1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Ledger Wallet - Smartcard security for your bitcoins on: December 08, 2014, 09:14:55 AM
You claim that it is safe to use Ledger wallet on a compromised computer also.

If there is a specific malware targeted against Ledger, would it not be possible to freeze and take control of your computer after you have entered the pin, then transfer all your bitcoins?

EDIT: I read a bit more about your product. Didn't catch the security card first time. Seems like you got this covered.
2  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Trouble installing Raspberry Pi offline bundle. on: September 22, 2014, 10:33:22 PM
Im currently looking into securing my bitcoins better and thought of trying to use my Raspberry to something other then collecting dust in the same time. I struggeled to find a easy guide, but still not sure if I encounter the same bug as postet here or Im doing something wrong myself.

I installed RASPBIAN by following this tutorial: http://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/installation/installing-images/README.md and downloading from http://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/

Then I downloaded https://s3.amazonaws.com/bitcoinarmory-releases/armory_0.92.1_rpi_bundle.tar.gz (I didnt have access to version 0.92.2 ?? ) to my Windows PC, extracted onto a USB-stick and put it into my Raspberry. Then I used 20 min to figure out how to run the .py by using terminal. There I encountered a error similary to the one in this thread.

Can anyone confirm that it is the WU that pays, and that I should choose the pool which give me the highest WU? I have noted some realtivly big difference from pool to pool.

I dont know if it's suppose to be like this and I shouldnt worry, but is my hashrate suppose to alternate like this: http://middlecoin.com/reports/14vbJdrBPUwUuH6HZEqxe44uoCFrSRU14V.html
On CGMiner the hashrate is pretty consise around 700-750 Kh/s.

What kind of output can I expect a day in BTC when mining at 750 kH/s. I tried some simple calculations based on other peoples numbers, but couldnt find anything better then between 0.01 and 0.02 BTC. Anyone got a more accurate calculation?
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Post your Temps! on: May 27, 2013, 08:33:28 AM
Im mining bitcoins. I lowered the temp to 85 by increasing fan speed. Can increase more, but fan is then running >80% and I guess that will ruin the fan over time.

BTC is the only crypto currency known to the public. Its the one that will last.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why not solo mine? on: May 18, 2013, 06:23:08 PM
But there is no dissadvantage against the bigger pools? If I find the solution to a block, can a pool snap it before me?
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: POLL - Did you made any purchase with bitcoin? on: May 18, 2013, 06:21:44 PM

16  Other / Beginners & Help / Why not solo mine? on: May 18, 2013, 06:16:27 PM
Hello! Im kind of gambler, but everywhere i read Im told that I shouldnt even think about mining solo. Is there any other disadvantages then it's very low chance to find a solution? Currently I mine at 350mhash/s, and that generate next to nothing.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: May 18, 2013, 06:10:47 PM
I would continue mining bitcoins, because theyr worth something, and would keep some value for a long time.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much have newbie Mhs/Khs? on: May 18, 2013, 08:28:36 AM
