses belongs to and we don't care. But we need to see the distribution of this coin. Most wallets have a few addresses they received coins in, plus change addresses, plus staking, plus other factors which skew the numbers. Add to that the fact that a lot of people, such as myself, have coins spread across multiple staking wallets and exchanges, trying to pinpoint distribution with any real accuracy becomes impossible.

- However in my opinion it would be wrong to conclude that Chaeplin is a fudder, since we do not have a "hard link" proving his intentions. There is evidence, sure, but let's not make Chaeplin's mistake of conflating possibility with certainty. We would act honourably by giving him the benefit of the doubt. And in acting honourably, we raise the ethic of this thread, which makes XC's community more attractive. Let's do XC proud.
+1 Thanks for saying this.

I just wanted to provide an update on the release coming tonight or tomorrow.
REV1.5 - will be released - which will support MULTI-PATH mixer to mixer transactions. Testing is underway now and will be released for "a larger" test audience once the team is comfortable with the results and performance.
ATCSECURE
This is fantastic news. You guys are so far ahead of the curve it is unbelievable. Thanks for the effort, and I can't wait to try it out!

Hello all. This is to announce that I have taken on the role of PR and media liaison for XC.
I'm co-ordinating the PR side of the project and developing a great strategy based on XC's brand (which, as you're probably aware, is currently being created by Thrash).
You'll be hearing a lot of news from us in the near future: we'll be unveiling the development plan, the team, and of course be building up a wave of public awareness about XC's market-leading tech. So stick around, and anticipate big things.
Synechist
Right on man, do us proud
