1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [12000 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: September 02, 2013, 11:02:09 PM
I also noticed the new namecoin warning, when using a valid address.  Is this the first glimpses of merged mining coming back to life?

um... i have no use for namecoins, other that to convert them to bitcoins. I have the namcoin address pointing to my address on BTC-e everything was fat, dumb, and happy. the address worked ok on BTCguild. I've never had enough namecoin to pay out on Slush. Well, today, Slush pool is saying that the address isn't valid and that i sould get a namecoin client. Tongue

Any idea what is going on? Not enough namecoin to go crazy about.

I got the same message.   Huh  I think it is a valid address, I never had enough coins to get a payout.

I'm interested in this project.  Great job.

I can't wait until there is a final parts list and instructions.

There are a lot of these usb sticks out there, someone could make some money starting a service that upgrades these little puppies.

Friedcat has honored the .1, both through his resellers and direct.

I know this because I have received block eruptors for .1 from both his resellers and direct.

Was it fully or partially honored?

Last time I checked only 30% of previous purchases were eligible to the promo due to limited inventory.

What is questionned here is the remaining 70%

When did you hear this?  And where?

2 weeks ago from SilentSonicBoom in PMs sent to his customers to communicate the promo details. He said 30% limit was from friedcat and if it was lifted he would update us.

I will ping him to check since, I see at least 2 resellers that are honoring 100%.

I would be a little suspicious of "SilentSonicBoom".  If he indeed got that 30% limit directly from Friedcat, then all the other resellers would be in the same boat.   Sounds like bullshit to me.. and a very easy way to keep cheaper units for himself
Just seen this post and had to reply. My 30% promo was handled for my customers. They come from friedcat, I pay the same 0.10 btc to receive them as those that get them pay, and I ship them out. Have a nice day.

I purchased some at 2.0 and some at 1.0 from two different resellers.  Both shipped what they received of the 0.1 promos.  I too wonder when they will get more to ship to the rest of us.

The regular price is dropping rapidly, so in a few months the regular price will probably be 0.1.  I am looking at a return on investment of 1.5 years, and that doesn't take into account the increase in difficult.   I was hoping to pick up a few at 0.1 plus shipping to help with ROI.  I know it's my mistake for buying them at 2.0, but that's how we must learn sometimes.  I'd rather learn from getting it right the first time, but that's not going to happen this time.  Right now l'd like to buy what I can at 0.1, and save the rest of my bitcoin for something better.  I'll just watch the war of the 28nm pre-order ASICs heat up, and let's see who can deliver.

I'm expecting additional USB inventory to arrive in the AM.  Your orders now ship as soon as they are received.
No waiting...  Grin

Will you be getting in any 0.1 erupters?   If not any ETA?

Do I need to do anything, like fill out a form, to get on a waiting list?

Thanks

Are there any .20 Erupter in stock?   If not any ETA?

Do I need to place my order now or wait?

8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cointerra Mining ASIC coming soon on: August 19, 2013, 11:18:29 PM
I just received an email from CoinTerra

"TerraMiner IV will ship in December this year and retails for $15,750. "

"TerraMiner IV is currently the most powerful, high-performance Bitcoin mining rig available for pre-order and packs a hashrate of greater than 2 TH/s."

It doesn't mention how many watts.

I hate pre orders.  What kind of track record do they have on delivering new products on time?  What will be the difficulty in December?

Why do I still have some unconfirmed block rewards,  but all blocks have been confirmed?  Huh

Unconfirmed block rewards is now zero.  There must be a delay.

Does this happen to other pools?

It seems that not to long ago we had a very long block.

Anybody thinking this block is a little light?

19421   2013-08-03 01:52:48   7:09:54   160946644     22010   0.00193569      249905   25.17464593    92 confirmations left

It seems light to me also.  Almost half what I usually average.

not just you... just got disconnected from pool

god dammit.  hashing away at BTCGuild now but so rarely go there, I have no idea what my site login is.

Same here!  Had a hard time logging on to eclipse, because I hardly go there.  Now that I'm in, I have confirmed that I'm mining at eclipse now.  At lease I know the my rig will mining at the backup pool.

pool is down.

My rig is using minepeon and it must have switched to the backup pool which is eclipse.

The point on the graph for 7/23 is way to low.

We had a better day that.

Mining on this pool is making me bipolar:)

Ha, ha  Cheesy

My graph looks like a graph of random numbers.

I increased my hashing capability by 50% yesterday, three blocks before this mega long block.  I was hoping to see a great looking graph at the end of the day.  I guess I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow. Undecided

Processing the current block for 8 hours now.  When will it end?   Huh
