So how would someone get Score if it is not possible to mine it? I guess just by buying it from you. Then you should try to make the coin more attractive.

Can confirm I bought 25K off of coinmarkets and setup a masternode and it works perfectly! No issues at all.

Questions guys:

I am not the best at Linux.  But I have set up many Masternodes on Ubuntu and always use the same setup. Can someone help me here?

When running sudo chmod +x autogen.sh

I receive: No such file or directory

When running: sudo ./autogen.sh

I receive: No such file or directory.

Is anyone running a MN on Ubuntu?  And if so, how did you get past this?

Has anyone figured a way to get around this yet?  Thanks . .

I'll one shot you with the Wingman from the top of Skulltown - Apex

Sooo.... How can I swap my coins when I cannot withdraw my coins from www.hash-to-coins.com ?
I need a old wallet for this (downloaded the old scorecoin-qt.exe) but the old wallets are not working anymore.
Entering the wallet-address from scorecoin.net/swapengine.html directly does not work because the address is already in use.

you have to send to swapengine adress

http://scorecoin.net/swapengine.html

The problem is: I cannot send directly to the swapengine-address because somebody else has set this wallet-address in his hash-to-coins-account.
I receive a errormessage: "Address SbaZ52ZB46mMSLzywEFHu4qFYyL3AdpnW9 is already in use"

So:
1. I cannot transfer directly to the swapengine-address because hash-to-coins does not allow to use the same address on multiple accounts.
2. I cannot transfer to a old wallet because they are not supported anymore.

Community,

Here are some updates regarding the ongoing swap. We are continuously adapting the process to make it as much secure as possible.

1) After you sent the funds you need to create the related swap request (http://scorecoin.net/swapengine.html) within the next 2 hours (transaction create time + 2 hours). These two actions are tightly connected. Our Suggestion, create the swap request immediately after you sent your funds to the swap address.

2) Swap requests will be only approved if they are more than 24 hours in past.

If you don’t follow these rules exactly we cannot guarantee a successful swap and it can result in losing your fund.

If you did not receive your coins after 48 hours please send me a PM with a screenshot as well as all related data like sender, receiver addresses and amount.

Best Regards
Ryan

I was one of the dummies that sent coins from Cryptopia to the new wallet
Below is the process I went through to get them back and am happy to say it worked without any issues!

1. download the old wallet (I did this on a separate machine that what the new wallet is running on)
2. create a new receiving address (this will be the OLD VERSION on the swap engine page)
3. copy the OLD VERSION receiving address to a notepad and then back up the wallet (we'll call this OLD.dat).. copy the backup to your desktop or other accessible location
4. close the wallet
5. delete the wallet.dat from the Appdata\roaming\score
6. copy the .dat from the new wallet (containing the receiving address that I sent coins to from Cryptopia) and pasted it into the \score folder (this receiving address will be the NEW VERSION on the swap engine page)
7. Wait like 30 secs and then open the wallet.. If the wallet is fully synced, you should see the full balance of coins that was sent from Cryptopia..
8. Send a small test amount (100 coins) to the OLD VERSION address that you created eariler and copied to the notepad
9. Wait for the transaction to get a couple confirmations
10. close the wallet
11. Copy the wallet.dat from the /score folder (this should be the .dat from the new wallet) and paste it on your desktop or somewhere easily accessible
12. Copy OLD.dat into the /score folder
13. Wait 30 seconds and open the wallet
14. You should see the 100 coin test transfer
15. Follow instructions here to perform swap: http://scorecoin.net/swapengine.html

Question regarding the max total coins.  I see in the code that the MAX_MONEY variable is set to 58800000, but that is only used as a check for upper transaction limit.  I does not actually stop rewards being paid if it reaches that level as far as I can tell.   After block 320000, the reward is 10 SCORE forever.   So this coin is actually inflationary with no real max total coins?

To anybody trying to setup a Ubuntu Linux headless masternode, the following worked for me.  I initially thought it wasn't working because the first reward takes quite a while to come in (because of required confirmations of initial masternode coin amount + normal wait time to get in a reward).

cd /path/to/your/Scorewallet
./Scored getaccountaddress 0

That gets the primary wallet address, to which you send your 25000 score

./Scored masternode genkey

That generates the masternode private key to paste into Score.conf

In ~/.Score/Score.conf:

server=1
rpcuser=Scorerpc
rpcpassword=secretpassword
port=17075
externalip=myipaddress
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=myipaddress:17075
masternodeprivkey=myprivateMNkey

(obviously, set secretpassword, myipaddress and myprivateMNkey appropriately)

Restart your coin and do:

./Scored masternode start

It takes a while but rewards of 21 SCORE should start coming in eventually.

Check status with:

./Scored masternode status

WARNING: although this will work, it is not advised to store your SCORE on the actual masternode.  Instead get your getaccountaddress from the wallet on your computer and send 25K score there. Generate the private key locally as well.  Then just use the locally generated key in your VPS Score.conf file and setup your local masternode.conf file appropriately (wait for someone in the community to post detailed instructions how to do this).

So, you don't recommend to do a swap right now?
When is the deadline? Cryptopia says it's Jan 28, is that right?
