1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: February 10, 2021, 08:42:00 AM
Can I control memory clock and core clocks from the bat files...? I m using rx580 armor oc edition..

Yes, here is what I use on my RX570 8gb MSI Armor cards using Phoenix Miner
-cclock 1170 -mclock 2170 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850

Newbie question.

I am using Phoenix Miner and ethermine dot org, with GTX 1660 Super and MSI Afterburn.

After I overclock on MSI Afterburn and clicked 'apply'. Do I have to quit the miner, change the content in .bat file and then reopen the miner program again for it to take effect?

Or does it just mine at Overclocked setting instantly after applying the changes in MSI Afterburner?

The reason I am asking is that my MH/s is still the same as before

Changes on afterburner should take effect immediately after you hit the check button!

But if the hashrate (MH/s) is still the same after applying the changes on MSI Afterburner.

What could be the problem?

Does the lightning roulette only pay 29x on a number if the lightning doesn't strike (100x, 150x etc..)?

@Mrwinson93 To address issues regarding money laundering we are unable to allow players to deposit and withdraw without using their balance, so you will need to play through your balance at least once to be able to withdraw. We have a 'How to deposit' article on the Cloudbet Blog which might give additional information: https://cbet.ly/2sYqTtD

What you are saying is, if I deposit 1 BTC into my account, as long as I bet at least once (whatever the amount, let it be 0.1 BTC), I am eligible to withdraw my full BTC amount.

But that is not the case for me, I am told that I can only request a withdrawal once I have played through 100% of my balance. That's mean I would have to wager all 1 BTC that I have deposited before I can withdraw them all.

Hi there, I bet on a soccer match between France and Australia and I chose France and I won. I bet 0.6 MBT and I supposed to get 0.76 MBT. In the bet history it shows that I have won, but the winning amount isn't reflected in my balance. ID : 218316452 Thanks

Edited : case resolved!
One hour later the balance is reflected.

Just found out about this cloudbet site when I wanted to bet on FIFA world cup. I have a question.

For some reason when I want to withdraw it says 'You can request a withdrawal once you have played through 100% of your balance.'

Does that mean I have to bet all I have only then I can withdraw?

They will not pay it out anyways.

damn. So there is no way we can get back our bitcoin once we have deposited.

10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question regarding hardware wallet (Ledger Nano S) on: November 30, 2017, 09:54:08 AM
Regarding my 2nd question, if I send all my BTC balance to the address in my Ledger Nano S with a new seed. Then my electrum would have 0 BTC in it. So I import my electrum seed to other BCG and BCD compatible wallet, then I would still see those fork coins right even I have 0 BTC on that electrum seed?
Yes. You probably have 3 balances in your Electrum wallet:

X Bitcoins
X Bitcoin Gold
X Bitcoin Cash

And I say "probably" because this is only true if you had Bitcoins before both forks.

- If you had 1 Bitcoin while the Bitcoin Gold fork, you now have 1 Bitcoin Gold;
- If you had 1 Bitcoin while the Bitcoin Cash fork, you now have 1 Bitcoin Cash.

When you send all your Bitcoin balance to a new wallet, the remaining coins will stay there. They are all different coins.

Thanks. This has cleared up my confusion Smiley

Last question, should I set up a Segwit or Legacy address? Or it doesn't matter?

1) My question is, let's say I have 1 BTC in my Ledger Nano S, and I plan to sell 0.2 BTC on exchange. So I send 0.2 BTC to say, Coinbase. Where will the remaining 0.8 BTC go? Will it stay in the same existing address in hardware wallet or will it store in another address in hardware wallet?
The remaining 0.8BTC will be sent back to you.

2) I am currently using electrum mobile wallet to store my bitcoin. If I send all bitcoin from Electrum  to my address in Ledger Nano S, will I see Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond in my Ledger Nano wallet?
No. You would only send Bitcoins. To be able to recover and spend the other fork coins, you would need to import your Electrum wallet in a Bitcoin Gold/Bitcoin Diamond compatible wallet.

13  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Question about Changelly (converting BTC to Altcoin) on: November 22, 2017, 05:06:33 PM
I just send BTC from my electrum wallet to Changelly so that I can convert to altcoins 8 hours ago, but I set my transaction fee to low (5 satoshi per byte), it is still zero confirmation as at right now.

What i want to know is, as long as there is one or two confirmation (doesn't matter how long), I will receive my altcoins, right? Or is there a window of payment?

Will they return me my BTC if somehow after 72 hours they still don't receive my BTC or something
Yes just wait your transaction to get confirmed and you should receive your altcoin. Estimated time for fees with 1-10 sat/byte will take 3-100 blocks. If your bitcoin transaction is still not confirmed within a day or more because of transaction overload there's a chance that your bitcoin transaction could get rejected and your coins will go back to your electrum wallet.

And also do you happen to know that, the exchange rate used is the moment I sent from my electrum wallet (8 hours ago) or when they receive it (1 confirmation)?

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Mobile app wallet for altcoins? on: November 18, 2017, 04:40:43 AM
Is there any mobile app wallet that can fit most or all altcoins? The best I have seen so far is Coinomi for android, which has many altcoins but still it doesn't have the altcoins I want like Neo, Monero, Lisk, IOTA, OmiseGO etc..

So do I have to download a seperate wallet just to keep the altcoin that I want?

I would prefer mobile wallet over desktop wallet as I trust mobile more
18  Economy / Exchanges / Does Changelly accept 0 confirmation? on: November 16, 2017, 11:15:03 AM
Planning to convert BTC to altcoins for the first time.

If i were to send BTC to changelly, but I set my transaction fee very low (example : 0.00001 btc), so in order to get 1 confirmation I might have to wait 2 or 3 hours.

So my question is, do changelly process 0 confirmation? or will they wait for at least 1 confirmation before I can get my altcoins?

Planning to convert BTC to altcoins for the first time. Have been hearing good things about Changelly and Shapeshift. Which one do you guys prefer?

If i were to send BTC to changelly/shapeshift, but i set my transaction fee very low, maybe after 1 or 2 hours only get 1 confirmation, is it accepted by changelly or shapeshift? Or 0 confirmation is enough for them?
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe not to pay miners fee? on: November 15, 2017, 08:30:28 AM
your btc won't be delivered unless you pay a fee. 0.0028 btc is too much but your transaction will be returned after some time if you don't pay a fee.

Is sending only 0.00001 btc enough instead of the dynamic fee of 0.0028 btc?

This really depends on the memory pool, when it is/ would be almost empty, you could get a confirm within 1-3 days.

Unfortunately for you, it is currently absurdly high, there's a backlog of over 200k transactions i believe. See https://blockchain.info/charts/mempool-size?

You could try it, but i doubt it that your TX will get confirmed.

I just tried that and it took me only 17 minutes to get 1 confirmation! I basically only pay 0.0000444 btc (around $USD 0.30). I guess because the address sends to 4 different address at the same time, so other people pay more in mining fees.
