1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Any pool like PROHASHING but for sha-256? on: January 13, 2018, 05:49:33 PM
hi everyone, long story short I was mining with L3+ at litecoinpool.org, PPS 103%, then changed to prohashing, which is multipool and my hourly returns increased by almost 30%. Just wondering if there is a multipool like this where I can forward my S9's power and get a bit more for the juice, im currently mining at slushpool so the average reward is already +20% when you include BTC shared tx fees,  any ideas?

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Stuck 0.15 BTC since 2 Jan with 77sat/b fee on: January 10, 2018, 04:36:58 AM
Hi all,
Made a huge mistake, and now I dont know how to solve it,
I emptied my Bitwala wallet with 0.15 BTC on it and sent it to an exchange, both addresses are segwit, But I only put 77 sat/b fee, therefore im stuck for over a week  already. I have full control over the private key of the wallet used to send, and I dont want to pay 90 bucks worth of bcash to BTC.com to push my tx. I tried the coinb.in method to rebroadcast with higher fee but apparently segwit addresses dont work with it, and I dont even have  another input on the origin address to pay for higher fee, I also dont want to put more funds into my bitwala wallet cos as we all know they are pretty much out of business.
Does anyone have a method to get out of this mess I got in?

TX id is c09b11d9c0349a55d284d8fe13f6a7ff033c5942f9e67045821b2356d12f93ca

thank you for taking the time to read this, and I thank you in advance for your help,

Cheers

They are safe until they hit the 95 Celsius. If that happens(it goes over 95+) then you are having problem with air circulation and you should probably place your miner somewhere else.

Thanks mate
7  Bitcoin / Mining support / Antminer S9 chip temp on: January 09, 2018, 09:14:26 PM
Hi all,

What is the normal range for the S9's chip temperature? my miner were all in the low 70s, but the fan that brings airflow to the room stopped working, and when I realized the room temperature reached 55c. The kernel logs dont show any temperature alarm, but now all miners have their chip temperature in the high 70s low 80s. I turned them off for a few minutes, and the room temperature is now 27c. Couple of hours later no change. Is this normal? should I be worried?

Thank you

well what I've found is info all over the place for the 1080 ti,

sol/s 1080ti 650 to 690 so for 2x 1300 to 1380
sol/s 1050ti 160 to 170 so for 8x 1280 to 1360

2x 1080ti is 500w
8x 1050ti is 560w

2x 1080ti 1359,68€
8x 1050ti 1402,26€

In my view the differences are so marginal that I need a experts opinion regarding other factors that maybe im not seeing here to make my final decision.
