Ethereum is ethereum... The only project can beat it is maybe NEO, but is very early to tell... Ethereum is a beast, because it works and everybody use it. Waves is unknown to me in the matter of what special with it.
Go try Waves... I tried NEO and I have a lot of Ethereum. I don't like NEO because there are no decimal points... WTF? So if NEO is worth $20, and you want to buy $10 of a soda, you have to give $20... WTF? |

As the title states, I have contributed ETH for EOS during multiple contribution periods and have 2 questions:
1) My understanding is that I do not need to claim EOS tokens to my ETH address for me to get the allocation when the EOS blockchain goes live in June 2018.
The only requirement is that I register an EOS public address to my ETH address. Is this correct?
2) How can I view how much total EOS (which I have not claimed yet) is allocated to me using the contract function?
Does anyone know the answer to this? |

To people who think it's a "Good idea" to get into XBY and because they're pennies right now, you might want to consider this: The transaction per coin is 100 XBY
Think about it. At 1 penny each, that's $1.00 per transaction. If you have 101 XBY, you would only have 1 after a transfer.

The CoinLancer suggestion raised red flags for me as well. After investing a really tiny amount into Aion because of this thread, I would really be wary for anyone else to do so too. After doing my own research, man I'm not even sure if Aion is going to make it. |

The thing about Dogecoin is that I can sync to its network in less than 1 minute. It took around an hour to 2 hours to sync from beginning to present (nearly 4 years!) and then I was ready to transact. Compare that to other coins like Ethereum, it takes me around 5 hours to connect just from a few days ago.... WTF?

Well the markets reached all time highs recently so this is expected. I was expecting it to crash a lot lower after the China sell off last month, but we recovered and reached new time highs. I think another crash is bound to happen again. I mean just the beginning of the year Bitcoin was at $300 and Ethereum was $5, now just a few months later look at the prices. There has to be a correction, and that time is now. What do you think?

Paragon is not a "good" coin. Wow. I agree with the person above me, the only good coin here was Aion, and all the others sucked. CoinLancer sounds pretty cool, but it's still only a 'Meh'.
The best ICO I have ever seen (and I have seen a SHIT TON of ICOs) is probably Enjin. Next best one is probably Aion. Crypterium is probably the third. Majority of ICOs are shit though, you have to really be careful.

If you look at BCC rich list, the top 100 people own 95% of all coins: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bcc/So I think it is big manipulation by the 95% holders. They sell to each other, and buy to each other, making it look like the coin has any value. BCC is obvious scam but people who got in early are earning a lot of money today (because it is a scam, it will one day crash, but who knows when, it is not safe to get in now) |

Waves have a solid team and a growing community..i think at the moment it's still a good investment for short-medium term. As other users have already told you..you should do your own research before investing your money in any coin or token. If you are new to crypto i suggest you to start with a cheaper coin ruled by a good team and community. For example DeepOnion : very solid project, strong community and brilliant future. The price x unit it's still under $1.00, a very good entry point at the moment  I disagree, Look at the DeepOnion distribution: http://explorer.deeponion.org/richlistIt says the top 1-25 biggest wallets own 84% of all coins and top wallets from 0 - 100 own 98.64% of all the coins. It is under $1, but even if you buy $1000 of DeepOnion, you will basically nothing compared to the first 100 people that got in. Btw the 100th person has 8198.88571427 deep onions and owns 0.04%, the rank 1 person has 5603135.21787357 and owns 30.02% of all the coins. So if you want to be scammed, buy deeponion, otherwise I recommend WAVES because it is the best coin I have ever used, better than Ethereum and still a good price. |

I'm really disappointed in LISK. Again I am a LISK holder, I just think it is TOTAL SHIT, but I hold because there are a bunch of idiots out there who will buy my lisk from me in the future.
