I wonder if there is any way to get Sierra Chart to display Level II data like: Orderbook and Sales

For daytrading it is quite important to receive the most actual tick data possible. I was comparing the chart display on MTGOX USD to the chart @ http://bitcoin.clarkmoody.com/ and I had the impression it was lagging behind that website. I wonder which feed is more up2date: the one from bitcoincharts or the one SierraChart is feeding?

I would rather point you into the direction of using java or python. I would recommend to make it dependent on the language you are comfortable with and which libraries you want to use.

I love PHP for web-applications but for a trading bot I think you would have to take care of lots of workarounds.

For example in Java you might use XChange (http://xeiam.com/xchange_examplecode.jsp) which connects to many major tradeplaces in just a few lines of code.

Ich suche den Austausch zur Software- und Strategieentwicklung zum Thema Cryptotrading. Damit ist sowohl das Traden mit Bitcoins als auch das Traden von anderen Kryptowährungen untereinander gemeint.

Hierzu suche ich zudem noch Interessenten, die Zeit + Lust haben an einer algorithmischen automatischen Tradingsoftware mitzuwirken. Dies kann die Entwicklung einer proprietären Software oder die Anpassung eines schon vorhandenen Trading System bedeuten.

I had expected that it would use the original Bitcoin address as change address.

It's quite intransparent using a hidden change address, though. I hope they will change the behaviour and at least display the address.

- statt 3x 6990 sind 4x5380 Karten eingebaut
- statt 30 GB SSD ist nur ein 8 GB USB Stick eingesteckt

Das Rig liefert ca. 970 MHashes /s bei ca. 800 Watt - das sind ca. 1,21 MHashes /Ws.
Der Preis steht gerade bei 1449,- EUR Brutto inkl. Versand innerhalb Deutschlands.

Wer später mal aufrüsten möchte, kann die 4 5830er Karten einfach durch 3x6990er ersetzen.

Übrigens habe ich für alle Miningrigs.com Rigs ein Monitoring Skript entwickelt, welches bei Fehlern per E-Mail benachrichtigt. Außerdem kann es im Fehlerfall automatisch auf einen alternativen Mining-Pool umschalten.
