ok UPDATE....last attempt was 4-5 hours ago....added nodes to DarkCrave.conf  same results

this is important for me more to learn what im doing wrong then because I HAVE to have DCC...it's just becoming a source of frustration because other wallets sync fine...it's only these newer DPOS ones with Masternodes that wont sync correctly...

This is one of the more interesting hardware based wallet solutions I've seen, looking forward to seeing where else they can take this platform as far as development wise

13  Economy / Digital goods / Re: CoinDice 3.6 released! Start your own dice site today. on: February 07, 2015, 11:32:33 PM
I like the concept of crypto gaming sites being available to everyone to develop...but honestly...I have all three...the dice, the wheel and the Blackjack version....none of which were able to be installed...our former lead Dev was able to get the wheel and dice game operational after about 3 weeks...Im not faulting the design team per se but I think one thing that needs to be addressed for the entire "DIY gaming site" industry is having to rely on bitcoind instances running on shared/hosted servers...not all of us are running a private VPS server...as I said...we bought a copy of all 3 games...which now sit idle on a flash drive while we figure out a fix for the "Cannot connect to Wallet" issue
Maybe a possible upgrade would be a simple install script to get a instance of bitcoind running...Understand not all of us are "Devs" or Sysadmin's who know this backwards and forwards...so making it easier for the total N00b in the room other then that I think the software is workable....

is this needing a mazacoind instance running on the server? or can it connect to a separate wallet away from the server?

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Navajo Coin Foundation *NAVAJO FUND* on: July 16, 2014, 06:25:05 AM
As the Founder of Mazacoin I must caution against using the Dine (Navajo) name like this...When we started Mazacoin I contacted out Treaty Chiefs Council and got their support which we STILL have...because we did this the right way...I'm Cheyenne/Lakota by blood so Im free to use our words as long as it's done for the good of the people...Im not against new coins or trying to shoot down your idea...but trying to capitalize off of the history of the Code Talkers could backfire in a bad way...Mazacoin still remains today the first and ONLY Sovereign coin for a independent tribal nation...my suggestion would be to return to your original name of Summer Coin and focus on marketing

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Mazacoin Behind the scene truths no ones considering on: May 21, 2014, 07:21:23 PM

Recently the following post was made in regards to the upcoming fix for Mazacoin

"The Mazacoin people are like a kid that says he's going to clean his room.  He really wants to, sincerely starts but gets distracted by his Buzz Lightyear toy and you find him killing imaginary aliens in a pile of Legos 2 hours later.  I'll be believe them when they start using the word "done" and not "will be done", etc.  They had a chance a month or so ago to make a great coin and screwed it up royally just by kind of wandering away from the project.  This is worse than a scam, they just kind of stopped caring or got bored or something.  The same thing happened to Juggalocoin, another one that could have been up there on Coinmarketcap until the dev just faded out.  Again, no obvious scam, he just found something else to do instead of hanging around to get rich (or at least make enough cash to buy some nice toys)."

Here are some fundamental facts people are not taking into consideration....

Up until now most all of the DEV work, marketing work, PR, and everything else has been handled by myself and AP...I brought in a person to help with the BTC_Oyate twitter account and the Kimitsu asset management website this Volunteer Locked both the website and the twitter account  hence the reason the BTC_Oyate twitter has been silent. I just recently got the Kimitsu Asset Management site back under my control.

AP has locked out changes to the mazacoin.org site and the mazacoin twitter and the poster has a good point about AP wandering off to other projects...but also Mazacoin is open source so anyone is free to develop app's websites, block explorers, POS systems, ETC.  AP did his part in starting this but the community needs to come together and help with support development.

"Payu's been MIA"
No I haven't, Unlike many other coin dev teams, I spend most of my days out in the community talking with people, explaining how mazacoin works, helping people set up wallets, trading accounts, walking them through basic mzc transfers and trades...many of these people have ZERO experience with any crypto currency. Im also responsible for doing interviews, meeting with Tribal Leaders, Casino executives, Economic development directors, Chiefs, etc so about 14 hours a day is spent working on Mazacoin promotion and marketing in a hands on way  so in no way am I "Wandering off" on Mazacoin. Im the one that got MZC on Lora Hubbel's radar and got her interested in learning more about the positive elements of Cryptocurrencies. I recently Brought in James Roundstone  to help with PR and Consumer relations

Attacks on MZC
Mazacoin has suffered several attacks almost from day one...from a scam trading site liquidating client MZC holdings, to several internet trolls spreading rumors regarding Mazacoin being the legitimate currency of the Lakota nation. Then the mazacoin.org site suffered a social engineering hit which caused it to be suspended for a couple days.
People complained that we had no public statement from any tribal leader stating support for Mazacoin...but as soon as a video where Lakota leader Alex White Plume came out showing his support it was immediately attacked. The MZC water challenge video was Mocked after it came out.  what people dont understand is alot of the marketing and promotion we're doing is aimed at the Native american community...the water challenge was one of these...the concept started in our community as a way to show support for protecting water. But again the trolls struck, I do want to say I appreciate all the supporters that stay true to mzc and are right there with us.

Plans for the future....

We have several upcoming plans for mazacoin...including a food stall for pow wow season which will accept MZC, More on Crypto Talk radio program as well as On Blast and more programming, Upoming MazacoinTV video channel, Developing Kimitsu Asset Management into a primary trading house for Mazacoin and other crypto products. Several other tribes hae expressed a interest in Mazacoin and are looking forward to working with them to develop mazacoin into their existing tribal economic development strategy
these and several other ideas are currently on the table for Mazacoins future.

Stay Tuned....

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major Project set to test bitcoins true strengths on Sovereign Tribal Nation on: April 18, 2014, 04:42:59 PM

The Mazacoin project developed initially as a side project of the BTC Oyate initiative in order to develop a truly sovereign crypto currency it has since had it's ups and downs...with all the FUD going around about Mazacoin's price drop...Im happy it did...because this gives us a chance to build up Mazacoins true price and make it to something more stable. Mazacoin was not meant to be a Speculators coin...it was meant to be a daily usage coin.
We'll get through this and thrive...

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BTC Oyate Initiative Project Update on: December 26, 2013, 07:50:29 PM
Ok well time for a Update...the phase 1 mining aspect has been funded thanks to donations of some older Mining gear as well as a tech gift commitment from Visionman-btc.com. we're still planning to grow that part of the project but I wanted to thank everyone for their input and begin focusing on the phase 2 part of the project. Exchanges, and Services So Now I'll ask this...what types of services do you guys think would be good for the community..not just the tech savvy community...but the average person just getting into bitcoin....any thoughts?

Ok well in response to the question of speaking with tribal governing bodies,  I have already had meetings with our He Sapa Oyate Council and they gave me the go ahead as long it will help the community.  I know several elders there that are excited about t he program and looking forward to it's development. As far as the Mining aspect we Do have some donated gear coming in which people are looking forward to seeing the basics of how things start out. Alot of people mentioned just buying BTC instead of mining...the problem with that is unemployment still hovers around 83.5% average  income is around $7,000 a year...people struggle to get the basics....where would they get the income to buy BTC for training purposes?  not trying to be a smart ass...just saying. Thats the main purpose for the Mining element...is to generate enough to A:) Show the Viability of a major tribal Mining cluster and B:) to generate enough BTC for young people to train on with exchange trading that they can learn effective trading strategies. The Commercial Businesses can accept it pretty easy so thats a no brainer but it's getting our people started in learning how the tech works and how to use it...without keeping it on a HD and later finding out you just dumped $6.7M in the landfill...LOL
