1  Economy / Services / a3233 assembly on: March 25, 2014, 03:16:35 PM
Greetings, I have received my 2x 100 a3233 chips and I need an assembler.  As payment, since I am short on cash, the assembler would keep a portion of the chips.

4  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: I need help connecting my 200ghz Avalon clone to my router! on: March 15, 2014, 02:59:55 PM
Need a little more information here.  What type of FPGA does the clone have exactly?
Can you connect to the internet otherwise?
When you access your router information, there should be an ARP log that shows all the IP addresses that have been assigned.  If you are using the FPGA I think you are using, type the IP address in the ARP log that is not your computer into your browser, and the avalon configuration should come up.  click on the cgminer configuration tab and type in your pool info.  then click on the save and apply button (kind of tiny button in bottom right) and this will save your settings.  then click on the cgminer status and is should show that you are hashing.

8  Economy / Services / WTB Avalon build assistance on: March 08, 2014, 10:25:25 PM
Greetings, this purpose of my post is to determine how much it would cost to have someone build one or two avalon based miners.

My original intent was to build two Avalon based ASIC miners, I gave up trying to buy one, so I made the decision to build my own.  BIG mistake, as I have come to the conclusion that I am in over my head, and unqualified for the task.

Ergo, I have decided to turn to the community for assistance.  I can pay via paypal or litecoin.  I don't have many bitcoins to my name.

To be honest I’m just doing this for the money.   That was the mistake I made, I have learned my lesson.

My question I guess is, is there a kind soul out there who would you be able to make sense of what I did purchase, advise what parts are missing and assemble the miners?  I have some parts, most notably a 320 count chip reel of a3255-q48 chips.  I would pay of course,  I just would like to know the fees up front is all.

Other parts (only PCB):
16 hash boards
4 backplanes
1 fpga
2 pdu

Hash board and pdu and fpga components.

If you guys want to throw spitballs at me for the way I acted you can I deserve it Sad

Greetings, where would i turn if i would like to build my own Avalon Asic??  I should be able to get my hands on all the parts (ie the chips and pcb), but it is beyond my expertise to build one.  I have basic computer knowledge and can run windows and build a computer.  What i cannot find though are resources that explain how to build an Asic with Avalon based chips  Huh

Q1a.
I did not know this, but my m2n-e mobo does not support multiple GPUs.  I knew it was not SLI, but what i did not know was that if i connected the pcix1 to x16 lane adapter it would still not work.  i did not plan on using another GPU for gaming just mining.  That being said, is there a mobo out there, and it is more than fine that it would me more that a few years old, that supports ddr2 and an IDE hard drive that you would recommend (other than the m2n-e sli)?  That way i can swap out the mobo without making a huge investment.

Q1b.
if i connect a (or many) x1 (or x4) to x16 pci- adapters to an SLI or crossfire mobo, are there any circumstances where it would *not* work?  I mean will it use all the GPUs?

14  Other / Beginners & Help / some newb questions on: May 19, 2013, 12:52:46 AM

Greetings and Salutations Miners!  I am in the newb section.  And... that being said... and i hope you are sitting down.... as you may find this surprising..... and a little unusual in this place... because i have some newb questions.  I know ur shocked.

Q2a.
Regarding Butterfly labs.... i made the decision in february to buy a 30 GHs model... it has been more than three months now so I cannot dispute it as fraud on my credit card (they have an 89 day limit).  Every day that passes by i feel like more and more of a chump.  Should i request a refund?  Should I bother?  Have i dun fucked up?

Q2b.
Is there a link that discloses how many of their (by this i mean BFL) miners they are building?  Thinking a massive supply will just create a plummet in BTC value.

Q3
Kind of unrelated, but how come no one plays bombermine any more? http://bombermine.com/ used to have thousands, now only a few play.  Did I miss something?  did something better come out that i wasn't aware of?
