If we look at the bitcoin history bitcoin have shown a miracle which enhances it's use and it's value among the users so i think that soon we will see a miracle which will change the market value again and we will have a good and stable currency in the near future.
Bitcoin already gives us miracle since it has a value. Who expect that it exceeded the value of dollars, it can be called already a miracle. We must continue to believe that this technology will be able to gives us better profit if we just continue to support the technology. I do not expect an increase in prices until bitcoin halving. The market has entered a barren cycle and still has the potential to fall.
Just require some movement and if it picks up we are all set for the bull run to happen which can happen soon in this year itself and all the coins which have a good demand will rise naturally and quickly as well . So stay invested and buy more coins . The year is almost over and still we don't see any progress about some bull run. Bear and bull markets are cyclical. I think the easiest options in a bear market are one of the following:
- get off and remain in fiat in order to minimize the loss
- don't panic sell and hold until the next bull cycle.

It's basically easy to understand about how the market behaves, but the problem is the pressure. Some people can't handle it and some would only lead to worst scenario. Do no fully trust the system for now because it has to be undergone acceptance from all over the world. Mind you to invest on it if it is already being regulated like the stock market exchange. For now, the system is on 50/50, it may be good or it may be bad depending on the government because whether we like it or not the government will take actions for a new system and if this is not being approved for sure it will be declare as illegal, scam and etc. and no one will going to like the system.
Cryptocurrencies is still in period of development lokee their regulations and security. This however, caused the system to be volatile and I think when it comes to obtaining profits, there are lots of ways to do it. Bitcoin price can be manipulated by big investors. Some people spread rumor, fake news to dump the market by loosing people's hope and lead them to sell in panic. One person can't be manipulated but few can do this. It is possible.
It can be possible if they have so many holdings like thousands of BTC. As a basic rules of stock, supply and demand could be the major factor that need to be to consider. |

2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto enthusiasts. Though there's an increase in adoption of blockchain technology but almost all crypto assets have lost close to 90% of their all time high and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. In some weeks now, we will say goodbye to 2018 and the hope of market recovery will now cling to 2019. Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.
For 2019, do not expect significant changes if BTC still has problems with regulations. Actually this is what is becoming a fundamental problem at this time. If this problem is completed sooner, BTC will return to its original path, possibly requiring 2 years or more to recover I think this issue hasn't been able to resolve from the time it was created and this isn't probably the major factor that affects its value. On the other side, 2019 could probably some sort of hope that we could expect. |

I don't have any problem with bitcoin price falling, It matters when all other crypto tokens also show download movement beside bitcoin. continuous downward movement can barrier for upcoming good project in blockchain industry. Other harmful impact can be that people would have negative perception towards crypto and deal with it like bubble without considering its potential....
People have different perspective when it comes to cryptocurrencies, opinions havs been divided which it creates an issue that could affect the behavior of coins. What is good is that it always shows a positive trend after some dip moment, maybe not in this year but probably next year. |

If you want to enter and buy bitcoin, maybe now is the right time. That's because prices have gone down very far, don't wait for prices to fall again because if at any time prices go up you will lose the opportunity. It's better to immediately buy later if the price drops again to buy again. I am sure that next year prices will recover and continue to rise.

It's still unpredictable if you bought on they other day it's $120 for ETH and now it's $83...how about tomorrow? $70?? This is almost impossible. In the coming year, the price of Ethereum will be under $100. This way it can eliminate a lot of worthless coins, so I don't think it is a bad thing. Ethereum will take years to recover.

Imagine having one bitcoin. You sell that bitcoin at the current price(around 3800 USD). Bitcoin crashes again somewhere around Christmass and the price goes down to 1K USD. You buy 3.8 bitcoins with the dollars you got from the previous sale and you HODL. In 2019-2020 bitcoin recovers to 10K USD (or maybe reaches 20K ATH). You have made atleast 38K USD.  I know it's not guaranteed to happen,but hey,this is the Speculation forum,so why not speculate about this. I think that this is every crypto whale's trading plan for the next 2 years. It's definitely the basic idea buy now when the price is low. We know already rhe the power of BTC and many are becoming unexpectedly to be millionaire due to this kind of business. What is required about this is that we should have a strong emotions to hold such pressure when timea get rough. |

If crypto does gain massive adoption and you are able to pay for things in crypto, there would be less of a reason for people to cash out into fiat. How would government collect taxes from crypto gains then? Also, if something like ETH becomes big, how is the government gonna stop people from making pyramids, ponzis, and scams in general?
Government can make regulation to collect taxes from bitcoin trading. Every trade we made in market will put taxes by government. I think Ethereum is not a ponzi scheme because its already recognize as digital asset in several country I definitely agree, about Eth is not a Ponzi scheme because they are already been established and proved to be so much useful especially in ICO's. Furthermore, crypto adoption is getting more interesting because some countries are already using the services and hopefully in the future, we can witnessed a broad and wide adoption. |
