1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ArabianChain - DubaiCoin (DBIX) - Smart Contracts from Dubai to the World on: May 16, 2018, 12:41:14 AM
Im new to the DBIX community, Im glad I have come across it and it's good to see that these guys have a first market mover in UAE. Now I see that theres a new blockchain that's being floated, known as Lykos. Can someone elaborate for me- why is Arabian Chain making a new blockchain? Didnt they just have a swap from DBIC to DBIX? I want to throw 0.5 btc at this DBIX but now I am unsure.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Sell Darico Coin ( DRC ) on: April 19, 2018, 02:16:32 AM
bump who want invest at Darico with low price under ICO rate

These tokens mean jack sh*tnow Darico has changed to DEC. Only the contracts that purchased DRC will be rewarded rather than the token holders.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me the best ICO's in 2018 on: April 18, 2018, 11:57:18 PM
Can anyone suggest me the best upcoming ICO's in 2018?

www.darico.io - Aims to become crypto's Bloomberg. Darico will provide wallet, a terminal (bloomberg), an exchange, debit card and it will have 50% of all funds raised in ICO go to purchasing gold, btc, eth. This allows the coin to have stability, long term growth. Stability from gold and growth from BTC & ETH. Current bonus is 20%, 1 DEC (Darico Ecosystem Coin) is worth 0.5USD. Unfortunatley USA and China cannot participate. The team is led by a economic hero and is guided by a legal team situated in Gibraltar.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Trust Satoshi Nakamoto Over the Federal Reserve? on: April 18, 2018, 11:54:44 PM
Why People Trust Satoshi Nakamoto. On April 9, the NYSE chief stated that crypto trade is an area they can not ignore, and declares that people trust the mysterious creator Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, more than they trust the Federal Reserve (or 'The Fed'), the largest economic central bank in world. In this article, we answer the question, 'why do some people trust the unknown behind the leading digital currency over the US central bank?'

Bitcoin is a public ledger for starters. Every transaction is listed on the blockchain. It's transparent. As for the fed, well let's be honest they keep making money out of thin air, everything is top secret- it's all to keep the public in the dark. I trust blockchain technology rather than the creator.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO rating sites on: April 18, 2018, 06:24:46 AM
Good day, about ico rating/listing sites, are they legit? do they evaluate truthfully? do they really have have experts? or they rate an ICO depending on their payment to them?  Sad

There are some legitamet ones, icobench.com is for example. There are people who are professionals and rate each ICO. They have different weightings per how high they are on the food pyramid. Take a look at Darico.io's ICO on ICObench. (https://icobench.com/ico/darico) > Under ratings you will see most people are 6% rating, as per their qualification and experience in the cryptofield.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quit Falling For AWFUL ICO's... on: April 18, 2018, 03:44:17 AM
There are STILL people falling for ICO's that have no real tangible goals...If you're going to invest your money into an ICO I would suggest looking at if the coin has a utilitarian purpose and if that purpose is feasible. An example of a coin that has real potential is Nauticus. {Pros} - Exchange will offer 100 cryptos and 6 fiat currencies - Registered with Australian Government regulator - Still in bonus stage - Ability to buy using PayPal - Coin has similar functionality to BNB which skyrocketed during the crypto mania phase. - If you TRULY believe Crypto is the future, then exchanges like what Nauticus is planning on doing HAVE to exist.

In order for global adoption to take place, fiat & crypto must be paired in a way that is easily accessible to the general public. This ICO plans to capitalize on this. If you guys are interested in buying here is a link to get 100 free coins. Even if you aren't interested in buying I would suggest registering an account. Your 100 tokens could be worth quite a bit in the future if this exchange becomes mainstream. https://www.nauticus.io/ref/bc3d1de73bf33f0d1c24f775988b98a3d2c0ad4e76c7640624a4b5bc53a154db

