1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins become worthless? on: January 03, 2018, 08:20:01 AM
Bitcoin is a method of payment and a digital currency that was launched in 2009. It has been described as “cash for the internet” and the price of all bitcoins in circulation currently amounts to USD 1.5 billion. One of its key features is its decentralized structure that prevents regulation of the currency by a central authority or bank. It is this aspect of Bitcoin that is trumpeted by Utopian libertarians who see it as the embryo of capitalism without regulation or control, a dream that is already being scuppered by the realities of the modern world.

Others see Bitcoin simply as an opportunity to get rich quick and then get out before the bubble bursts, and in that sense Bitcoin paints a microcosmic picture of the nightmarish short-termism and irresponsibility that is the hallmark of capitalism in decline. It is hardly surprising that such a phenomenon should take off in the midst of a global crisis of capitalism.

According to some, the technology pioneered by Bitcoin and other so-called crypto-currencies is potentially game-changing when it comes to online transactions, with as much potential for a revolution in payment processing as Napster was able to achieve with music downloads. However, what is already becoming clear is that this technology can never be used to its full potential under capitalism: to really unleash the power of technology in all fields, not least in online transactions, we require a socialist plan of investment in technology and a plan for the use of technology to develop the economy in the interests of need and not profit.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: January 02, 2018, 03:20:46 PM
There are several reasons it cannot be possible but let me mention few, real money is very essential in a society where internet is poor and level of illiteracy is high. Another reason why crypto currency cannot make real money disappear is because banks and government will not have access over tyeccontrol of how we spend and keep money. No tax, no charges so they will put laws that will not be friendly to cryto currency
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Rise again in January? on: January 02, 2018, 03:03:37 PM
I see bitcoin rising gradually in January. Many want to buy bitcoin for investment purpose, so when demand is high the Price too will spring up.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: January 02, 2018, 02:56:03 PM
Yes I strongly believe in God and his existence. So far those who claim there is no God has nor been able to us the force beging the sun and moon that determine the nature of of the world.  Behind every creature there is unseen force or maybe called supreme being.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If we were all inmortal would religion die? on: January 02, 2018, 03:55:16 AM
The reason why we are mortal today is because we're still alive on earth, the day you die you become immortal and religions ends that day a man dies. There is no religious activities in heaven it only exist on earth.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: January 02, 2018, 03:34:46 AM
Bitcoin is more secure than most existing financial services, including legacy banking platforms like SWIFT, which has been compromised repeatedly by hackers.
But all of this speaks only to the technical security of bitcoin. Its financial security is another matter
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Make Money in Crypto on: January 02, 2018, 03:02:08 AM
Good day as I am new to the crypto world What is really the way to make $ in in crypto ? such as Bitcoin or other coins?

I understand as i have some invested. in my wallets the values go up and down, so you can cash out or sell when value up?

do you just buy and sell currency as the markets move up and down? or what other ways to make $ with crypto?
do you transfer bitcoin over to other websites etc?

or what should i be focusing on? thanks

just like to know what all the experts do?

Other ways you can earn money on a crypto currency though deep knowledge or training before venturing in it are trading, mining and bounty of the company or carrying campaigns. In addition you can study the market just like FOREX trading buy when the price down and when its high.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saved my year on: January 02, 2018, 02:50:45 AM
I started 2017 broke and with a very low wage. My girlfriend also broke up with me in the beginning of the year.
Although I had committed some trade mistakes I was able to get 400% gains, thanks to btc.  This gave me hope and made my year a lot better.
I wonder how many people bitcoin "saved" this year, even preventing some suicides maybe.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: December 30, 2017, 01:40:03 PM
Leading adult site Porn.com has started accepting bitcoin payments.

The site is one of the biggest adult entertainment operations on the Internet, if you don’t count illegal torrent sites. Porn.com currently accepts traditional credit card payments, PayPal and online cheques, along with bitcoin of course.

Bitcoin payments on adult sites are nothing uncommon, but Porn.com is by far the biggest service to embrace bitcoin. Most adult sites that accept bitcoin are tiny and easily dwarfed by Porn.com, as it is effectively an umbrella for heaps of smaller porn sites. The advantages of using bitcoin to pay for adult content are more or less obvious. People are not too keen to share their credit card data with small adult websites and they have perfectly good reasons aside from anonymity.

