You need for people to trust you before we buy from you. Why should we trust you?
If you don't trust me, PM a senior user who does escrow. That's why I mentioned it Wink

All Noobs,
Since we can't post in the regular marketplace forum, lets start our own! I have browsed the forums and there are plenty of members offering free escrow services. Or if everything seems okay and we are  comfortable enough with each other we can do transactions without escrow. Either way we can sell goods and don't have to wait to be white listed. So what do you have for sale, or what do you want to buy?

To start off I have a PCGS MS 63 1954 S silver quarter. If you would prefer escrow you can buy it from my listing on bitmit. Or I can just sell it on here w/a slight discount for no escrow. I plan to use this site to sell my coins/bullion, and you can check my profile (username: coinsandbullion) on BitMit to see my positive feedback. But, I understand I am new and am fine with escrow.

I would suggest reading up on the trust system.  The above link goes to the announcement topic from the Meta section.

I'm going to leave this thread unlocked for newbies to ask questions and help each other understand.  Useless replies and off-topic remarks will be deleted.

Edit - This is a useless reply:

+1 for trust
Credit to theymos I guess...this new addition is a good idea. I always thought it'd be cool if this site somehow integrated bitcoin-OTC but I think this is better. Bitcoin OTC-while encompassing all bitcoin transactions (not just ones on this site) is far too confusing for the average user (probably why not many people are on there). This system seems very user-friendly.

If it was marked low priority and it has been only a few hours I'm sure you are fine. Was it for a small amount? Did you pay a fee? Often you can opt to pay miners a small fee. You'd be surprised how far .0005 goes! Sorry you have to wait, but it's normal. I had to wait 8 hours (I went to bed, woke up, transaction still had not gone through all confirms.) Good luck!

I think those are just guidelines. Have you posted a request in the whitelist thread?

Can I please be white listed out of here? I already made a transaction through the newbie section. I have been a seller on bitmit for a while now. I'd like to list some coins and bullion in the marketplace.
Thanks

I am "coinsandbullion" on bitmit.net
I am doing a deal with "notserp". I am sending him 3 coins and shipping for $80 in bitcoins. This is to make the transaction public.
