1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than banknotes on: August 18, 2018, 10:39:11 AM
The infographic shows the 10 most popular banknotes worldwide with its anti-counterfeiting security.
There are thousands of million dollars counterfeit circulating worldwide. Just in The US the FED said 7.3 We conclude that the total value of counterfeits in circulation at any moment is approximately $70 million or about one note in 10,000, and is highly unlikely to exceed
$200 million, or about 2.5 in 10,000.

it's costly for the society (more regulations, more resources to deter, individual or business accepting it accidentally >direct loss,...) Counterfeit money exists since the Ancient Rome at least, and it can destroy a government and its economy. Even the Nazis were counterfeiting the USD and GBP (Operation Bernhard) If only 1% of your circulating currency is fake your government is out. It can't borrow money anymore, business will stop to accept the currency, and since it's the only one, then the economy will be dead.

Do you know how many Bitcoin has ever been counterfeited since10 years? ZERO !

Regardless of what country you go to it is difficult to identify if you are holding a fake money or not. Thus makes Bitcoin a lot more user-friendly at this instance. To think that you still need internet to get it? makes it more tougher and difficult for other 3 world country like us.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency on: August 12, 2018, 10:44:21 AM
How many years Bitcoin will need to become No.1 ?
I'll take a guess on this one. If bitcoin reaches the speculation of $250,000 and $1,000,000 I think bitcoin will become the no. 1 currency depending on the value of currency in the circulation.
This is showing that its a currency for the future. This graph is really showing acceptance in near future. We need to buy more coins.  Grin
Just like what I'm saying before on what I have read that bitcoin is the future. Wherever is this graph came from, this is truly an amazing inspiration especially for those investors who are already giving up because of the past correction.

It's amazing how it was well illustrated on that chart. To put it simply Bitcoin has been out not even for a decade but comparing it's achievement? it's just awesome and amazing mate!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Increasingly Sophisticated Malware Infection Attempts on: August 12, 2018, 10:21:19 AM
Besides new wallets and scam ICOs, bounty hunters and airdrop chasers should check very carefully before participating in such campaigns. Scammers are now more than ever using airdrops as baits for hacking and phishing. Please avoid any airdrop that gives direct link to your MEW or other wallet account. You may end up on a scam wallet site.

Yes you are right, scammers are increasingly sophisticated and in recent times there have been a lot of cases of infection through airdrops , it is necessary to be very attentive and careful.

This Hooligans know nothing but to steal from others. They are creative enough to create such innovation just to get other people's coins. why can't they just direct this enthusiasm into good use? Really appreciate the warning and tips from this post.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone forgot the key to their bitcoin wallet ? on: August 12, 2018, 04:29:14 AM
private keys in written form in my personal diary is the safest way to keep your private keys. Saving in Computer or laptop is risky because if it gets damaged you will lose all so best if to keep your private keys in written form.

No brain is sharper than any pen, this is one thing I learned the hard way you can be the best person out there in terms of having an excellent memory but you'll never know. It's best that you have a back up ( I'd go something in writing ) for you not to forget it.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN BITCOIN on: August 12, 2018, 03:09:20 AM
Bitcoin could become illegal in all countries that bans child pornography after discovering this: https://www.sciencealert.com/bitcoin-illegal-almost-everywhere-after-shocking-blockchain-discovery-child-pornography

What can you say about it?

By following this logic so they shall also ban the dollar, euro, pound sterling and so on... But wait, even if it happens then what? They will use another means of payment simple as that. So to continue their trip with acid, silver, gold, copper, the diamond should be banned too.

But wait, when money didn't exist people were trading (I give you tomatoes in exchange of sugar, then the sugar is exchanged for a fish and so on) Going deep into this, everything should be banned. I hope in the future we will still be allowed to breathe

This is a very good scenario for explaining this. It is heartbreaking to know that even this people are using blockchain to do such intolerable acts. Why cant this thugs just keep it to themselves.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin? on: August 11, 2018, 06:56:48 AM
Many problems can be pointed. Hackers, price going down, many negative prediction about its life in future made people stop investing in BTC.  Wink

Bitcoin or Blockchain is still very prematurely known. You lose your Private key and you can no longer access your wallet. People who bought Bitcoin at $15,000.00 and sold them @ $9,000.00 and still checking now from time to time most likely has accepted the $6,000.00 loss.

I know a friend who invested to Bitcoin when it was at it's price of $4,500.00. he invested $10,000.00 and he tried to do he calls it ( margin trading ) the last time I check on him, total value of his Bitcoin is now down to $4,500.00 the around 2.1 BTC he have before is down to 0.8 BTC now, and he still hasn't given up.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 11, 2018, 06:38:50 AM
I am not using any other crypto currency at the moment, but I don't think any of them will ever overtake bitcoin. Its the standard of all, its like money now, do you see money competing with anything else? I really don't see that. So I feel bitcoin will hold it own in the market and would probably keep growing.

