Scorecoin Community, As many of you already noticed, we had a quite slowdown in the development process of Scorecoin. The reasons behind are related to the high volatility as well as the strong bear market. We observed dozens of coins with very good teams standing behind and investing time and high efforts to their projects. Today, most of them had to abandon their projects. No one can predict the market for sure but there were strong indicators showing us to reduce the costs. An example was Bitcoin, which suffered its most massive price crash on a time while it was, from technical point of view, on its “all time high”. Given these circumstances, it was a Business decision we had to make. But of course, in the end we are all cryptocurrency believers. That’s why we also believe that a bull market will come. Scorecoin is ready! Lastly, some short updates about what’s going on right now; There was an issue on the server which the Block explorer was running on. This has been fixed. ( http://scorecoin.net/blockchain-explorer/) . This information has been also sent to CMC. We contacted NovaExchange and asked for an upgrade, since there are still listing the old chain. We hope that they will upgrade the wallet soon. Further, we will contact next week almost every exchange that is willing to list Scorecoin. Scorecoin Community,
It’s been a while. We know. But further updates will be way more frequently. We were focused on establishing partnerships, updating Scorecoin sources, building the new web presence and getting bigger as a team.
Based on these, I believe we will announce new exchange platforms and team members very soon. Further, let me give you some insights about ongoing processes. To achieve our goal to be the leader as a game currency, we updated our roadmap. We are currently working on getting Scorecoin into browser games and are very optimistic to accomplish this target in the first quarter.
This is a huge step in building up more usage for Scorecoin. With the planned Score Store the circle will close and it will be possible to buy and sell items with your coins.
Another hot topic is marketing. We will strongly increase our investment for advertisements. Also, more competitions and prizes, such as the ongoing one, will follow. We want to drive more Investors to Scorecoin and getting even more stronger as a community.
Last, but not least, I want to officially welcome Lucija Pale, our newest team member. She will work in a crucial role as a graphic designer in promoting Scorecoin. Lucija, nice to have you with us!

I am very happy to announce that we launched our new web portal, including the roadmap for this year. Beside all the exciting plans we have for scorecoin, get also prepared for score store!
An online shop to exchange your score for games and an initiative to create new usage areas. Of course, being the number one as the “in-game” currency is still our main goal.
This means that we need to expand our team. Therefore, we are searching for talented and enthusiastic people who want to be a part of a great project in its very early stages.
For the start we are looking for content writers and designers. Please send your CV and motivation letter to Mark who is reviewing all applications very carefully.

Community, Here are some updates regarding the ongoing swap. We are continuously adapting the process to make it as much secure as possible. 1) After you sent the funds you need to create the related swap request ( http://scorecoin.net/swapengine.html) within the next 2 hours (transaction create time + 2 hours). These two actions are tightly connected. Our Suggestion, create the swap request immediately after you sent your funds to the swap address. 2) Swap requests will be only approved if they are more than 24 hours in past. If you don’t follow these rules exactly we cannot guarantee a successful swap and it can result in losing your fund. If you did not receive your coins after 48 hours please send me a PM with a screenshot as well as all related data like sender, receiver addresses and amount. Best Regards Ryan |

Scorecoin Community, As you all now it’s not possible to send coins from the old wallet to the new wallet. Still, since it happened to some of our users, here is a way which may give you a slight chance recover them. No guarantee that it will work but also nothing to lose. Please read first all steps before starting and make yourself a picture what you will need. And as usual !!always!! do a backup before deleting or replacing!! I won’t repeat this it on every step… 1) Install the old wallet .(if not installed anymore) If installed clean the Roaming folder (../AppData/Roaming/Scorecoin) 2) Copy the wallet.dat from the new wallet to the old wallet. (copy wallet.dat from ../AppData/Roaming/Score/ to .. /AppData/Roaming/Scorecoin/) 3) Start old wallet. You will be probably get an error message first, ignore it and click ok. Wait until synchronization is done. If the balance appears than you are the owner of this address in both chains and just transferred coins from one of your address to another of your address. Before closing the wallet send it the funds back to an address created in the old wallet.dat (meaning; don’t use the old wallet with the new wallet.at) 4) Clean again the ../ /AppData/Roaming/Scorecoin folder and copy back the wallet.dat from the old wallet. That’s it. Next topic: coinexchange.io withdrawalsWe are aware that some users send from their coinexchange.io deposit address directly to the swap address. Situation: The transaction itself looks completed on your coinexchange history and the funds are from withdrawn from your balance. You even have a transaction id. Still they never arrived on the swap address. Obviously, we cannot send you the new masternode coins before receiving the old ones but we are also in contact with coinexchange.io support who is already investigating the root issue. If you check your deposit address on https://prohashing.com/explorer/Scorecoin/ you will probably notice that your funds are still there. Also that the provided transaction id does not exist. So it seems to be an internal issue on their exchange script. Just wait until they fix this. We will swap your old coins of course after the swap deadline too, if it comes to that. As Mark already mentioned; Please withdraw your old coins from coinexchange.io ! After the update, this won’t be possible anymore. Deadline is the 5th January of 2018 but I would suggest not to wait for the last minute. Don’t forget that, after withdrawing, you still need to do the swap process before getting the new masternode coin.

If your Swap request is older than 24 hours and you did not receive any coins yet, further clarification may require.
Common issues are; incomplete or wrong values (txid, amount), no related swap request at all or multiple requests.
In all these cases, we need to validate that swap. Please send me a PM on Discord with all data you have like screenshots and values entered (especially sender address).

