pardon me, but why for some blocks "Miner Reward" is less than 12.5? is it pool fee? Yep, I charge a massive 0.9% of the total ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) (as it says on Help->Payouts) "Massive 0.9%" lel ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Idk why but i feel obligated to share this.
I stumbled upon a thread from way back in August 2017, some idiot complaining about the dust going on and on about how this pool is a scam and the pools fee is 100% because he was below the dust threshold blah blah blahh, but the worst part, PEOPLE WERE ACTUALLY LISTENING TO THIS MORON!!.... I HAVE NEVER READ SO MUCH IGNORANCE AND LACK OF INTELLIGENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.... I think i lost brain cells... anyway... I've tried several different pools on and off again and Kano's pool is by far the best, most fair, and most transparent pool i have ever been on. I guess the expression "you can't fix stupid" holds a lot of weight...
End of rant.

I don’t if this is a stupid question or not. But why’s the difference between the older S9 and the S9i they just released? Heard it’s possible as bitmain is moving out of China that they are selling their S9 as new and hence the s9i, any truth to this ?
A lot of speculation on a new Antminer on the way so could be cleaning house... Talk of an S11 on the way for quite sometime now. A few watt differences in more efficient as they use less wattage/miner than the S9s. Antminer S9 14 TH/s = 1340 Watts Antminer S9i 14 TH/s = 1320 Watts Antminer S9 13.5 TH/s = 1320 Watts Antminer S9i 13.5 TH/s = 1310 Watts Antminer S9 13 TH/s = 1300 Watts Antminer S9i 13 TH/s = 1290 Watts Could be a way not to piss many people off who just paid a lot more a few weeks ago for the same miners - who knows. There’s gotta be a good reason they’re considerably cheaper. Wouldn’t higher efficiency and power savings make them more expensive?

They have batches of 13, 13.5, and 14TH S9’s but that’s the only difference I know between them. Edit: ohhh you said S9i.... I have no clue the difference.

Soooo i decided to respond and shed a little bit of light on the whole “restart” controversy. What people need to understand with absolute random probability is that literally anything can happen. Think of it as a roulette wheel. Is hitting black 30 times in a row likely? No. Is it possible? Absolutely. But you wouldnt blame the wheel for being broken. You wouldnt bet your life on red the next spin because “it hasnt hit in so long, its due to hit!”. Thats the gamblers fallocy. Finding blocks is literally luck of the draw, and with a small-medium sized pool the luck deviation is far greater, hell, you technically could mine solo with a single S9 and hit a block but your odds are unbelievably miniscule. The pool is counting shares, the invalids are extremely low. Restarting the pool will NOT make us luckier. Sit tight, trust the luck, and let it even out in the long run. Keep calm, Mine on brethrens BTC

Hey guys, switched over from Slush as well. Was wondering if there is possibly a Kano phone app in the works to check in on active miners and to keep checking for those fat blocks. By the way, Lovin' the community and the pool you guys are awesome BTC
