OK. Another unconcealed advertisement from which it is not clear why we should invest in this project. In addition to allegations about the success of the project - there is no evidence of this.

I can surely understand, reading is difficult.

They are my allegations, aka opinion.

Appreciate you taking a moment to give your view JinMi.

I've stopped investing in ICO's over the past few month as I feel the waters of the pond are become rather murky.
So many ICO's now rely on fancy websites, prolific social media marketing, discussion forum manipulation and questionable "advisors".  This is the first raw and unsalted offering I've seen in quite some time which seems to stack up under it's own weight.
I'll do some more research before investing later this week however I'm yet too find any noteworthy red flags.

Cheers
NFI.

Hey NFI.  This isn't an ICO.  Cardano is currently #18 on CMC and has been out since the beginning of October '17.  It is a very stolid project, based in science and research.  The only true Gen. 3 blockchain that I can see as of now.

I'm of the opinion that the vast majority of crypto users and hodlers are looking to make money in this space. So to this end, I, like I'm sure many of you do research as the time allows and sift through the massive amount of projects going on and where to place your investment. Whether it's a privacy coin, or has mass market adoption aspects or maybe even that the project provides some sort of needed utility in the cryptosphere even if the coin doesn't prove to be needed.

My findings come to this. Cardano is looking to achieve what most of them are under one project. Through IOHK, Cardano and Emurgo, the problems of scaling, interoperability, data, efficient mining, financing, crowd funding and use and marketing (I'm sure I'm missing some here) all fall under this umbrella.

The caveat? "If realized." Very fair argument. Looking at the teams and watching the videos, reading the documentation provides much of the faith one would require to make a sound investment.

I put money into this space every week. I can't justify putting it on much of any other project besides Cardano and am now happy to say that I'm a 10k ADA hodler! Told you I was a plebe!

Bottom line. Should Cardano achieve what it is setting out to do and from what I've seen so far, this project will be wildly successful. Whether or not that will also be wildly profitable? I can't say, but I can say that investing and organic growth is of the highest confidence.

Thanks for reading.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Serious Questions Regarding Electroneum on: November 12, 2017, 07:53:57 AM
I looked at your topic history and i see this..

Thanks to overwhelming demand, the Electroneum Token Sale has closed early!

Thank you all for your Electroneum purchases. We have raised the hard cap goal of $40m US dollars.

If you missed out on buying Electroneum, don't panic! As soon as our blockchain goes live (November 1st 2017) we will be applying to a number of crypto exchanges, to get Electroneum listed as fast as we can.

Once we get Electroneum listed on one or more exchange(s) you will be able to make purchases from the existing holders of Electroneum.

Electroneum Ltd will not be selling Electroneum directly ever again!

Don't forget! You will be able to join in and MINE some Electroneum coins using your mobile or desktop PC. We'll be emailing details and posting links to the software closer to the launch date.

Thanks again for your support,

Richard Ells
Electroneum Ltd (Founder).

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Serious Questions Regarding Electroneum on: November 12, 2017, 03:05:41 AM
Full disclosure:  My tinfoil hat is strong, double-weaved even!  While some of my beliefs may not be widely shared, the common consensus is that things are rarely what the seem on the outside.  To that, I've a few questions involving the ICO and rollout and subsequent fiasco currently happening with Electroneum.

*Is it common for an exchange to adopt a coin upon initial release of the blockchain where they reside?
*I understand that developers coins are locked in for a years time.  Does this also prohibit them from mining or selling mining profits from pools that they host?
*40 M is one hell of a payday.  Enough to hire a security expert or two.  Even still, why would security not be a big concern to one of the largest ICO's in history?
*Can a blockchain be locked once live?  Given the fact that they apparently had security issues, why wouldn't the chain be locked, again only if able?

Also, I'm not bitter even though I have a bag locked up in the ICO, I've also mined up around 1000 coins but am hodling anyway.

The reddit thread is fairly heavily moderated and questions like these don't get posted and of course nothing through social media will make its way through if even hinting at the negative.

So, what does this community think on the matter?

If you're curious about what a third generation blockchain looks like, have a look at the Cardano Project and its coin ADA.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum now valued at 11 cents?? on: November 02, 2017, 10:21:45 AM
Perhaps.

I'm wondering how that will work out given the increase in difficulty.  I know it's a mining 'experience' but they still give an estimated hashrate based on device.

For instance, according to what I'm seeing, I've been mining around 900h/s for 18 hours and have acquired 70 coins.  If the metrics available are to be trusted.  Compared to 24 hours ago where I was getting about 100 per hour.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum now valued at 11 cents?? on: November 02, 2017, 10:11:40 AM
Yes, correct.  However the vast majority of coins are not yet in the market.  The ICO wallets are still locked.

Also, mining has already gotten exponentially harder.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin can go to $100 next year? on: October 23, 2017, 09:27:50 AM
What I 'want' to go to $100+ is ADA.  Great team with cutting edge design and a really good market rollout.

However, realistically, Monero and maybe Neo.

ada has a Total Supply of 31 billions.  With 100 dolloar he had a greater marketcap than bitcoin Smiley

Indeed. Very highly doubtful.  However lots of new blood and money is coming into the market.  Don't underestimate the power of exponential growth. =D

Will MEW still work for airdrop #3?  Also, is this open to forum newbies?

Yes, you can use your MEW address for participating in the airdrop 3.

Don't know what will be the rules for the airdrop 3.

Thanks, I appreciate you answering.

Buy Eth.  Wait for the BTC drop, capitalize, then profit!

Well, that's what I would do but I'm a newb <<<<<<<

Thanks, still new to how airdrops work.

Probably a huge sell off at the start and then a slow slough to .25 USD where it will hang is my prediction
Forecast is when your conclusions are based on facts have a logical explanation. Otherwise you just making a serious suggestion. I can say that this coin will be worth $ 1,000,000. One of us is right? Maybe you are a supporter of other coins but this does not mean that all other coins are shit.

I do not see a suggestion listed in my post.  What I do see is a prediction based on my analysis and opinion.   Also, if I think it will be worth .25 cents and you think it will be worth 1M, the possibility exists that could both be wrong.

I did not claim any coin is shit.

I am little familiar with ICOs and invested just in a couple of these, but now I want to play serious and invest bunch of BTCs in somewhere.
But I want to invest in gaming projects (unfortunately, I only understand things in Game Industry.)
What do you propose, do you have some interesting projects to offer, guys?
https://beyond-the-void.net/
https://decentraland.org/

Two that I know of. not ICO's however.

I have a what may be a very newbie question.

With each coin mined, does that increase, or decrease the value of the coin?  To my knowledge there doesn't yet exist a coin where they are all mined?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: October 18, 2017, 10:53:47 PM
I've said it before, but I think Electroneum will hit Ripple prices.  After the product launch, I would look for a teaming up with a better set of devs as this team is lacking in that area.  However their marketing skills are bar-none top of the game..obviously.
