1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HAT.Exchange - The True P2P Experience | IFS Rewards | BETA (Q3 2018) on: August 26, 2018, 06:52:02 PM

Another amazing news tidbit from Sean Pettersen’s twitter: “Just got our DUNS number this afternoon. We can now publish on Google Play and Apple Store respectively.”

My understanding is that without this number, a company can’t release anything to the app stores.  HAT.Exchange now has it, which means an open beta release must be imminent.

So I just had a brief look into masterkarl's Newbie level posts. Shilling some shitcoins was fun but blaming Ryan Felton for lack of communication in FLIK whilst at the same time shilling HAT is really pathetic.

Masterkarl, you're the first one I am banning after 1 year on this forum.

As a way of keeping this thread down to earth, I would advise (but not force) others to do so too.

I hope HAT goes all the way to 200 dollars. Cheesy I am quite sure the absence of masterkarl could stimulate this evolution.

Asking the other followers of this thread to ban me. Wow, just wow. That is some next level “head in the sand” ignorance. Defending the obvious exit scam FLIK while fudding HAT, and criticizing anyone who defends HAT, going so far as to urge people to put me on ignore. I want your post and this one to be referred to again in the near  future when all of this has played out, and we can see who among us was smart and right, and who was dumb and wrong.

HAT will be showing up in the app stores soon, and the product will live up to all its claims and more. The next time we hear from Ryan Felton of FLIK will be when he’s dragged into court to answer a class action lawsuit.

I have a friend who got in at 21$.

I told him today: don't worry, masterkarl says you're a winner.

He feels much better now.

That means your friend bought their $21 HAT in the second week of January when the crypto market peaked, right before the entire market crashed. Are you suggesting that the HAT team is somehow responsible for moving the entire market, and responsible for your friend’s decision to buy at the top?

HAT’s business model wasn’t built around a token (the token is the software license). HAT is an exchange and doesn’t ultimately care whether competing exchanges list the token or not. After the product release, it will be better for the business, token holders, and the token price if it only trades on HAT’s own exchange. True believers who are patient will be rewarded. The joke’s on you, brah.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HAT.Exchange - The True P2P Experience | IFS Rewards | BETA (Q3 2018) on: August 03, 2018, 12:17:41 AM
Recently HAT tokens were delisted from KuKoin and IDEX. As many of you know, KuKoin delisted HAT because of volume requirements. HAT.Exchange respects this business decision but does not condone pumping practices to merely inflate token value and volume throughput. Unfortunately, IDEX chose to delist the HAT token as well because of pressure from outside of the exchange. Both are business decisions made in an ever competitive and tightening market vying for trader attention.

The HAT Exchange is a clear competitor in this space and has always targeted trade of the HAT token on its own Exchange. Rest assured these actions have only accelerated our Open Beta release timeline, so you will be able to use the HAT Exchange to trade the HAT token. Soon you will be able to download the apps from Google Play and Apple stores respectively.

You don't condone pumping price to merely inflate token value or volume throughput? Correct me if I am wrong, but prior to Christmas '17 didn't HAT.Exchange effectively employee or pay tokens for services to an individual named CoinVat; whom did just that?

Riddle me this, Stonesy: if the HAT team’s *current policy* was to “secretly pump volume” and lie about it, then why did they allow the KuCoin delisting to happen, after getting plenty of advance warning from KuCoin that the token was in “special treatment” unless volume picked up? I read in their telegram that they spent 10 BTC and a buttload of HAT tokens only 5 months ago for that listing, and still they chose not to engage in market manipulation to save their investment. Kucoin itself has been outed for encouraging projects to pump their own volume, so why don’t you go complain about them somewhere?

Also, we all know your agenda is to turn every data point into “evidence of a scam.” If HAT had been delisted from an exchange for low volume way back in December, you would be screaming about that. Let’s assume HAT did pump their own volume 8-9 months ago to avoid a delisting or to get a bump on CMC. Know what I think? GOOD FOR THEM! That’s what winners do.

