1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: January 04, 2018, 12:17:00 PM
People always greed.
Yes, I am one of them.
Recently, i lost some of my bitcon because i want more instead of holding bitcoin. so i buy altcoin but not top 10 altcoin.
Would you like to share your experience?
Beside, i know that airdrop is good way to gain profit.
What do you think DeepOnion airdrop? It seems that they got a very good community.

Deeponion is good airdrop but they are having more rules which is not allowing new users to participate in airdrops. They are just rewarding the good amount only for people who participated earlier.A community will grow big if it accepts and invites more people .But deeponion seems to be missing that.So waste.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOINS under $1 on: January 04, 2018, 12:12:09 PM
Which Altcoins are likely to pump in a month or two, and can give profit in short term? I am new and cant afford losing money.

You can invest in worldcore. It is likely to be pumped more and more in the coming months. You can grab the opportunity and invest and make good returns
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex Preparing an Exit Scam! DO _NOT_ SEND COINS THERE! on: January 04, 2018, 12:09:55 PM
Despite the fact that I have been a customer with them for almost 4 years, Poloniex is refusing to allow the withdrawal over $2,000 worth of coins from my account. Yes, I have a Legacy Account. Yes, I created a Support Ticket over 1 month ago. Now they are just sitting on my money and there is no way to contact a real human being there. So whatever you do, DON'T USE POLONIEX. They will likely just sit on your money until they run away with it all.

Want proof? Here you go:

They will gladly take your money, even though I don't really understand what this means. 12 of 12 confirmations and still pending... Hmmm...

Here is me trying to withdraw BTC from my XRP trade, after clicking the verification email link to confirm its me and I really do want to make this withdrawal. As you can see, the withdraw request was made over 24 hours ago and despite what is says in their "Support" section (what a corruption of the word), I have not been contacted by anybody. Obviously they have my email address, so why no follow-up?

Here's me re-visiting the withdraw request link in my email, just so you can see that I actually received the email, and I clicked it again thinking maybe I didn't click it the first time (even though I did), after all, it says "Awaiting Approval" for my withdrawal status.

Here's what Poloniex has to say after I clicked the link in my email. "Oops" is right. Assholes. (Them, not you.)

Finally, here's an example of how slow and useless their support team is. I would say this is proof they are either readying for an exit scam or else practicing fractional reserve banking, which means they don't actually have the coins to send me. As you can see I created these tickets an entire month ago and have received NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER from them.

No telephone number. No email address. Nothing to do except for sit and wait and pray.

TL;DR - DON'T USE POLONIEX OR COUNT ON THEM TO OFFER _ANY_ BIT OF SUPPORT!

Yes this is the problem with centralized exchanges like poloniex.  We are in desparate need of decentralized exchanges for instant and riskless transactions. I hope we will get more decentralized exchanges.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: January 04, 2018, 11:59:45 AM
I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.

You are not late. Even I entered the market just four months before. Now we have good opportunity to invest and earn. Bitcoin will still be bigger than what we are looking for.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5000 gbp to invest. Pleave review my altcoin choices on: January 04, 2018, 11:56:12 AM
Hi guys,
My first post on this forum, thanks for reading.
Without going into too much detail, I dont have many years left on this crazy planet and want to invest some of my savings in alts.
I have done a fair bit of research on each of these altcoins and plan to hold for 2 years.

I plan on spreading my 5000 pounds as follows:
ADA 1000
ETHOS 1800
TRON 1000
DENT 200
XLM 1000

Thats about it really.
I am hoping that my choices will be worth a decent amount that I can leave to my kids.
What do you guys think?
Dan

I think you are a follower of suppoman. I suggest you to invest in cardano more and ethos less. Also add ETN. ETN is a good project. They have good view and know what they are doing.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ethereum so slow? on: January 04, 2018, 11:49:08 AM
I am doing trades on ehterdelta where the default gas price is 4 Gwei. The network in the last few days is terribly slow I remember 1 week ago I was making trades on 1 Gwei and even 0.1 and the transactions were done within minutes, now with 4 Gwei I have to wait like 20 minutes and sometimes the transactions get canceled. My question is what is the reason for this? Is it temporary or it will be like this for the near future?

Yes there are some delays in ethereum network. Hope this will be solved soon and we will see lightening speed transactions on ethereum with less gas price. Now the low gas price I set on ED is  4 gwei.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to Hold these on: January 04, 2018, 11:46:18 AM
I have already Purchased  ETH,NXT,XRP,START. When BTC starts to go down and down, what happened to those coins ?

you have invested in XRP at the good time. Now it is like almost 20x times big. Sell them now and buy cardano and electroneum which will give more results in the future.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People really are stupid buying Ripple. on: January 04, 2018, 11:43:17 AM
That coin is at its limit in terms of how much more it can go up.