Is this a referral shill so you can be rewarded via the link? Why didn't you just add https://www.nauticus.io/signup? Your discussion topic has nothing to do with your post. At least write that when you shill a project here, make it about the project in the title. Each ICO has a bonus stage btw. You should add some more information regarding the project so a discussion can be made. I just read the white paper. It seems like an interesting project. Here's an ICO score for other users: https://icorating.com/ico/nauticus/
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look for in a New Project? on: April 17, 2018, 11:54:32 PM
I like to see unique projects. For example, tokens that are becoming backed by commodities is my go to at the moment. For a token to survive, in my opinion it needs to be backed by a stable asset. Even if it's backed by 25% gold or diamonds or something that is going to either be steady or slowly increase in value will help. Take Darico.io- 50% of the ICO will be divided into gold, btc and eth. The rest is for liquidity in other assets. The coin also wants to be the bloomberg of crypto. So this coin has stability. In saying this- coins that are not backed by anything needs to have use value. Whether its privacy, or reward for content. It needs to do something- than say, Verge, which is purely p&d garbage.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we heading for full recovery now? on: April 17, 2018, 10:34:02 PM
There've been some pumps and dumps, but somehow this last rise less than a week ago felt different to me. The prices went up about 20% without going down. The market seems to be surrounded by great news about serious companies talking about adopting blockchain. For now the situation is stable and if we gradually see the market going 20% up every week or two, it would be just right. What do you think? Is this low price nightmare close to being over? Do you still expect full recovery this summer?

Most the market has just corrected itself. You cant expect any market whether it be fiat or crypto to rise vertically and stay that high. Markets rely on people selling the product to others for a higher price- therefore the people who got in early sold to the last people to get in. This market in my opinion has steadied out. its going to go sideways for sometime until something in the world makes people invest in crypto. Us as investors need to wait until the third round of people come into crypto to try their luck- otherwise its going to be the same money circulating.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not every blockchain project has a good future on: April 17, 2018, 10:29:44 PM
Hi,

I see a lot of great projects..
But also a lot of project which I don’t like.

Here is why
Not every project needs blockchain. Or not every blockchain project will survive.
In a project you need also a good businessplan and marketing.

Example
I saw Friendz which is a social media project. Nice plan but don’t think it will replace Facebook because
it is in blockchain. You need a lot more.. A LOT MORE to best orher companies with a centralized system.

Be carefull and good luck with your investment

Definietly agree. People are trying to blockchain everything. Let's be honest. A blockchain for dentists?! Who is going to accept tokens for dental procedures and who is going to buy them to pay for these procedures? I think in the next few years we will see plenty of blockchain tokens die off. Darwinism for crypto. As for Friendz- Steemit is proving that wrong. Facebook is going downhill from here. Give it another few years and it's going to go the way of Myspace. This is mho
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: “Bitcoin is ‘worthless’ and will perform worse than stocks in the coming months? on: April 17, 2018, 08:25:40 AM
Bitcoin is likely to fare worse than other assets in the coming months because it has no fundamental worth, an investment research firm said.

"An investment research firm said"
Here's a quote for you. "Blockchain technology will advance exponentially much like the internet did in the early 90s," - an investor said. Care to add more to the post? At the end of the day you need to ask yourself if you believe in blockchain technology. So far BTC is worth something as it is tied to alt coins. It is accepted and it shines new light onto how the technology can change us as humanity. If you can't somatxh it I suppose sick to fiat.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where and on what do you spend crypto in your city? on: April 16, 2018, 09:34:01 AM
Hey guys,

We all know that crypto is now largely an investment asset, but as the development and mass adoption, crypto is also increasingly becoming a way to pay for goods and services directly. Share please your experience of the direct crypto spending, in your city. If you spend, then where and what do you usually buy or order, in particular in physical stores or other establishments? If not, then what would you possibly like?

I'm Dether deep-contributor and your answers can help my research and the subsequent development of this ecosystemly decentralized p2p\b2p exchange. Dether, which supports by Consensys, recently launched the first dapp beta release for Shops http://shop.dether.io (the release for People will be before the end of April). Almost any offline business in any country can easily be listed on Dether map and soon they will be able to receive crypto as payments for their goods and services, as well as to make a crypto-cash exchange, which can become an additional income for the business. Whether it's a local food or tech shop, a cafe, a foodtruck on the beach or even a nightclub. If you would like to spend your crypto in your favorite places in your city, but they don’t yet accept it - just show them Dether dapp Roll Eyes

p.s. Please guys, if you can, tell at least the country you are talking about, then my research will be more effective Smiley

Australia, actually used btc as payment for a $50 dinner the other night. Wanted to try it- fee was $1. I thought I might as well use it for something. The owner only had three people use it in the past so it was pretty novel. I'm waiting for companies such as Darico.io to develop debit cards to use instead. Times are changing
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICOs at moment? on: April 16, 2018, 09:26:06 AM
Till there is some regulation brought into the ICO markets I wouldn't recommend investing your hard earned money into ICOs. With most of the ICOs failing you are better off just investing your money into already established coins as theres no such thing as the best ICOs, all are the same and finding that one ICO thats going to work isn't going to be easy.