I started my crypto-currency journey back October last 2017. I have personally witnessed friends and family members obtaining it. Others bought at $3,500.00 and still HODL right now. I'm in close monitoring about how bitcoin will work. I would also agree that Bitcoin has no competition.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: August 08, 2018, 11:00:52 AM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

Spot on! this is actually the side that people are looking at incorrectly. Blockchain itself is not designed to be a business but to make it easier for us and the future generation.

It's too early for us to say that Bitcoin already failed. If we think about it? ( in a global scale ) it's still on its infancy stage and still has a lot to go on. Just be thankful that we are the lucky ones blessed enough to have known it 1st.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: August 08, 2018, 10:27:36 AM
A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..

This only appeared to be a mistake since the price spiked. Had it been something different or it went the negative way. You would say you did a good job. Bitcoin is at $6,535.00 right now. If you check it last month it even went as high as $8,100.00. The fact that you still gained money is still on the positive side.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin or litecoin ? on: August 08, 2018, 09:55:28 AM
I don't think it's fair to compare Bitcoin to Litecoin. Not just the price, use most likely I would say "yes" it can be the same, but for a lot of people using it? I'll still go for Bitcoin.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: August 05, 2018, 10:59:35 AM
Out of 195 Countries we have today ( Globally ) All countries have their own forms of Government. Making it Illegal is just difficult the whole United Nations has a lot more in their bucket to do than putting more attention to Bitcoin.

Instead of them thinking about issues that don't matter to them so much. Different Countries are better off fixing their own issues. Bitcoin to begin with doesn't have direct impact to the economy ( yet ) so they should have no grounds of doing so.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trade at the end of 2018 . on: August 05, 2018, 05:02:32 AM
I think every year is repeated. And at the end of 2018 with new volumes will jump even higher than in 2017.

If everyone thinks like you then it is better but that is not what is going to happen. It is better this way, high volumes every minutes of trading, I also thought about it, people change so maybe the ATH will be not be at the end of the year. It will be around Q3 of the year or Q1 of the year 2019. Or another scenario it will take another 3 years to reach it's new record.

To be honest, I also have the same idea. If all everyone is expecting Bitcoin to Soar that high again? it is expected that most ( so called whales ) will do their best for that not to happen. We are at our best to be vigilant and be up to date on what is going on
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin? on: August 05, 2018, 04:05:38 AM
Bill Gates said that is not without reason, there is a good reason too.

In an interview, Bill Gates said that the anonymous nature of blockchain technology as a basis of cryptocurrency could have a very bad impact.

"The main feature of cryptocurrency is its anonymity, which I think is not a good thing because it can provoke more crime, terrorism, and tax breakers," he said.

In addition, the utilization can also give a very horrible effect for users, one of which is losing his own life.

"Currently, cryptocurrency is used to buy fentanyl (a type of pain relievers) and other drugs, so it can be said this technology can cause death indirectly," he said.

This is very well said. Bill Gates is just being honest with his own opinion on how he see things are gonna be. If you think about it really we can only be as optimistic as we can be about Bitcoin and Crypto currency. Nobody is certain on how the future can be.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: August 04, 2018, 09:36:24 AM
Yes, immediately after entering the exchange, many tokens fall, but if the project is good after a while they grow.

Some of my friends had they're luck for Bitconnect, Electroneum and Davour. These are coins that are very cheap during it's ICO stage but went over 1000% it was a great time back then.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man sells house. Earns $20,000,000 from Bitcoins on: August 04, 2018, 09:12:01 AM
Just for last year I have friends of mine who bought Bitcoin for $14,000.00 who would have thought that it will sky rocket @ $19,978.60. Had they decided to sell it @ even $18,000.00 that's a whopping $4,000.00 per Bitcoin. But now at it's current price of $7,438.30 they have decided to take the risk now need to bear with it a little longer.

Bitcoin at $6000, if people earn 100% profit, that will a miracle. Gone are the days of 500% or 1000% profits from Bitcoin.

Just the idea of you loosing your house is damn Crazy? two thumbs up to that guy for his bravery and insanity.

I was able to get the coins from the Airdrop they had from last year.. & What my brother did was to have an investment too. It didn't turned out fine for him though since out of $1000 of investment, he was able to get out with the value of close to $500.

I still have my fair share of coins from the Airdrop I've received from last year. It's price now may have dropped to $0.70 but I still believe and have my hopes for this coin.

I recently.. Signed up with FortuneJack. I have tried doing the freeplay and have seen the live version for BlackJack and Baccarat. Anyone from the community who can suggest if it's better to go Live via games or the automated ones?

I was able to try the Fortune Jack website, and to be honest it's really good. I was even amazed when they have the live version for SICBO. Just curious though, how about the BACCARAT? For whatever reason it doesn't work on my end?
