6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN or ETHEREUM? on: December 16, 2017, 07:44:08 PM
Hi,
I feel bitcoin is too expensive to invest in atm, i was close to buying 5BTC back in September but thought it was expensive then (what a mistake)

I know it could still rise a lot more but with what i have available to invest, isn't gonna be life changing for me.

So I'm looking to invest and hodl altcoins and a lot of people seem to have faith in ETH even though the network had had problems recently.

Anyone think it still has good potential to rise a lot?

For long term investments, btc all the way.
If your looking to make profit in short, likely icos whcih are 2 to 3 months investments may have a very good ROI if you know were to invest.

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

I think it depends on the usage given by the holder if its gambling or not, if you run horse races with your bitcoins of course its gambling, likely what you do with the FIAT.

Hi

::)New to the crypto world. which wallet do you recommend for beginners? this for both bitcoins and altcoins? how many wallets should you have to have for tradings?  Huh Huh

For altcoins and tokens I recommend my ethereum wallet, for bitcoins hardware walles (these have a cost) but is the safest way to hold your coins.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to Buy bitcoins from ? on: December 16, 2017, 06:56:16 PM
Hello ,

So I'm new here in this forums, I spent alot of days searching for sites to buy bitcoin/etherum from but unfortunately I failed I live in Qatar and The top sites like coinbase aren't working here I found coinmama,bitcoin.com,changelly but when i searched i found alot of reviews saying they were a scam and shit.
So if anyone got a good site(TRUSTED) where i can buy from I will really appreciate it

PS:I  Found another solution which is to use forex websites and use them to buy btc from it likes etoro and xm

I want to hear your opinions asap!

Thanks

Try bitstamp.net , the exchanger is one of the majors around and I never heard a complaint about, Im sure the provide services for Qatar.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: December 16, 2017, 05:12:46 PM
We are now experiencing the efficient, fast and amazing convergence of technologies which one way or the other greatly contributing to the rise of the cryptocurrencies and making Bitcoin as the King of the Hill so far.

Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?

I don think bitcoin will last 20 more years in a fact is just a matter quantum computers are completly developed.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: December 16, 2017, 03:40:29 PM
For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

It does matter in terms of money, in terms of bitcoins is always known as more you hold the betterment end.
People is planning to hold for long term.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i buy btc now or sell? on: December 16, 2017, 02:34:30 PM
hallo guys, i am new to trading btc. and days before the bitcoin gold fork, i was advice to sell my btc (which i did) because it was suspected to drop in price few days to come. But surprisingly, from then till this very moment, btc has been on a continuous rise. now btc is at $7000+ and we are getting close to the next fork in mid-nov. DO YOU GUYS ADVICE I BUY BACK BTC AT THIS CURRENT PRICE OR WAIT for a possible drop in price?

Hope you'd keept the bitcoins, with it's current price you'd like made a 250% profit in less than 2 months.

18  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTB Crypto related websites on: December 16, 2017, 01:03:08 AM
I have a Stratis-related domain I could sell you for .004 BTC...but it's literally empty and has nothing going for it.

But it would make a good web wallet of sorts.

I don't really want anything to do with stratis sorry

what about top notch domain names ?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin replace gold? on: December 16, 2017, 01:00:34 AM
Nah neither bitcoin will replace gold or the other way around.
20  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: December 16, 2017, 12:52:56 AM
Do you think governments are afraid legalizing bitcoin because it's difficult regulating its use, circulation, determining individual's worth, earnings and may lead to tax evasion?

BTC is legal unless goverments create laws against them, for me is this way how it works.
