We must have some funds left? The rentals have been running slower than 25 PH for 2.5 days. Philip, what's the status? Sometimes 10 , and sometimes 25. We paid more than we thought because of nicehash algorithm. Its just not reliable system. You put money but you can never know how its will act Nicehash sucks. I also hope we still have some funds we are load with funds more then .5 btc left morons are jack prices up way too high here are the 5 orders eu 8d731a8a 0.072 in btc 4ab6ad8d 0.072 in btc usa 48ee7476 0.072 in btc this is hashing a bit I have it at 0.0231 066c2a47 0.072 in btc b5cb77e1 0.072 in btc and .27 in nice hash wallet so we spent .7 and have .55 left https://i.imgur.com/GJhP4As.png shows wallet https://i.imgur.com/jUeOrmr.png shows four orders all with 0.072 left https://i.imgur.com/xM29fXt.png shows the one order I was spending premium of 0.0231 you can see a-hole above wasting their money as 0.0284 ir a 50% premium this issue of mentally ill morons over paying insanely to rent is why I did not run clubs that much. we still have .55 left we can still get lucky Good call and nice work! Hey Phil, I'm going to be out and about today. Can you send me mine so that way I won't keep you waiting.
With the 10 of us scattered around a lot of time zones I don't want to collect out of turn as I really want to be sure each person gets proper credit for their payment. Plus gives me a refund/winner btc address I am not going to start rental til Jan 1 so I think it is okay to still do 1 at a time in order. we are waiting for 5) ZB to pay it is to be handled by hiaxis that will get us to 0.6125 btc Yeah It sucks to do it one at a time but I think it is the best way to be sure each and every one gets proper credit for paying in. In the meantime watch and enjoy this http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1MVzxXXtYuvmzGBT2ZiyrxXiEpUJ6Ttr1u"bestshare": 1934532016.200088, "bestever": 1934532016, we need a much higher share Current Difficulty: >>> 12,948,593,420,946.38 our best: >>> >>> 1,934,532,016.200088 Going to add 3xs9 in few hours

Okay no coin don't send a thing.a list lets try .125 coins would be a total of 10x .125 = 1.25 Our chance would be most likely 1.25/12.5 = .10% or 1 in 10 at best that would assume we get rentals close to 0.195 more likely we would get a rental of 25ph for 2 days 12 hours giving us about a 9% shot or a 1 in 11 chance. So put your name down to see if we can raise the 1.25 btc If we hit I would tip ck .25 btc I would split the rest 10 ways. 1. philipma1957 0.125 btc 2. hiaxis 0.125 btc 3. chillfactr 0.125 BTC4. rotem8866. 0.125 btc 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. lets see if we have 10 fools. don't send coin
don't send coinput your name and that you would put up 0.125 btc no obligations. I still may decide to not run this. this is just to see if there are 10 fools left on bitcointalk. If I run it I will use a trezor address. once 1.25 btc is collected I will move coin to nicehash since it is more then 8000 usd. I will send 4000 rent and mine it then send 4000 rent and mine it. this protects us from a nice hash hack. I have a ledger with a legacy account that generates legacy addresses so the address will be a new legacy address. @ ck your pool can handle that correct? And I will run it in 2020 not 2019. please don't send coin until we get the 10 fools. That sounds great. Fool number 1 is in. Thank you for being willing to do this. If allowed to do so, I'd be willing to send 0.25 BTC for 2 spots if we have gaps to fill. I also have a couple of mining friends that may want to buy in through me if that's allowed? If so, I will check with them and put them down as well under my name if they agree and you approve. For the nicehash rental, I just rented 1PH for a bit under a standard order. Hash rate fluctuated all over the place and I paid 0.022 BTC/PH/day. I have placed a fixed order through nicehash in the past and pointed it to ckpool solo and had issues that led to the order eventually being cancelled automatically. I don't understand why that happened but has this been resolved or would we be forced to submit a standard order?

I don't think anyone will jump in with you to be honest your a new account with limited history.
I know some here do group rentals every so often I think the coordinator was philipma1957 you could ask about but the risk is a user rent's or points hashing power to your account you find a block then don't pay the member this is why most people just go it alone or wait for a trusted member to organised a group mine for a shot at the glory.
We did it years ago 5 btc was kicked in and we hit two blocks of 25 coins each. so 5 btc became 50 btc I rented 1 ph for 25 hours. the diff was 67,000,000,000 vs 12,900,000,000,000 so it is now 200x harder to do then it was back then. I got the rental at very close to real cost. that meant a 5/25 chance for use to hit a block. and a 25/625 chance to hit two blocks. ten people were in and we all paid .5 btc to get 5 btc. i think btc was only 200-250 a coin. To do this now we would need 2.5 btc. or .25btc a piece. 10 players and if we hit we would one block get 1.2 btc with a tip to ck. I am not sure I want to handle 7200usd x 2.5 = 18000usd input and 7200 x 12.5 = 90000 output If we got lucky and hit one i would be holding 90k If we got really lucky and hir two I would be holding 180k Not so sure I want to have much responsibility. With you, IM in 😄

The pool itself has submitted 46.6% of the shares require to reach 100%, which is 12.95 Billion shares. Thanks for the answear. so if i want to rent some hash , its better to do it near to 100%...of course if we didnt find any block till then

Just playing with the numbers for bitcoin
Today the hashrate is 94.38 EH/s Difficulty is 12.97T
Switching to engineering notation and digging out my sliderule.
94.38e18 hash rate gets us a hit every 10 minutes or 600 seconds.
94.38e18 * 600 = 56.6e21 hashs needed on average to hit solution
For those that do like to play the lottery, the odds of hitting the megamillions lottery is about 175 million to one. So to get the same odds of hitting a block as hitting the lottery, you need:
56.6e21 / 175e06 = 323e12 hashes needed to get the same odds as buying one lottery ticket.
I have an old Gridseed 5 chip dual miner. I am running it very slow for various thermal issues, but I get about 3.5GH/s or 3.5e9 hashs per second.
323e12 / 3.5e9 = 92.3e3 seconds or 1.07 days.
So running the miner is the same as getting a lottery ticket every day.
How long would I need to run on average to hit a block?
56.6e21 / 3.5e9 = 16.2e12 seconds or 512,000 years.
It shows the odds of hitting a lottery are really that bad.
Yes, I know hitting the lottery for millions of dollars is way more than hitting a block. Just looking at the odds of getting lucky.
I still buy lottery tickets on occasion.
You can also see the simple way my chanse to win lottery today in my country- 1:18,000,000 my chanse to hit a block today with 40th - 1:17,242 much better odds to hit the block. is this a wrong way to think about it ?
