1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you recover from your loss in bitcoin investment? on: July 17, 2018, 05:25:03 PM
The answer is simple: I didn't recover Smiley Most of the people wouldn't.
I'm now waiting with some anxiety for the market to reverse. It has become a matter of life and death...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COL] Color Platform: Colorful dApp Store! Think Color! on: July 17, 2018, 05:23:34 PM
Are there new colored airdrop planned? I like the concept.
By the way, why is this thread so much spammed by newbies with useless messages?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre ICO] Eroiy- The payment method of the adult industry. Anonymous & safe on: May 22, 2018, 06:33:32 PM
Received an email a while ago from that I should send an email containing my nem address to wallet@eroiy.io in order to receive my tokens. Did so 3 weeks ago and still got nothing. Anyone got their's yet?

... me the same... SCAM!!!

To be honest, looked scammy from the very beginning. Glad to only have little money in it

Luckily I didn't put any money, put I've put a bit of time - now wasted.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]🔥OKO — blockchain VR platform for anonymous 18+ content distribution on: April 24, 2018, 05:31:01 PM
The title is eye-catching
The idea is good
But what if porn content is restricted somewhere??

Are you joking? We live in a pornographic world. Porn is the present and even more porn is the future.

How long will the ICO run? I see you plan to visit sex fairs, planning to sell tokens there as well?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will ultimately lose its attractiveness? on: February 13, 2018, 03:13:00 PM
Just read a news today about Jordan Belfort is claiming the cryptocurrency will ultimately lose its attractiveness.

Mr Belfort, whose Stratton Oakmont firm made millions using a ‘pump and dump’ operation before he was found guilty of fraud and crimes in connection with stock market manipulation, previously claimed that the cryptocurrency is adopting a similar scheme.
You may read the full story here: https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/918001/Bitcoin-price-news-latest-value-update-cryptocurrency-BTC-USD-crypto-crash-video

What are your opinions with this matter?

Well, Belfort is absolutely right concerning this aspect of ‘pump and dump’  schemes in the crypto world being now the biggest attractor if the sector. This being the case, he could be right also on his other assumption.

I have no experience with NEM tokens, can we inspect the smart contract like you can with ERC20 that use the Ethereum blockchain?

Hi cryptowhatnow,
We believe though it is very complex we prefer the NEM blockchain over the ERC20.

ok, but can we inspect the smart contract somewhere, is it made public for instance on github?

They are not Smart contracts on NEM, they are called smart assets and are available.

This is an aspect I totally ignore. Would be nice if there would be a few paragraphs in the OP introducing the basics of this mechanics, without someone having to read the whole WP to get an idea.

This is truly the hottest ICO of the year, if you understand what I mean Wink I'd be really curious to know if there are some known pornstars who will invest in this ICO.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 01:06:00 PM
People get captured by Bitcoin because of their grasp on the tech involved - women are statistically less interested in tech.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: January 13, 2018, 12:21:51 PM
Well, sometimes you need to have a form of money that the man in the shop selling you food will accept - and this usually is not Bitcoin Smiley
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinQuality - Airdrop 7000000 coins on: December 30, 2017, 10:30:41 PM
The name of this coin is a bit surreal, and there are not so many explanations of what the hell it is...
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: December 30, 2017, 10:22:12 PM
I have been looking at this coin for a long while, and unfortunatelly I didn't buy any yet. I've heard that the wallet has some problems though, and someone has lost their coins,  is that true?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 30, 2017, 10:13:30 PM
How do you actually claim this coin if you own BTC? Possibly without losing one owns Bitcoins Wink
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY BITCOIN CASH NOW on: December 18, 2017, 12:17:58 PM
I HAVE GOT INSIDE INFORMATION THAT 'BITCOIN CASH' IS BEING ADDED TO COINBASE. This means it will shoot up in price so buy before it gets added

BUY BUY BUY!!!!! TIME TO MAKE MONEY!!!

This is a not a troll, Thank me later.

CURRENTLY AT $1,860.30 12/18/2017

Only with Bitcoin Cash do you see crazy marketing spiels like this. FYI, it has already been confirmed that coinbase will be adding bitcoin cash and this has already been priced in. Bottom line is, nobody really wants bitcoin cash because of it's founders and creators who only seem to be in this for the profits. Bitcoin cash is like a centralized version of bitcoin and until that changes, people will stay away. Don't get burned by BCH.

This is a quite convincing vision on the whole situation. Too dangerous toy to play with, with a huge capitalization that could vanish rapidly.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do during a panic attack? on: December 04, 2017, 11:23:08 PM
It is a real mess, happened to me once or twice. In this case I take diazepam, but not too much, ask a doctor. And don't take it in other cases because it is addictive.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Game of thrones on: November 19, 2017, 09:10:08 AM
The latest season is NOT based upon the book since the book is not ready yet, and as a result there are many inconsistencies in the story, like the fact that Daneyris can fly with the dragon so fast (in a few hours) over the whole continent, which makes no sense.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Religion slowly dying? on: November 19, 2017, 09:01:28 AM
I think that, as people are faced less with death and illness, they turn away from religion. Today many happily live until a very old age. There is just less need for the kind of comfort that religion provides us with.
Religion is not slowly, but quickly dies. I think that it is for this reason that in recent years more and more we see the hidden advertising of religion. The more educated people are the less they believe in fairy tales.

Religion is not dying. The focus of religion is simply changing.

In the past, religion was focused on God. Now it is focused on the science fiction made up by people. Here is what I mean.

Science theory is theory because it does not have enough evidence to prove that it is fact. Consider Big Bang Theory. It is not known to be fact, and it probably will never be known to be fact. Yet look at how many people around the world talk like they believe it is fact, based on some probability calculations, that are not known to be correct. Looks like science is becoming a religion.

Cool

I agree 100%, but people tend to disregard this concept EXACTLY because of their religious approach to science. The irony is that the more you are unaware to have a religious feeling, the more you paradoxically are religious, ie the more your being religious is effective in shutting down your critical thought.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do to calm down you're anger? on: November 19, 2017, 08:49:10 AM
I have noticed that to have a session of wild sex can pretty much calm down anyone. If you have nobody around to help you with that you can still manage to do that alone, and it would still calm you down.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Online Dating on: November 06, 2017, 09:27:31 PM
I've read that statistics say that most of dating is happening online nowadays. Occasionally it happened to me too I must say.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Mind Reading Possible? on: November 06, 2017, 09:16:36 PM
You have not to confuse mind reading with moderate telepathy. Mind reading is presumptuous and unrealistic, moderate telepathy which allows you to get in tune with someone's else spirit, that's possible for talented people.
