The cheerleaders are desperate and are resorting to stalking which doesn't change the facts a bit. They will keep committing such irrational and blundering actions due to desperation resulting from not being able to hide the truth anymore with their smoke and mirrors.

Wow, Monerise has support for SUMO now: https://monerise.com/builder/

I wonder when we will see the first site that will pay authors in SUMO.

This is quality project, haven't seen anything with so many features and enhancements in such a short time ever!

That's awesome! I wonder how they found out about Sumo  Grin

been hearing only good references about this project from every side, now I'm coming to look on my own. What is community saying? Should I invest in this long term?

Cheerleader says "Its a free expression forum" yet he shoots down every noob on here (superiority complex) when they ask sincere questions about this coin that compromises or threatens his cheerleading/hyping agenda (heck, he does it to me every time and I am obviously not even a noob). His favorite reply to them: "You opened a new account here just for that?"...or something to that effect. I kid you not. Check his profile.

I don't know what I convinced you of nor was I trying to do so. I am not qualified to give investment advice. As expected of us all, do your own thorough research and make your own informed investment decision based on such research.

You may test the final beta version of Sumokoin's android wallet before the full release on google appstore by downloading it from here:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.sumokoin.sumowallet (you must sign in as a tester, just click the button when prompted)

We are proud to say that Sumokoin's android wallet is the only cryptonote android wallet supporting SSL connections and includes many other improvements (over the open source Monerujo it was forked from).
SSL Nodes:
wallet.sumokoin.ch:4445
wallet.sumoremote.host:4445

Official appstore release will follow in a couple of days

I am a bit puzzled by this coin. Especially considering 8 million pre-mined coins, this coin might be headed for a rough crash. At the current rate, the eight million pre-mined coins are worth 40 million dollars which would be available to three or four people who have "slightly" modified monero's code base. If they cash in at block height 140000, SUMOKOIN may crash.

Sure, they do have a nice presentation and a half-way decent road map. But what's the added value? What major implementation features have been delivered? Sub-adddresses are hardly considered a major milestone and the codebase for a working wallet already existed (monero wallet). Copying monero's code base isn't really that hard. Investors are usually asked to check out the coin's development team.

But how many developers are working on SUMOKOIN? 3 - 5 developers? We don't even know who they are. Seriously? I would have expected more... There is really no telling if this is a rip off or a legitimate coin. If I am mistaken, please convince me of the contrary. Sorry if that offends anyone.

Yes it is, 100% recommendation and they are delivering the goods but mother of god, han solo's dice and the millennium falcon, they need to get off Cryptopia and onto a better exchange. It has got ridiculous, $10 spike in 4 days, FOMO then a crash which makes a bad day at NASCAR look like a scouts summer picnic.

It did nobody any favours, is endemic of low volume and may have put the coin back on the naughty naughty list of some traders. More focus on exchange situation and slightly less on software development would be preferable in some respects.

I am a bit puzzled by this coin.

Just ask the pro   Grin

I think that if the devs are able to deploy useful tools ASAP to promote the primary function/use-case of Sumokoin or other similar cryptocurrencies for that matter (i.e. conveniently/easily transacting P2P just like cash) and therefore achieving mass-adoption as a consequence, it will have a very good chance of outpacing its sibling/parent sooner than later. For example, I have been wanting to be able to transact P2P with XMR within my circle like I have been able to do so with BTC for years now but to date, XMR has yet to release a simple, functional, secure and private mobile wallet (Android, etc.). It's really not practical or convenient lugging around a desktop/laptop (requiring WiFi connection) just to transact P2P (person-to-person just like with cash). I strongly believe that this is "key".

Ideally, the mobile wallet would connect by default to trusted, private and secure nodes (for user friendliness out of the box) designated/supported/endorsed by the devs that are devoid of any form of "logging" with an option to connect to one's personal/private nodes running at home or other locations that he/she has control over (for advanced/paranoid users). This is in accordance with the fungibility/privacy/security ethos of Sumokoin and similar cryptos that claim such features.

Good luck, devs!

Asking the pro  Cheesy did actually not convince me.

As I said earlier...what they have done so far in terms of development is nothing "special". Some code junkie could do that in her/his basement.
There has not been a lot of up-front invest in terms of released features (by the SUMOKOIN team).
I would be less concerned if there was more community support, open telegram groups, etc. but the SUMOKOIN circle is very "tight".
Transparency is very important when dealing with crypto-currencies. We just don't have that with SUMOKOIN.

As I stated earlier...sorry if my opinion offends anyone.

Anybody know how to contact the developers? I would be surprised?!

You did not read the ANN correct as it seems ... There is an open telegram group (1400 members). One of the devs (Vu) is there every day.

Just join us ... we are a nice bunch there.

Well, the other cheerleader has gone to great lengths in perpetuating his stalking and have resorted to sending me the following PMs repeatedly and obsessively (there are a lot more of the same PMs before the ones shown on the screenshot). Is there still any doubt about the true character of these cheerleaders hyping this coin up?

It's actually just a tad short of 9 million (8.9 million) premined coins; 10% of the coin supply. If the premine was 1% (889k coins), then it could arguably be considered fair or reasonable in order to fund development in the future. But premining 9 million coins (10% of the coin supply) is just sheer enrichment. Even Satoshi Nakamoto reportedly only mined (not premine but actually mined them himself just like everybody else) about 1 million bitcoins since he was the first one on the network; I could only assume that it was in the course of testing his code/invention/innovation. As far as I know, no transaction has yet been made from the wallet to date.

Wow Visdude... I said I pitty you ... but this? I've never seen a liar as pathetic as you. I'm glad most people ignore you (since they see you true intentions instantly).

I even was friendly to you (and acutally I did sent you a few PM's supplying information you had asked for. But sadly you never answered). You are the worst troll I ever had to deal with (lol). We had a nice time together, but it's time to hit the ignore-button. Goodbye my dearest friend.

Hi,

Concerning premine, let's consider this:

- If Satoshi Nakamoto had access to his wallet, he would have 10% of all BTCs currently available.
- I'll compare also to zCash: each block mined provides 20% of the reward to the devs. Technically, they have 20% of all coins.

So if used wisely, a premine is not that an issue. This said, it's always a matter of trust... as in any monetary exchange.

It would be awesome if more people would test the beta. It really helps our devs to find the last bugs. Suggestions for Improvement are welcome of course!