I'm with Darico.io firstly it's a great company and secondly they're aligned with a legal team in gibraltar. The team has made an Ecosystem allowing contributors to use their product- exchange, news, wallet, debit card and the coin is 50% 35% gold And rest eth and btc. It's like DGD. Vey wise buy imho
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Season? on: April 12, 2018, 09:11:29 AM
What Month You Expecting Alts season to Start ?

I'm curious to know what other think about it ✌

I Personally think it's all depends on Bitcoin

If only if we don't go down anymore(below 6k)then alts can start moving nicely
📈

Keep in mind so many new whales and new investors getting chance to buy cheap crypto

I'm still on the side far from Alts but I'll look for some only when I'm sure about BTC stability 😊

I think the markets will go sideways for a few more months. Let dumb money finish selling to smart money. Once the next round of investors arrive we will see our next market rise. I think finding a great ICO in this period is best. By the time the ICO is finished, new investors would have arrived and the price will skyrocket (in theory Wink ) .. Coins backed by assets will do better this time round. People are getting smarter as each crypto day passes. Take Darico.io for example- backed by gold, btc and eth.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verge to the top 3 or going to sink on: April 11, 2018, 11:05:24 PM
What do you think about the news of a mayor Verge partnership. Is it going to happen or is it just a stunt to get Verge out of sleeping mode?

Sorry to break it to you but verge was a pump and dump that delivers nothing new to provacy Rhys already available. The fact that it was shilled on twitter and people FOMOD should be a clear sign. Don't fall in love with a coin. Take profit and move on. Verge is nothing compared to Monero. I'm sorry to be so blunt but it's never going to recover.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ico in 2018 on: April 11, 2018, 11:00:44 PM
Hi guys thinking to invest on ICO s . I was looking at : neo exchange, Arcblock, Abyss, photochain, block collider

Please guys let me know your favourite list

Darico.io is creating an entire ecosystem aimed at making crypto investment easy for anyone. They're providing information to crypto that Bloomberg does for fiat. Furthermore they're developing an exchange, terminal, news, debit card, and the coin is backed by gold bitcoin and Ethereum. Currently going for .50 each. Stock up my friend Smiley
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whales. What do you know about them? on: April 11, 2018, 10:58:19 PM
Everyone knows that they are large and experienced players in the crypto industry. Few people know who these people are and how they achieved such success. What do you know about this?

Achieved success? Whales are the ones that accumulated BTC early on in the game. Cheap. Some people mine tens of thousands of bitcoins when the blockchain just got started. People who took notice. Then they could buy 50 BYC of some coin. They pump it, make profit and dump it. They're the lucky ones.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ETH have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 11, 2018, 10:56:33 PM
What do you like about ETH?
What do you like about Bitcoin?
Which one is better?

ETH in my opinion. BTC is coupled to all coins however ETH has a use that far exceeds BTC. Finding the next ETH is key to becoming successful imho.. NEO or EOS that have advanced on top of ETH I feel is the correct route.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold up! We need you ---- btc on: April 09, 2018, 11:55:10 PM
The trade war between China and US has been triggered, this won't benefit any side and who is to lose more are just common people. So shall we expect a world with a unified currency and a unified government? So there shall be no wars and all the people can enjoy a more efficient world. Can blockchain bring the world to that step? Let's expect...

I might start investing in Chinese blockchain I think! China is going to win this trade war. I like your thinking however- Cryptocurrency is going to be very beneficial in the next few years especially with the way the global economy is going. I Think quantum computing resistant coins will win. also DAG and gold backed coins (DGD and darico.io)
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to transfer your coins to in a down market? on: April 09, 2018, 11:13:40 PM
When crypto starts to head down, where do most people move their tokens to?

I've been following (DGD) > https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digixdao/ as it is backed by gold. I find it a little amusing that even cyptocurrency is flocking to gold backed coins in bad times. I've gotten completely out of the market since the blood bath began into Darico.io. It's backed by 35% Gold so its going to retain its value. (also backed by ETH and BTC)
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can't figure out why the price of altcoins are dropping so fiercely on: April 09, 2018, 11:06:43 PM
Price of so many altcoins is dropping so severely ... When will the market reborn?

it's a healthy correction. See > https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=bitcoin.. We will have to wait until the new round of investors arrive. The market is going to go sideways for some time now. Many ICO's and shitcoins will die. This is perfect for the market. Think of it as Darwinism for crypto.  Cheesy Wink
