check the piece that is connecting all the blades. It has double-row plugs. It can easily happen that only one row is plugged in.
If that happens you have a behaviour as you described.

@ masterOfDisaster, you can add another item to your fail list. The extra hash power from the CCP will be delivered later in an extra shipment, most probably at a time when the miner is garbage.

My miner arrived today. I ordered 600 GHs and that is exactly what has been delivered. No extra modules inside. No explanation why the extra modules are missing.

I asked for a refund begin of April and sent them the signed refund template via email. Instead of refunding they shipped this week. When I asked them why they ignored my refund request, they answered sorry, we couldn't find your email with the refund request. Could you please send it again.

Do you know what, I was not surprised about this behavior. Why refunding, if it is cheaper to send electronic garbage.

I stick to my theory, they hold back hundreds of miners and mine with them. From time to time they send out a few so that people report positive things in the forums.

I got a Fedex tracking number today as well. My order is from September last year, order number 19xx.

I have difficulties to believe that the reason is PSU shortage. I ordered a 600GHs model. If PSU shortage for that big delay would have been the reason, why didn't they ship me two boxes? One for the initial order and one for the extra hash power due to the CPP. Otherwise it looks like the CPP caused the extra delay due to the need for bigger PSUs. Instead of protecting customers the CPP would cause extra damage due to extra delays. No matter what is true, bitmine is playing a very dirty game, and hopefully they are getting punished for that.

My theory is, bitmine holds back hundreds of units and mines with them.

Order number 19xx, payed Oct. 24th. Support estimated last week, I will get it end of this week.
I would be more than surprised if this really happens. They even couldn't tell me if my order is effected by the PSU shortage.

did you bought KHS with your LTC, or did you had the real LTC in your account, before the site went down? I am asking because my account is empty. But that might be correct as all my LTC I had converted into KHS.

My hope is not completely gone yet. I was online at couple of minutes before the page went offline. A new GHS/BTC section was already there.

Not sure if it makes a lot of sense to implement it into the site and then switch it off for ever. Why not first collecting some BTCs?

They state that they are using Gridseed miners for LTC mining.
Hashpower can be bought and sold on their website. The principle is similar as on cex.io.
The current price is around 0.03 LTC per KHs which is not too bad.
I am currently in with a couple of KHs. So far it looks good. The earnings are as they should be.

If they are legit or not I have no glue yet. If you want to test them, better do it with small money.

Only complaint I have are the relatively high maintenance fees. Yesterday it was something between 7% and 8% of the payout. Today after the difficulty increase it is more than 10%.

Are you guys sure the maintenance fees are calculated correctly?

You state on your page that you are using the latest ASICs from Gridseed. Why are you then calculating with 0.16093 watt per KHS? That would mean one Gridseed unit with 300 KHS consumes 48 watt, which shouldn't be the case when hashing in pure scrypt mode.

Fortschritte mit dem Extreme 3 werde ich keine mehr machen, ausser wenn es in die Tonne fliegt. Meine 280X Karten bleiben im MSI Board drin. Das Extreme 3 hostet einige 7950 Karten. Die funzen da drauf einigermaßen. Von Asrock Boards werde ich in Zukunft die Finger lassen. Mein Extreme 3 hat noch so paar andere Macken. Der 2. CPU Kern wird z.B. nicht mehr erkannt. Ist für das Mining nicht schlimm, weckt aber nicht wirklich Vertrauen. Re-boots sind auch ein einziges Ärgernis. Da hängt sich das Board manchmal noch vor dem BIOS auf.

evtl. liegt das Problem am Motherboard. Ich habe auch ein Extreme 3 (allerdings die Intel CPU Version) mit 280x Karten, und bekomme es nicht gebacken mit 2 GPU threads und Intensity 13 vernünftige Hashraten zu produzieren. Irgendwas zwisch 500 und 600 waren es bei mir, so wie bei dir. Mein Bruder hat das gleiche Board wie du, und das gleiche Problem. Wir sind dann umgestiegen auf 1 GPU thread, I 20 und TC 20992. Damit gehen ca. 680 kh/s. Ich habe noch ein zweites Board (MSI 990FXA-GD65), darauf hat es mit den 2 GPU threads anfangs erst auch nicht richtig gefunzt. Im BIOS habe ich dann irgend so eine Turbo-modus Einstellung gefunden. Mit der laufen auch die 2 GPU thread settings ordentlich. Im BIOS vom Extreme 3 habe ich aber nichts gefunden, was irgend etwas bewirkt hätte.