Hi Community, We slightly changed the swap engine and added an extra field called “transaction Id.” This will ensure that a swap request can be only created after the amount has been sent to the swap address. I am very happy to announce that we released Scorecoin masternodes!
I want to thank every single investor for their contribution and support during the development time. Now, let’s leave that period beyond us and focus on future. We have great plans for 2018!
First, let’s get into the most frequently asked Questions;
How to proceed?
The new release is pure POS coin with masternodes. Therefore, you will need to swap your “old” coins against the “new” ones. It will be, as already announced before, on a 1:1 ratio. The swap process itself is straight forward.
Go to our official Website scorecoin.net, click on Swap Engine and follow the instructions. We will review every single transaction request manually before approving it. By the way, yes!, we launched also our new web platform. Design and Content are still in development but it will be all completed, including new roadmap and new Blockchain explorer, quite soon.
What about Exchange?
Scorecoin has an impressive history. It is listed on hundreds of various cryptocurrency lists, integrated in payment gateways, mobile apps, websites and the most important; we have a very strong community with thousands of followers. With this behind us, we had very positive discussions with exchange operators. Although, we have a long partnership with Cryptopia, it’s time to open out to all possibilities. 2018 Scorecoin will be listed on multiple exchange platforms, aiming for a seat among the big players.
What do we suggest?
We will announce new exchange platforms soon. After the first announcement, we will also define an end date for the swapping process. Depending on your investment plan, we recommend swapping your long term invests to the new coin soon, so you can start staking. Masternodes Coins are very worthy. In our case even more. We expect a strong increase of our market prices since they were, because of the development delay, very undervalued. Our suggestion: do not rush!

Here is the regular update to give you an insight about our current process. Since there were also couple questions, regarding Tradecoin, I want to cover them with this announcement too.
We decided to release a complete new version for both, Score and Trade, which will require a Coin Swap. This is a good thing! We will ensure a 1:1 ratio so its stays that way. One, of the many reasons, we decided to take this step is the closure of Nova.
So, we are currently working on a Solution to take both coins on a new Exchange. Of course, there is also a possibility to stay and list Tradecoin on Cryptopia.
I cannot give more details but as soon as we are done dealing with this, we will start the release as well as the swap. Both new Versions, including Masternodes, have been already tested successfully.
Next Update will be between 04.12.17-10.12.17.

We decided to bring more structure in our future communications. There will be two updates monthly about the ongoing technical and strategical process. Time range for the announcement will be after the second and fourth week every month.
Meaning; the next update will be in between 13. and 19. of November.
On this very first update, in the new Structure, I want to share the current Stage of this Project and provide some answers to common asked questions;
We are in a finalizing stage regarding the next steps of Scorecoin. There are no any technical stoppers. These stage is more of a strategical nature.
Since we worked on multiple versions we need to decide which of them we will release. One of the mentioned versions has been uploaded to Github, Old Source with Masternodes. The main reason why we uploaded this, was because it was a clear undoubtable prove of work. And people asked for it. No matter on which one we will decide; the next version will require a hard fork.
What we want to avoid is some other hard fork in short time after this one. So, we need to make a wise decision here which requires time. Besides, some of us, including myself, have a full-time job!
But what I can tell you certainly is this:
First, there will be a release before 2018.
Second, we will never abandon Scorecoin.
Such rumors are mostly efforts to acquire cheap score on the market. If you want to buy a do some gambling on the alt currency market feel free to buy any other coin. Scorecoin is not a short term investment and we do not focus on the daily market value.

Source Code on Github has been updated to the latest Version (Master Branch). There is now another branch with version 1.0 which reflects the current client. We will create the new branch (2.0) and release the Windows Clients after the first full Masternode has been completely tested. The according set up will be done this week.
All further developments, as well as instructions how to setup your MN, can be tracked on Github.

I am glad to announce that we integrated Masternodes and Darksend to Scorecoin. It was an important milestone to get this Features work with our current Version. On the current State, we compiled it successfully and started to test these features on our Test net. We will update the code on Github today and create a new branch for Version 2.0.
Further, to share the development process in future instantly, we will work and update from now directly on Github.
Starting with this great News we also want you to give some insight regarding the development plans. Scorecoin is currently in some kind unique. There are plenty of “Masternode” coins out there which are all clones from each other. We reworked, almost all parts, the good old fashion way which gave us the possibility to choose what Features we really want to include and which not.
For Scorecoin 2.1 we considering InstantX while we are little bit skeptical about Spork. As usual, we will ask the Community before making the final decision.
Last but on least get prepared for some great development in getting Scorecoin to a Mobile Game very soon.

Scorecoin Community, My name is Ryan Emerick. Mark and I am working together on this Project. Till now I was only focused on the development part but we decided to change that. I will try to be online for questions at least for a couple days in a week. My Background: I work full time, as an Engineer, for a Software Company specialized in Automation. Besides that, I have long year experience, gained from dozens of different Projects, as a Freelancer specially in Web Development and Web Services. I worked together with Mark on one of these Projects. So, that’s how we know each other. Scorecoin Development Status: First, Masternodes are not the problem. They never were. Scorecoin is based on an old source code so when we started to implement new Features we ran into many incompatibilities. That’s why we decided to update the Source and implement the Masternodes afterwards. While updating the source we were confronted with a couple nice features which are already implemented on the recent versions of bitcoin, litecoin … We have great Plans for Scorecoin and Mark is already in touch with some gaming websites, talking about new partnerships. That is why we want to build on something which has a solid technical ground for further developments. That’s the part that took us the most time. Because of these major changes it is not possible to give an exact date for the next release, all tough I can tell you that we are on a very good stage right now. Still, there can be unexpected bugs in the final test phase which already happened once. For such a Situation, this time, we have prepared a “early” release of the next version with the Masternodes feature implemented on the (almost) old source code. But that’s only the backup plan!