Although the word 'reputable' does not really apply to most adult sites, it is worth note that adult content is huge on the Internet. According to recent studies, adult content accounts for as much as 30% of total internet bandwidth. Adult websites attract more than 450 million unique visitors each month. Unsurprisingly men lead the way, but an estimated 30% of women also enjoy Internet porn.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: December 30, 2017, 05:51:54 AM
Bitcoins is the most popular today because it came into existence when at the verge of Economic and Financial Collapse of US Market. At the time when Lehman Brothers collapsed and took away investors’ sleep at night, an Inventor, Software Developer, Legend Satoshi Nakamoto (Pseudo Name) published a paper called Bitcoin for peer to peer payment.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: December 29, 2017, 09:04:07 PM
Solid money will take a long while to disappear, but it seems feasible enough (like everything else that has been rejected by elder generations but accepted by youth growing into a new world). Digital currencies won't replace paper money anytime soon, says Bank of Japan official.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not Money, is Faith on: December 28, 2017, 10:44:13 PM
Bitcoin is monwy and not faith because, though you may faith but you can't spend it but you can spend bitcoin.Faith is something you can not see but believe it exist, faith is something you can not control but controls you and faith is a spiritual thing. We can see and monitor bitcoin as it rows on our screen. Therefore I disagree that bitcoin is not money but faith.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you smoke weed? on: December 28, 2017, 10:34:44 PM

I don't smoke at all, apart from the damage it courses to the kidney and body system generally smoke is not moral I dislike it. People now smoke weed openly in this part of Africa even some of the law enforcement officers are not helping because they also smoke at different joint with street boys.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: December 28, 2017, 09:58:58 PM
Bitcoin has the potential to reduce unemployment. Unfortunately so far no real Bitcoin based economy has been developed that would actually give people some true and lasting business opportunities.

Bitcoin alone can't reduce unemployment but using it for payment can make some work more accessible for people, which could have such an effect.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Been Scammed? on: December 28, 2017, 09:52:23 PM
Yes have been scammed before. Victims of scams don't always report when they've been conned because they feel embarrassed for having fallen for a scam.

If you have just fallen for a scam, you shouldn't feel embarrassed. It can happen to anyone. Scammers are constantly refining their scams to make them as effective as possible. They know what works and what doesn't.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: December 28, 2017, 08:11:46 PM
Am from Nigeria. Corruption and poverty are the biggest problem in Nigeria and the only solution is for the youth to rise up to responsibility. The past leaders are still the current leaders .
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 28, 2017, 07:59:33 PM
Why sell off your properties to invest in bitcoin. You should borrow money from bank or friends to invest than to sell your house for bitcoin. There several way you can get money to invest in bitcoin such as airdrops, bitcointalk campaign and signatures, all you need is to start with small amount
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: call for ICO and cryptocurrency Training in Nigeria on: December 28, 2017, 07:38:45 PM
That is a good idea. You may not need to wait for foreign aid before you can organise such seminar, you fan start by bringing few of friends  together, doing webinar live training and Facebook live  training. There are lot of organisation doing the sensitization already on radio, TV and news paper on CryptoFortune currency and how they can invest in bitcoin and earn profit monthly. So you can do something  different.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2017, 08:37:42 AM
How many idiots who decided to invest in bitcoin!!!!!!!

It is necessary not to watch as he grows from 15000 to 17000. This is a visual illusion.
And as it grows from 1.5 to 1.7.....

In recent days printed 180 million tether and still no big growth....
Lending on the stock exchange came to a billion dollars.
The credit rate on the day was a record and more than the 0.103%.

This means that the market has reached its peak. The price of cryptocurrency maximum.
This is the moment when you have to sell everything.

So began a process of growth needs the infusion of more money.... They're gone.

I think the joy of endless growth to an end this weekend.

Nothing in this world is eternal and permanent.....
And rising prices of bitcoin are not eternal.... all ends already.....

I love this quote "Nothing in this world is eternal and permanent. And rising prices of bitcoin are not eternal" nevertheless, people have invested in bitcoin coin when the price was minimal are not foolish. Even people that invested along the line has nothing to loose if they sell off the investment today. Bitcoin may have gotten to its peak but I tell you it can down to ridiculous level again inasmuch other coins are still being traded with it.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: December 28, 2017, 07:50:41 AM
There is charges in using credit cards/ATM in my country and their is a cashless policy that guides you on the the volume of money you can carry as individual. But its better to have some cash at hand than having bitcoin because of emergency. When there is emergency you will need internet connection and your device fully charged before you can spend your bitcoin.
