What I'm really interested in knowing is how you plan on protecting your alt coin gains especially as we seem to agreed that btc would take the whole market down.
Stop losses are one way I guess although the pop will be so fast it will be a bloodbath and they might not help.
Maybe it's safer to day trade and close all positions before going to bed.
People are blinded at present and the insane daily growth is so unsustainable it's not even funny.

Imo wabi will be one of the biggest gainers in January unless btc pops and takes the whole market down.
I see it at $5 easily in the next month.

I have been investing in alts for a few months now. Happy days indeed.
Well let's be honest, anyone with cash and 1/2 a brain could have made 200-300% profit easily.
I don't hold btc and would not buy it as I think price above 8K is unrealistic and over inflated.
I have a bad feeling that btc is going to have a major correction in the coming months.
I'm not talking a small drop to 13k, more like all the way to 5k or even lower.
If and when this happens how do you think it will effect alt prices?
Unfortunately I see btc taking everything down with it and fear all my hard work and
day and swing trading alts to increase positions could be wiped out in days.
What are your opinions?
How are you protecting your gains?
Are you cashing out and waiting for buying opportunities or holding long term and perhaps
having stop losses in place to protect gains?

Deposit address generation suspended for 24 hours due to abuse.

What is an alternative exchange that's safe where I can day trade eth and preferably hold usd.

So I've been trying to generate an eth deposit address for over an hour 
The Bitfinex web page either hangs or gives me an error:
"The Ethereum watchonly daemon is restarting, please come back in a few minutes."
I tried generating deposit addresses for other coins to no avail.
At some stage I even got a "Deposit address creation disabled" message.
Is this below par performance usual for Bitfinex?

$32 is my buy level for Neo.
Perhaps too low but I don't want to get burnt.

I want to add more alts to my positions but the prices now are at all time highs.
Most of the coins I like have seen 300-1000% rise in last 5 weeks.
I'm looking for a decent correction to be tempted to buy.
What are your thought about good entry levels?

Or do you mean I can send euros to my current account and they won't get converted to gbp?

Is it possible to open an online euro account in the UK that allows incoming euro swift transfers and outgoing euro sepa transfers?

I am surprised Eth came out on top. I would have thought that it's already grown a lot, with less potential for high gains in 2018, but you have proved me wrong.

Litecoin, Ripple and Waves are in most folks picks so I will include them in my watch list.

It's important to note that a lot of these alts have seen 5-10x growth in the last month so we will have to look for opportunities to load up.
Buy low sell high, keep it simple  

Surprised I'm the only one with iota.
I know it went x10 in a month but I still think it will be huge in 2018.
I feel I've missed Eth good entry point and see better potential in smaller market cap coins.

New year is fast approaching.
