Indonesians have an average IQ of 86. Their memories are excellent but their cognitive abilities are lacking, which is similar to the Aboriginals of Australia who have an IQ lower than an Indonesian. I can attest to this as I've worked with Indonesians for over 3 years. Their ability to understand something is very limited and they get very defensive when you point out the obvious flaws of their argument. The ones who speak and write English (which they do both rather poorly) are by far the worst. They refuse assistance to correct their mistakes, get very defensive, and bizarrely, attempt to correct your English grammar! I've worked with dozens of people from around the world and Indonesians have easily earned the world title of 'The Arrogance of Ignorance.'. Their ignorance is something to behold and suspect it will not change anytime soon. Genetics does that.

The high in Eth was around 1400. A 90% drop in crypto is not unusual so that gets us to $140. Good luck.

Ripple is done. $0.00 will be its price soon enough. Biggest scam in crypto.

I had a similar problem and followed a similar path while troubleshooting. The problem was the PSU power cable had two risers on it, I gave each GPU its own cable and everything was fine. How simple was that?

Interesting post. But if this was a pump and dump, where exactly was the 'dump'? I don't see it on any of the exchanges that have XVG listed. If anything, I see a sharp, brief, move down, followed by an immediate recovery. To me, and I could very well be wrong, this should lead to new highs shortly. I'm seriously considering ADDING to my position, but have other coins I would like to own to diversify.
'Cause the noobies who invested in verge, because of they saw it on cmc gainers and thought to get in and have FOMO, they think they will get Millionaires in 1 Week, so they buy, but don't know anything about crypto or blockchain or verge, cause they looking only on cmc . Congratulations to all, who get massive profit of this shit coin and the ones who still invest, you are noobies and don't know anything about Crypto, but ok, just invest and pump everything, better for those who know it better and can dump their coins The only thing I get from your post is that everyone is a noobie and they only look at CMC. Like I said, I see no signs of a pump and dump after looking at XVG on the exchanges it TRADES on. Considering your level of written English I suspect that your ability to comprehend written English is far lower thus it leads me to believe you really are clueless about cryptos.

If anyone is receiving "connection closed by server r:0" every few minutes while using version 5.6, update to version 5.7. The problem has been solved.

And i sold all few hours before the pump This may not be a 'pump', but a normal move after accumulation. You may want to get back in after a correction. $1 anyone?

Does anyone else get trouble with ZM and Zenmine.pro? no matter what server of theirs is set? I get this on all miners every 5 mins approx; GPU0 69C Sol/s: 659.9 Sol/W: 3.65 Avg: 656.1 I/s: 354.2 Sh: 2.40 1.00 1727 + GPU1 79C Sol/s: 626.0 Sol/W: 3.81 Avg: 621.1 I/s: 331.5 Sh: 2.40 1.00 3086 +++ GPU2 71C Sol/s: 461.8 Sol/W: 3.10 Avg: 464.9 I/s: 248.5 Sh: 0.90 1.00 1979 ========== Sol/s: 1747.7 Sol/W: 3.52 Avg: 1742.1 I/s: 934.2 Sh: 5.70 1.00 2264 # connection closed by server r:0 # reconnecting # GPU0 connected to: us.zenmine.pro:9009 # GPU1 connected to: us.zenmine.pro:9009 # GPU2 connected to: us.zenmine.pro:9009 # GPU0 server set difficulty to: 000471c71c71c71c69e06522... # GPU1 server set difficulty to: 000471c71c71c71c69e06522... # GPU2 server set difficulty to: 000471c71c71c71c69e06522... > GPU0 65C Sol/s: 670.7 Sol/W: 3.70 Avg: 670.7 I/s: 360.3 Sh: 6.00 1.00 1495 ++ > GPU1 75C Sol/s: 633.1 Sol/W: 3.81 Avg: 633.1 I/s: 337.9 Sh: 0.00 . . > GPU2 65C Sol/s: 459.9 Sol/W: 3.20 Avg: 459.9 I/s: 250.8 Sh: 0.00 . . Yes, I get it also. I've searched for an answer and have posted about it but no reply so far. I switched to Zecminer and the hashrate is 10% lower, but that is better than all the disconnects I get.

Nice miner, Mr. DSTM. But being an old guy with old eyes the output is difficult. The totals line with a different color would be great.

XVG has completed an ABCDE pattern in an ascending right triangle. Also moving into a wave 3 impulse pattern, which is usually longer than the first. Expect 0.02 very quickly. 6 month accumulation pattern means the move will be long and sustained.

Can banks create their own blockchain for their own use? If so, what is the point buying and holding Ripple.

I live in the tropics and the only 1080ti available at a decent price was the Zotac Amp. It did hash very well but did not cool well. I put it at 70% TDP with the fan at 90% to keep it below 70c. I finally was able to buy an Aorus 1080ti with 3 fans and they cooled extremely well, 80% TDP, fan on auto (around 30-50%) with the temp mid to low 60's plus it hashed slightly better. I won't be buying any more Zotacs.

