1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 Cryptocurrency Mistakes as a Beginner on: December 29, 2017, 02:22:38 AM
The #3 is completely true.

I would add active buying and selling to the list of mistakes. Over 90% of novice traders lose their money.

Well you need to lose to learn, I believe 90% of good traders began losing some money. I'm feeling like a beginner now that I read this.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions in cellphones on: December 29, 2017, 02:17:52 AM
In my country they are running an e-cash campaign, however is similar to purchasing a voucher and using it through an application that validates payments via QR code. Transactions using BTC via QR code exist (bitpay), however point of sales and other type of commercial software is still not that well developed and distributed. I believe the cost of operating and testing with real Bitcoin is kind of prohibitive at this point.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to browse the internet and run suspect software safely? on: December 29, 2017, 02:14:54 AM
Sandboxie is free and super easy. Has the same properties than a virtual machine but you can sandbox specific applications. If you want to create a complete environment and run insecure software then a virtual machine is the best option.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Investment on: December 29, 2017, 02:06:08 AM
Ripple and SIA may be the choice of value when talking about long term investment. Behind them are projects which can get really massive if adopted by the audience these are meant to. You did a good coin selection, if you really believe in the projects invest and hold.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: December 29, 2017, 02:03:29 AM
For me is a way to do business completely on my own without the intervention of the government and any other institution in the world. I don't need permissions, staff, equipment or infrastructure, just a bit of my time.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite manga? on: December 29, 2017, 01:57:44 AM
I love Naruto Shippuden, even though is really simple and very commercial Masashi Kishimoto is a freaking genius. I'll begin with Boruto shortly, even though I know it won't be even close.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: December 29, 2017, 01:44:35 AM
Bitcoin is a currency for what people invested their 'money'. Is an asset which can be used for investment and purchases of goods and services, it is indeed 'money' however is not linked to any nationality or regulated by any bank, regardless of that it is a mean of value and you can acquire stuff you want through it so yes, in my opinion it is money.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [LYM] Lympo - Monetizing sports and health data via blockchain on: December 29, 2017, 01:06:01 AM
How do you plan safeguarding the protected health information? There are protocols specially designed for this data transmission, how you leverage this in to your project?

Hey pikecara! This is a very good question. We believe that security is key for our users and therefore we believe we got one of the best security experts we could find as our advisor: Hainan Hu, formerly Zalando and Sound Cloud, now Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures: https://www.linkedin.com/in/hainan/. One of the data storage solutions we are looking at are HIPPA compliant AWS services. The other solution is developed by the former company of our advisor Dr. David Manset, Gnubila: https://www.fedehr.com/. Now, both FedEHR and HIPPA compliant AWS services are meant to be protecting electronic medical records. The information Lympo will be working with, the data from health and sports tracking apps, is not qualified to be as sensitive as medical health records, but we still prefer to use one of these solutions to make sure that in the future our users could store their medical records as well.

Thanks for the reply, the fact you making replys transparent and understandable for people who ain't familiar with this particular technology.

12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: December 29, 2017, 12:52:07 AM
What do you think is the biggest problem of your country.

As per my thinking in my country Pakistan energy crisis and VIP culture is the biggest problem. If you are from my country then what do you think is the biggest problem and how can be overcome or remove this from our society.

What are necessary steps that one should take to eradicate the problems of their country.

Poverty as seems to be the most common problem around the world.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: December 29, 2017, 12:44:43 AM
Bitcoin is so expensive if it will be converted to my country's currency it will cost hundred of thousands.
Why bitcoin worth that much even its only a cryptocurrency can someone give me an idea.

Supply and demand is the most normal factor that makes the bitcoin price to flow.

Sounds like a smart dude, are we 100% sure somebody isn't whispering in his ear? Regardless props I wish my trading game can get skilled like that one day Cool.

Is obvious to be a marketing move for the whales group to congest the market and earn by pump dumping.
