I have small kids too. I built 4 3 card rigs and put them around the house. For the last 2 I used this small and light case: Fractal Design Core 2300 Black Compact ATX Midtower Computer Case and use only the fans that come with it, they are very quiet.

I remove the drive holder assembly and use the screw hole to hang one gpu vertically and connect with a riser, the other two cards are on the MB, the side cover just fits over the card that hangs. I use MSI Armor RX 580 8GB cards. the temps on one are:
74C
62C
73C

The other is:
73C
63C
71C

I have another with a bigger Fractal case with 3 MSI Gaming RX 580 8GB which has better temp:
64C
55C
58C

For comparison I have an open air 7 card rig in my office with MSI Armor RX 580 8GB cards and the temps are
58C
49C
58C
56C
59C
59C
60C

well if you put anything else (like worker name) beside your address, then it won't work, cause it's looking for a 42 char long string.
Not really. It does work with worker name for me. It copies first 42 characters. Most likely it doesnt work because you using different protocol (check your "esm" option) or different pool. I might add other protocols / pools if someone really needs it. If something doesnt work feel free to download Test Log DLL (find in this thread) run it for few hours and private message me nodevfeeLog.txt.

It is working, allpools option was in place. pebkac

Thank you.

well ihave been using it for couple of hours now,
"x" miner is not showing up.

Shocked

Not working for me either
Do not see after "DevFee: ETH: Stratum - connecting" should be "eth_submitLogin -> YOUR_WALLET" https://i.imgur.com/ndEvwwS.png, See regular devfee messages
And on ethermine new "default" worker does not appear

dual mining eth+dcr

Kudos to author though

I have a problem. I have a 6x rig with Sapphire Pulse RX580 8GB, using Win10 and the mining driver. GPU0 have 30,5 MH/s and the other 5 cards run at 28 MH/s. I using a start.bat, wich executed (with the highest privileges) by the task planer from win10. It works with 780W from the wall. Why does GPU0 run faster than the others?

Could it be that the clocks differ on the other cards, and the 1 GPU hits your config.

Quote
I tried to start the start.bat manually via remote desktop and run as an administrator and get all cards at 30,5 MH/s. Clocks are always the same, but the power consumption raise up to 980W from the wall (-cvddc and -mvddc doesnt work).

What can i do?

it is imperative in Claymore that the more hashrate the more power consumption occur. so I guess this is normal

if it starts automatically at startup:
Clocks are all the same. CPU Core Clock 1130, GPU Memory Clock 2150, cpu and mem voltages are 850mv on all cards (GPU-Z) | 780W from wall
GPU0 29.990 Mh/s, GPU1 27.928 Mh/s, GPU2 27.911 Mh/s, GPU3 27.916 Mh/s, GPU4 27.930 Mh/s, GPU5 27.975 Mh/s

if i start the bat file manually via remote:
clocks are the same: 1130 core, 2150 mem but voltage now differ GPU0 830mv, GPU1 850mv, GPU2 970mv, GPU3 930mv, GPU4 930mv, GPU5 970mv | 900W from wall and cant adjust the voltage via afterburner (i can choose -70mv but GPU-Z show me no change)
GPU0 29.979 Mh/s, GPU1 30.067 Mh/s, GPU2 30.007 Mh/s, GPU3 30.055 Mh/s, GPU4 30.004 Mh/s, GPU5 30.021 Mh/s

I have seen this when using Remote Desktop, It doesn't happen using Team Viewer.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8 card limit on Windows is Removed! on: October 22, 2017, 09:17:24 PM
I only have 7 580's so I can't say if 8 card limit on Windows is Removed but I installed 1709 and the drivers dropped the cards dropped to 24MH. Some things I found:
- Using Autologin my start button and action center do not work
- Task manager now shows GPU stats on the perf tab, all 7 GPUs are there which is neat
- I had to DDU a few times to get block chain drivers to stick, Windows kept auto installing even when set not to, I finally set with GPO, not sure it that was needed but it is working now
- I cannot shut down the computer anymore even with power button, it just bounces back to logon screen, restart works fine

Has been completely stable mining 24 hours now