Vapor-X I am running one, the card is not voltage locked.

I am running a Vapor-X. The maximum I can get out are 760 kh/s at 1095 MHz core and 1500 MHz mem, drawing 266 watt out of the wall.
As energy costs a fortune in my country I have optimized it not for max hashing but for the best energy efficiency. I am running the card at 975 MHz core and 1250 MHz mem. In this setup I get 680 kh/s and the card draws 190 watt.

Ich hab das VOLTCRAFT Energy Monitor 3000 von Conrad. Zum Strommessen ist es ganz gut, allerdings ist es nicht brauchbar als Langzeitzähler. Nach ein paar Tagen schaltet sich die Anzeige auf dem Display ab. Ob es dann korrekt weiter zählt weiss ich nicht. Es geht erst wieder an, wenn das Teil kurz aus der Steckdose genommen wird.

Eigentlich ist es ja ein Powerlan Adapter, allerdings mit nem feinem Gimmick. Die eingebaute Steckdose mißt den Stromverbrauch, und protokolliert ihn mit. Über einen Link im Browser kann man sich diesen Anzeigen lassen. Zusätzlich wird auch ein Diagram vom Stromverbrauch der letzten 10 min oder der letzten Stunde angezeigt.

I have 2 Vapor-X in my rig and they are great. I run them at 950 MHz @ 943 core voltage. They pull just 172 watts out of the wall. In litecoin mining I get 560 kH/s. From an efficiency point of view not a bad ratio.

Hab mir neulich nen Rig zusammengebaut. Ich hatte 2 Anforderungen. Zum einen sollte es leise sein, da ich ne offene Wohnung habe, zum anderen sollte es effizient sein, also gute Hashleistung pro Watt. Wegen der Effizienz fiel die Wahl auf 7950 Karten. In deinem Fall, wegen der Stromflat, kannst du die Effizienz evtl. ignorieren.

Ich hab mir 4 verschiedene Karten besorgt und ausgetestet. Die beste von den vieren ist die Sapphire Vapor-X. Ausprobiert hatte ich folgende:

Die Gigabyte Karte ist von Werk ab mit 1000MHz getaktet und mit default Einstellungen die Schnellste. Allerdings wird sie heiß und ist laut. Grund ist, daß sie nen feste Core Voltage von 1,25 hat. Nach ner Weile googeln konnte ich ein anderes Bios aufspielen mit 1,0 irgendwas voltage. Damit wurde sie etwas kühler und leiser. Größtes Manko der Karte ist aber, sie zieht Strom ohne Ende. Mit dem neuem Bios ohne Übertakten zieht sie 260 Watt bei 615 kH/s. Bei unseren Strompreisen ein no-go.

Die XFX hat ebenfalls ne feste core voltage. Wird heiss und laut (und zwar richtig laut). Sie zieht 220 Watt bei 557 kH/s. Wegen der Lautstärke ist die Karte für meine Zwecke unbrauchbar.

Jetzt zu den Sapphire Karten. Beide haben keine feste core voltage und ziehen schon bei default Werten deutlich weniger Strom als XFX und Gigabyte. Dreht man die core voltage runter, wirds noch deutlich besser. Die Dual-X Karte fahre ich auf 925 MHz bei exakt 1,0 core voltage. Sie liefert mir 545 kH/s bei 190 Watt, ist relativ leise und "kühl" (62° bei 47% lüfter speed).

Die Vapor-X fahre ich auf 950 MHz bei 0,943 core voltage. Sie liefert mir 560 kH/s bei 172 Watt und ist ähnlich leise und kühl wie die Dual-X. Da sie allerdings die beste Effizienz hat, ist sie mein Favorit.

Wichtig, selbst wenn man den Stromverbrauch ignorieren kann, man sollte Karten ohne voltage lock nehmen. Wenn man die voltage runter dreht, werden die Karten kühler und leiser, ohne dass die Hashrate runter geht.
