Why is wallet installing full node on my C drive on which I have SDD with low space? Why wallet didn't simply ask for directory to install this? I don't have enough space on my SSD so what do I do now? any light Wallets for Windows 64?
Lightweight wallet will be released soon, according to what I've heard (probably a week or two? - to be confirmed by a more official way, though). If you have an android phone and a wifi connection, you may use the android wallet in the mean time.

can anybody post working xmr-stak amd.txt for RX VEGA 64 ..... for my old config got this error .. probably due wrong intensity settings ... [2018-04-05 13:52:32] : WARNING: backend NVIDIA disabled. [2018-04-05 13:52:32] : Compiling code and initializing GPUs. This will take a while... [2018-04-05 13:52:32] : Device 0 work size 8 / 32. [2018-04-05 13:52:32] : Error CL_INVALID_BUFFER_SIZE when calling clCreateBuffer to create hash scratchpads buffer. as a start, you can take your old config and divide intensity by 2. That should start the miner. After that, optimization process starts (it seems that getting intensity above 1000 is tricky) EDIT: you can also check with this telegram group: https://t.me/joinchat/GzwfBFHKcnXYU1jw24kvXwI try made two thread with 960 intesity, but i got about 1200H/s ..... do you have sb better result for vega and sumo ? Expect to lose around 30% of H/s with CN-Heavy. On my side, I went down from 1650 to 1150 @ 115W with my Vega 56... So I guess this drop is perfectly normal and matches average values. EDIT: Try with 880/880, some people got better results with this setting

is there any way to recover a wallet if I lost the seed words? I made a new wallet on the same computer and I lost the old one.. but I didnt erase any file
If you remember your password, you can import your wallet, as far as I remember. Just backup each wallet, remove them from the programdata/sumo* folders, launch the GUI and chose "import"

Concerning the premine, here's a quick calc:
- July 2018: expected supply: roughly 20.000.000 coins, share of premine = 600.000 / 20.000.000 : around 3% (!!!) - July 2020: expected supply: roughly 38.000.000 coins, share of premine = 7.200.000 / 38.000.000 : around 18.5%
If you consider that some coins are financing themselsves on a regular basis, devs share could be as high for some specific coins. Ether had a 17% premine back in 2015, still it is a successful coin, with a high market cap, and devs (which is not limited to Vitalik) could build a real trust around their project. At that time, there were also fudders, stating miners/buyers would be scam victims. Where's ETH now?
As I can understand fears - especially when it comes to "modern core values" of monetization -, I think overstretching potential issues isn't the way to go. You don't trust? Fair enough. Just buy 10 SUM and leave them in a wallet for 2-3 years and see by yourself. It falls? You'll have lost 50 bucks at most. It succeeds? You'll have more money. On my side of things, I could repay my mining equipment, so now, it's only "bonus" time, and I trust this project enough to have a reasonable quantity of SUMOs in stock.

wallet tested. My only advice is: use Wi-Fi connection for the first sync... :-D
Otherwise, it's working well and is simple to use. :-)

I am a bit puzzled by this coin. Especially considering 8 million pre-mined coins, this coin might be headed for a rough crash. At the current rate, the eight million pre-mined coins are worth 40 million dollars which would be available to three or four people who have "slightly" modified monero's code base. If they cash in at block height 140000, SUMOKOIN may crash.
Hi, Concerning premine, let's consider this: - If Satoshi Nakamoto had access to his wallet, he would have 10% of all BTCs currently available. - I'll compare also to zCash: each block mined provides 20% of the reward to the devs. Technically, they have 20% of all coins. So if used wisely, a premine is not that an issue. This said, it's always a matter of trust... as in any monetary exchange.