You know what losers do? Bitch and complain and constantly dwell on the past.

Hey, look, a huge new announcement from the team: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2285591.0

You might want to read it so you can stop arguing from ignorance.

There’s zero evidence to support your claim that “they want your data” (just for the sake of having it, or “selling” it, or whatever other delusional fantasy you have), and there is a load of evidence showing that they don’t, and only need to securely store KYC data for legal compliance reasons.

KYC/AML compliance is something crypto traders need to start getting used to if they want to transfer to and from fiat currency. The HAT team are actually ahead of the competition in that legal compliance is a top priority. They explained in a recent newsletter that the goal is to have as small a “legal footprint” as possible, so in actuality they are only asking for the bare minimum from their users.

Which project do you think will be more successful: the one that builds legal compliance into the system from day one, or the one that tries to skirt laws and ends up getting shut down by governments? HAT has a long-term, realistic strategy for success.

If you’re only in it for quick “gainz” hoping the token moons, so you can then launder the profits and evade taxes, then you’re not HAT’s target customer. Maybe you should check out some “pump and dump” projects if those are your motives. There are plenty of them being promoted on telegram in the shady groups I’m sure you frequent Smiley

compliance from day one..... LOL

kinda like lying about the airdrop..
kinda like lying about their friend coin vat
kinda like spending funds on other projects
kinda like starting the company 6 months later.. only after being called out
kinda like not having trademark
kinda like NEVER applying for MSB license even thou they stated they did 100's of times

this business will be a failure just as the few others they ran into the ground.. good luck with your Long term investment

musclepump one year from now long after HAT has launched and is operating as a successful p2p exchange and marketplace: “But the airdrop! But CoinVat! But spending funds! But MSB licenses!”

Nobody cares now, dude. Nobody will even know wtf you’re talking about then.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FLiK on: July 09, 2018, 06:30:04 PM
any good news on this project...have discovered a couple of coins recently..but did not follwo this project in detail. are we on a good way?

No good news recently, in fact there is A LOT of risk investing as the founder has not communicated an update in >3 months.

But there is also a lot of upside, if the project is ongoing & is launched then the valuation will jump >25X imo
(Even with only a few thousand platform users early on, I could easily see this as a >$100 Million project actually esp. if market picks up.)

Exactly. Only communicating when there's actually something to share seems an intelligent thing to do, especially knowing the Felton has even received death threats following this project. However, feeding the patience of some of these loyal FLIK members from time to time, would be a kind sign of activity...

Also, flikisdeaddead is officially the first member (in my 1-year-membership) who I've put on my Ignore list.

Talk about patience. Wink

Amazing, I see you fudding in the HAT.Exchange thread, calling me out by name saying I’m “childishly repeating the opposite of what everyone says,” and accusing me of being the same person as “Rachel,” but here you are in this thread “saying the opposite of everyone else,” basically defending this indefensible piece of sh*t, obviously dead, exit scam of a project.

With respect to HAT: maybe it seems like I’m “repeating the opposite” of what people are saying bc the thread is filled with malicious actors who are spreading lies and disinformation about the project. The truth is the opposite of lies, so excuse me, sir! I’ve been following HAT closely since December 2017 and I know WTF I’m talking about. In fact, I know a hell of a lot more than I’m talking about.

There is no excuse for FLIK or Ryan Felton’s total lack of communication. Professionally managed, legit projects engage w their community on a daily basis. You’re either trying to defend this crap bc you’re holding at a loss, or you’re just the dullest knife in the drawer. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re a price manipulator.

In summary: GTFOOH

So every other coin project in the whole wide world is using its Twitter, Bitcointalk, Reddit, Medium, or whichever account to its post news. But HAT absolutely needs to post its news on a Telegram account that has less than 500 members.

Why?

Could HAT's devs just act like normal people?

Thanks in advance for acting like normal people.

It takes a bit of time to even check the mentioned platforms if they have posted news or not before commenting here. i believe you are the one whos not acting like a normal person.

