Good idea! But I hope that giving money as incentive for user should only for the initialization period, not a long term strategy to develop the search platform. It should be better if you manage to find another way to attract user.

"Coins" are used for payment, usually mint-able; "Tokens" are properties like stock of a company, though technically they are the same. You can go to some exchanges which list your token for trading. If it is not listed, you can trade it over-the-counter with someone else or keep it as a share of the start-up you invested.

I would say that Ethereum will replace Bitcoin to be the most popular crypto currency because it not only for transaction but also needed for running smart contracts.