For the growth, if we stay in the 9$-10$ zone for a while, we may say it was a mid-term growth... If it goes on increasing too fast (e.g. 25$ in 1 week), then I'll be a bit more cautious. This said, I think that a 25$ value would be viable by early February. Just my 2 sumoshis, though, as cryptocurrencies are hardly "secure" and "stable" assets. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Don't worry, it's almost impossible for sumo to reach 25$ in 1 week with craptopia, so sometimes, shit exchange is a big plus ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Perhaps Cryptopia will be enough for that. You know, Sumo made me believe in a lot of abnormal or unexpected things... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I see that you use fixed difficulty. For instance, if you start on diff 500, you constantly stay at 500. Other pools have a more dynamic approach. Is there a way I can increase diff manually? My GPU on diff 10000 sends your pool hashes every 6.4 seconds, my CPU on diff 5000 sends every 14.5 seconds... on official pool, my CPU stabilizes around dif 30000 and my GPU around 150000. You can set your diff fixed at the clientside. At least with my pool @ sumo.pandapool.nl (which also suffers bad luck as I mentioned earlier in this thread). Just put the diff behind your wallet address, like: "Sumooxxxxxxxx .100000". This will set your diff to 100K. Thanks for the tip. I used this on fairpool a while ago, but ms-pool's faq didn't mention they supported this feature. It's true that with higher network diff, smaller pools are experiencing huge luck issues. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Hello, I just switched to your pool momentarily. Let's see if it attracts some more miners. I'll stay for 2 blocks at least, perhaps more if you can't get more rigs on your pool (I see that your pool was a huge one few weeks ago: what happened?). @All sumo miners/enthusiasts: Merry Christmas ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

hello, I cannot load my wallet. Here is what the log file says: [2017-10-25 15:13:50,842] [DEBUG] [sumo-wallet-rpc]>>> 2017-Oct-25 15:13:50.796226 Failed to open portable binary, trying unportable [2017-10-25 15:13:50,842] [DEBUG] [sumo-wallet-rpc]>>> 2017-Oct-25 15:13:50.802239 Failed to open portable binary, trying unportable [2017-10-25 15:13:50,844] [ERROR] [sumo-wallet-rpc]>>> 2017-Oct-25 15:13:50.805244 ERROR C:/msys64/home/Admin/sumokoin-billaue2/src/wallet/wallet_rpc_server.cpp:1383 Wallet initialization failed: std::bad_alloc Am I missing something here? n.b. everything was working fine with previous version. Since I tested the new one, both are failing to open it...

try launching it with "ccminer --config=config.conf" where config.conf contains: { "_comment1" : "Possible keys are the long options (ccminer --help)", "_comment2" : "todo: support /* comments */",
"api-bind": "127.0.0.1:4068", "statsavg": 20,
"quiet" : false, "debug" : false, "protocol" : false, "cpu-priority" : 3,
"algo" : "cryptonight",
"launch-config" : "32x16",
"url" : "Your.Pool", "user" : "Your.Wallet", "pass" : "x" }
This said, for having compared xmr-stak and ccminer, the former performs roughly 10% better on my GTXs

errr... I meant 460... how in hell could I write 260... ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fhpics.li%2F087b48a&t=663&c=WCi9YhE3IsLUyg) and based on whattomine.com, it should be at least 430H/s...

Whats the hashrate with a GTX1060? With ccminer I get only 250
I'm getting 260H/s on xmr-stak (+220 on both core and RAM, TDP 80%; my GTXs 3Gb are running at 2113/4037).

Hello to all... This is my first post - and I don't intend posting very often tbh - but I wanted to share some thoughts. First, let's start with the new website: I find it pretty nice. The only "problem" I can see is that the wallet version is not visible enough. I had to take a look twice before knowing I didn't have to update. Secondly, coming from zCash mining - which I did for... errrr... a bit more than a month -, I am happy to join a project where anonymity really counts. I could read, here and there, that zCash wasn't as anonymous as I expected. Last point, my dual GTX 1060 3G and my Vega 56 are providing me with roughly 1850H/s (465 per GTX and 930 on my Vega). I'm looking forward adding 2 or 3 RX 570, which are more suitable to Cryptonight mining. To the team: keep on with the good work... ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