Thanks in advance for not acting like normal people.

Paid shiller? *insulted newbie warning*  Kiss

You are acting like paid fudder dude. Please do your homework correctly. I am one of HAT community member & I've all rights to defend when guys like you trying to spread fake news.

Thanks, you're a hero! Could you tell the community members which fake news I have been spreading?

Are you saying the HAT team uses Twitter, Bitcointalk, Reddit or Medium? If not, I was actually telling real news, not fake.

Thx!

The HAT team has a presence on every single one of those social media platforms, with the possible exception of Medium, so yes, absolutely you are spreading “fake news” and unsubstantiated bullshit.

500 members in the telegram?  Try over 5000 members.  Also, if you want news, then go to the source and read the announcements and latest newsletter on the company website instead of sitting around waiting for social media posts.  Do you go to Reddit to find out about the latest cellphone plans, or do you go directly to your mobile provider's website?  Stop being dumb.  Here, I'll even hold your hand and direct you right to the latest newsletter:

https://hat.exchange/announcement/newsletter_02_06052018/

Also, FYI, the Dead Coins site has removed the listing for Hawala.Today (HAT) because there was zero evidence that the project is dead or a scam:

is there still development being done? Development is going on very fast. Join HAT as tester and see it yourself.
did the devs ran away? HAHAHAHA very funny... Join HAT broadcast channel for latest updates and updated builds.  https://t.me/hat_broadcast

Are you an payed shiller?

Completely ridiculous.  The devs and community admins are in the Telegram constantly, the wallet has moved from alpha to beta, with constant updates based on user feedback, the website is being updated, and a really well-written company newsletter just dropped a few days ago.  The way this project is progressing is the opposite of how crypto scams operate.  It's time for the no-life FUD crowd to throw in the towel and find a new hobby (and some friends).  Just wait until the publicly downloadable version of the p2p Exchange drops.  The FUD morons will really have nothing to say then.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN: ELIXIR (ELIX) Mobile Lending App Announced (ELIX On CoinExchange) on: November 06, 2017, 04:40:40 PM
I bought in at 30 cents, can this realistically hit 50 cents in a couple of months?
With updates like this it is not a question of "if" but of "when".

I hope you're right... I think this coin is very undervalued... I'm waiting for a big raise Grin

I think the token is trading at a very fair value for how new it is and the progress of the project.  If their business wasn't related to crypto, but had two developers, a basic website, and the business model that it has, I doubt it would have a market cap of $1.3m.  I had a two person company a couple of years ago with products, intellectual property, an online store, etc and if someone had told me we were worth over a million dollars two months in I would've told them they're crazy.  Let's be realistic here about valuations Wink
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟[ANN][AIRDROP] Monero Dark Launch | Smart Contract Powered| FREE Airdrop🌟 on: November 06, 2017, 12:11:04 AM
another sh*t coin , why have to be bother to make an airdrops , why just not direct scam with fake donate?

Because promoting an airdrop builds a large following and loyalty very quickly.  The scam pulls in much more money with an active following of people with positive feelings who will defend the coin so the devs don't have to.  Glad I've only been exposed to two scamcoins and only lost $30 total.  I know what to watch for now.

100% complete and total scam.  "Darkpaper" on the website is a word for word copy paste job of the CryptoNote v2.0 Whitepaper: https://cryptonote.org/whitepaper.pdf.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

yes the scammers again locked token till 6th .. pls dont buy any token in exchanges to avoid money loss
wtf is wrong with this guy, he already made like 40 eth by selling his tokens
how is this thread even still open

I need to write to Twitter. Everyone.

40 ETH?  Try more like 200 ETH.  I added it up in the TRADES window a few days ago.  Btw, this is my very first post on bitcointalk.  Guess I can thank a scamcoin for getting me here!  oh, and the etherdoge scumbags banned me from their reddit thread because I went nuclear with the truth (same user name as here).
