1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50k$ in which coin would make you a millionaire in 1-2 years? on: February 20, 2018, 09:20:11 AM
EOS. There's a great reddit post outlining some benefits and it's currently quite cheap. Buy and hold for 5 years.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How big can the whole market grow? on: February 07, 2018, 02:53:49 PM
Into the trillions, could reach around $3 trillion this year I believe. Who knows if it could make it as high, or higher, than $80... time will tell!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic! on: February 03, 2018, 11:08:54 AM
Until you cash out, you haven't made gains or losses. Have confidence and ride the waves!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: February 02, 2018, 08:44:25 PM
You need to do the maths and make some educated predictions. Take into consideration the length of the ICO and how much you think ether will rise in that time. Look at comparable products that have gone through an ICO and what their growth has been since landing on an exchange. Like everything in the crypto world - the answer is to really do your research!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Concern about USDT implications for alts? on: January 31, 2018, 01:26:19 PM
In light of the negative news around Tether, how confident is everyone feeling about cryptocurrencies this year?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: January 24, 2018, 02:12:12 PM
Ether could definitely get to $10k in 3-5 years
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never miss a good ICO bounty again on: January 21, 2018, 01:11:04 AM
This is great! I'm just looking into participating in bounty programmes so I will keep my eye on this thread. Thanks!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for January 2018 on: January 07, 2018, 10:13:49 PM
I can't help but name 2 - SelfKey and Gimmer (pre in Jan, public in Feb). Both well worth looking into!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best low marketcap coins on: January 06, 2018, 05:29:02 PM
Kin is still extremely cheap, it's just kicking off now, and it's the coin for the Kik app which currently has millions of users.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Private Coin? on: December 24, 2017, 10:43:25 AM
Verge will could be the best privacy coin (huge potential!) and it's still at a very low price.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in 12 coins on: December 18, 2017, 10:31:08 PM
I think it needs very very big balls to hold them until 2020, my own strategy is to put out the half of all coins and let the rest just sit, so it doesnt matter then if all would crash or whatever in the future... if i take a good profit i will be very happy and i will add some more coins in january, like litecoin and neo and eos and ethereum and maybe vertcoin

On what basis you think you need BIG BALLS to hold them till 2020? What's gonna happen then? It's 2 years we are talking about. That's a long time when we talk about Crypto.

I echo this - you're in it to trade or hold surely. I'd call it the norm rather than ballsy. Unless it's not looking good for a coin, I'm expecting to hold until around 2020, or even for more years if need be to get the return I'm after.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 5 coins under 10$ that can reach 300$ in future on: December 17, 2017, 02:10:41 AM
Some interesting coins on here I'll have to research! I have high hopes for Ada, Iota and Tron.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN or ETHEREUM? on: December 10, 2017, 09:44:07 PM
Ether still has huge potential to rise. I would agree if you've got a relatively small amount Bitcoin might not be a life changing investment now. I'd go with ether and a number of alts at low prices (penny stocks) to give yourself a diverse portfolio with greater opportunities for ROI.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which makes sense to buy a bitcoin or to buy a altcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 11:09:29 PM
Depends how much you have to invest. I think at this point (especially if you don't have a huge amount) you could make a greater long term profit investing in alts; have a mixed portfolio and keep up to date with ICOs as they're happening.
15  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Should I get a hardware wallet ? on: December 05, 2017, 09:38:29 PM
There's a good comparison of the risks and benefits of all the different types of wallets here - https://www.finder.com/cryptocurrency/wallets
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: December 02, 2017, 12:29:17 AM
A good ICO yes I believe so. Unless you have large amounts of money to invest, it'll go further with a good ICO project. Say if you buy 250 tokens for $50, and the price raises to $50 or so for each token - you've got a winner! On the other hand, it'll take a lot to really make a difference with bitcoin now.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of Cryptocurrencies will Not Survive in 2018 on: December 01, 2017, 11:33:55 PM
Bitcoin took a while for it's price to rise, you need to give some of these companies the time of day too.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is falling ? 9000?!? on: November 29, 2017, 07:47:04 PM
Litecoin and ether are falling too. Not sure why but I'm sure they'll all be up again tomorrow. It's the time to buy!
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: November 24, 2017, 01:47:21 PM
It's price is one factor, it looks stronger and a more secure worthy investment to people new to crypto. For others it's the first blockchain currency and has that legacy element.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platforms ? on: November 23, 2017, 08:36:50 PM
Can I add to this and ask what the best trading platform is for people who'd struggle with ID verification? I'm living in a different country so there are so many additional barriers!