Seriously where are the people buying into this hype?  Not even many banks are using Ripple?

I guess new people just see it going up and think its good to get in while its hot?

More like lose the shirt on their back.

Really sad to see but there is going to be a lot of people crying when this coin crashes.
It might even give a negative blowback on cryptocurrencies in general.

I feel the same ripple is over hyped now. Be careful while buying it now. You may lose so much as it is centralized those founders tend to dump their coins.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: January 04, 2018, 11:37:34 AM
When do you decide to sell?

Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?

I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage.
This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.

How do you determine when to let it go?

Yes set %. I will sell my coins invested in ICO only when I see 1000% profit or more. For too good coins it will be 10000%. But that too I wont sell all my coins but I will sell 70% of them and I hold the remaining.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Waiting 180$, after buy, target 400-500$ on: January 04, 2018, 11:34:37 AM
Or buy now 50%, and at 180$ other 50%!!!

Litecoin will increase to 1000$ by the end of the year. Litecoin is not my favourite but it will have a 4x times growth this year.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stellar. Caliph for an hour or a long time top-10? on: January 04, 2018, 11:29:29 AM
Stellar. Caliph for an hour or a long time top-10?

XLMUSD has tripled it's price since the beginning of the week and now competes with NEM for the 6-7 place among the biggest cryptocurrencies in terms of capitalization (at the moment XLM's capitalization is $ 16 billion)
How long will such a take-off, that attracted attention to Stellar, last?
The next few days will show.
Usually, if the take-off is short-term, then the rollback begins immediately after the increase of the price by 3-5 times. And that rollback is strong.
Time will show.
In the meantime, we can say that the level of support according to the graph is $ 0.30.
Also, in case of a correction, the support can be provided by the slow moving average, today it is at about $ 0.50
If a deep rollback won't happen within the next 2-3 days, it will display the strength of a growth and the possibility of its continuation.
Buy between $ 0.30 and $ 0.50

Yes stellar is on steroids. Stellar is a good coin. But there are not more projects on it but it is growing and is at top 7 which is strange.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling Altcoins to Etherium or Bitcoin for trading on: January 04, 2018, 11:25:45 AM
Hi - I'm new to cryptocurrency trading and need advice whether to trade on ETH/ALT(Crypto) or BTC/ALT(Crypto) currency pairs.

I understand the whole market is tied to Satoshi/BTC ratio and not fiat currency (expt Tether) and this is where I was making BIG mistakes when trading i.e sometimes keeping the BTC or ETH was far more valuable than converting to an Alt coin in the first place.

ETH seems more stable, my concern being that when I sell the crypto into either BTC or ETH then the value of the BTC/ETH changes and if I dont quickly buy something else then any profit diminishes. What do most people use ?

What is the ideal "store" for profit in these markets since you cannot convert to fiat currency without the hurdles of transfer costs ?

Trade with btc pairs. There are more coins with this pairs. So more chance for trading. ETH is good too. They too have more pairs on some good exchanges like Binance and etherdelta.
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poloniex trading signal FREE on: January 04, 2018, 11:22:22 AM
I have joined the group but these people started collecting money for VIP group. Once they said they will keep it for free but they have not.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: January 04, 2018, 11:10:46 AM
I am keen to know how to find which coin is going to get pumped next and when.
Is it possible to know for sure?has anyone here predicted accurately about next pump?

We cannot be predicted those pumps and dumps. If you mean those pump by the pumping groups then they are unpredictable and are not profitable. If you ask about the organic pump then it may be associated with some big news.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this the time to buy Bitcoin on: January 04, 2018, 10:49:37 AM
It is the better time to buy  Bitcoin. Bitcoin is at its cheapest price for this year as it will continue to grow to 50000$ to 60000$ by the end of this year.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Issues with etherdelta ? on: January 04, 2018, 10:45:56 AM
Etherdelta is good if you take some precautions like using metamask and opening the correct website. Some people just shout at them but Etherdelta is a decentralized exchange which I like the most.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: January 04, 2018, 10:42:11 AM
What is the best coin to buy today?  So many good coins.. sometimes I have hard time thinking what's the best coin to buy.

If you ask me today then its WRC as it is going to be listed on OKEX today. So there will be big pump for it and we can cash it. Also the coin has good future for long term.It is also good for long term hold.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: January 04, 2018, 10:39:00 AM
I am keen to know how to find which coin is going to get pumped next and when.
Is it possible to know for sure?has anyone here predicted accurately about next pump?

No such predictions but just we can assume if they can pump when the coin will be listed on any exchange sooner. There will be pump and after listing also there will be big pump. Like today WRC is going to be listed on OKEX, So it will be pumped.