Bitmain release date for any L3+ are now March 21st. 4 damn months. So they get you to buy the miner and they will mine with them for 4 months killing the value than release just as they did with D3. Even worse they only take BCH so forcing a pump into BCH. This company needs competition that is real because they killed D3 in the 3 months it took to get the D3 they were mining with them so difficutly rocketed up and we get no ROI on them! Barely make anything off them.
This company has gotten to be crooked scammers that will get the miners to buy the equipment so they can mine the value out of the coin than dump them on the miners worthless!
Where is Bitmain located? That should answer all your questions and raise new ones such as 'why the #^$! would you trust them with your money?'. I've lived and worked in Asia for the last 10 years and the locals would laugh at you.

i would say Bitcoin cash and ethereum classic. both are in top 20 but for no a good reason. just cuz of their name maybe i dont know even why there is an alt as etc and what it is for ? really why people use etc or buy or HODL ? tether also its not in top 20 but currently 21th on list. they just give market tether every time and with no reason. i think that would be problem after a few months. I have to agree with the ETC, there doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for this coin. Not sure about Bitcoin cash, that could be a dark horse but I'm not willing to put money in it to find out.

Musicoin. They are in an established market that is huge and is also in need of major disruption. Don't buy now cuz I'm still mining like crazy....

I read a lot of what to buy, the top 10, 20, most likely to go 100x. But what coin in the top 20 of market cap would you absolutely stay away from and why? Please stay in the top 20.
Mine are: XRP - Ripple. Way over hyped and I think the banks are developing their own blockchains with their own teams.
XMR - Monero. Hyped that it is secure and anonymous but I've read that a transaction can be traced to an IP address. That surely is NOT anonymous!
Thanks for all replies.

The Aorus 1080 ti seems to be a good design (I have 2 of them) - Gigabyte didn't cheap out on the fans, they're real ball bearing designs - and the cooling is impressively good, though I suspect little or no better than any of the other "2.5 slot wide" cards. The cooler design is WAY overkill for a 1080 or 1070ti or below though. They definitely run better than my EVGA SC, MSI Turbo (blower model), or the Gigabyte Windforce I have in GTX 1080 ti cards at anything over about 80% TDP, and cool better across the board.
IMO at this point the folks with the best cards for long-term mining use are Sapphire on the AMD side (they are my GO TO choice period for Team Red, VERY long lasting time at the top) and probably EVGA on the NVidia side.
MSI looks nice on specs but in my very small sample size I've had mixed results on their designs (the Gaming X 1070 and 1080 models are crazy with their 240 watt default TDP but don't cool much if any better than the EVGA SC design, and their "Aero" ITX model has very poor cooling vs the Gigabyte ITX (but the Gigabyte has that JUNK FAN issue, and I've also had one just suddenly die on me a few days ago when the notorious F4 fuse blew - and it DID not come back up when I replaced the fuse).
Zotac - I'm on the fence about at this point, can't find any definitely answer on if their fans are ball bearing or not, which makes me inclined to think NOT and therefore should be avoided.
I live in the tropics so it gets fairly hot and I do not use AC too cool my rig. The GPU's available were/are rather slim so I bought a Zotac 1080ti. I have to keep the fan on a 75 - 95% level to keep it in the 60-68c range. An Aorus became available so I bought one and these cards cool rather easily. I keep the fans on the Aorus at a far lower level and it cools very nicely. I have some Gigabyte 1070 G1 as well and they seem to cool very nicely as well. It's only been 3 months since I have acquired these cards so their longevity cannot be determined. I will not buy another Zotac even with the $65 difference with an Aorus.

Mining Sumokoin with ccminer cryptonight algo. Getting 720H/s and using about 89w a card. PL 80%, CC +150, MC +800. Runs cool, low electric and the coin is a fork of Monero.

Might be obvious to us, but not to people like the topic starter — fans are just a part of the equation. I've got 2-fan Palit GTX 1080 cards (Super Jetstream and Gamerock) and 3-fan Gigabyte Windforce GTX 1080 cards — Palit are super quiet and cool, while Gigabytes are loud and hot. Gigabyte's coolers are so bad I'm not buying any of their higher-end Windforce cards ever again. So a triple-fan card might be a lot worse than a dual-fan card, the radiators are what matter the most.
I only have limited experience with cards (< 6 months) and have doubles and triples. I live in the tropics and the 2 fans had a bit of difficulty handling the heat (no AC). I bought the 3 fan Aorus to replace my Zotac and the cooling was 8-10c cooler. I bought some Gigabyte G1 triple fans and had the same result, much cooler at a lower fan rate. What 3 fan GPU's would you recommend (or even 2 fans) for tropical heat that would be better than the Aorus or G1s? Thanks for your consideration of this request.
