It has, I might have to get ahold of one of these to see how it runs. I would look for 64bit os support on these boards, i know the procs are capable of it, but the OPi community isn't as big as the RPi one, so support is a little more limited. 64 bit OS compatibility is important to get the max hashrate out of these boards.

Would be interesting if we could see what different SBC's the community has access to, so we could get some benchmarks written up. So we can see what gets best kh/s to the $£

I have one of this:  https://www.geekbuying.com/item/GeekBox-Open-Source-Cross-TV-BOX-Android-Ubuntu-Dual-Boot-4K-RK3368-Octa-Core-2G-16G-AC-WIFI-1000M-LAN-BT4-1-HDMI2-0-OTG-358067.html

Off course is expensive but the idea was replace a real "pi nas server" with more power and better specs, GB LAN the most.

At the moment with some infinity booting loop problems but in a few weeks i will be playing and flashing again with it to test compatibility to debian streetch 64 posted here, was running monero for some time before.
So i share with community the results later.

With this miner : https://github.com/magi-project/m-cpuminer-v2/releases

Hi s0litaire, can i ask about the cost of your pi3, how much electric bill per month, and how many coins it can mine per month? Cheesy

Thanks for the OS info!, my best pi 3 is also around 8 with raspbian i will test this new system.

Hi friends!

Exists some method to get the "estimated time to earn stalking"  ?

I mean, with the aproppiate magi.conf and magid started just run:   ./magid walletpassphrase PASSWORD 9999999 true
and in debug.log shows "ThreadRPCServer method=walletpassphrase"

After that, i understand already stalking how i can check with magid command the data showed in wallet GUI ?

Myweight
networkWeight
Estimated time to earn stake rewards

Thanks!

What's a good input size in order to stake daily?
Depends upon how much you want to earn staking amount is approx 3%

You can start backwards - to gain 1XMG per day staking you'd need

1/(0.03/365) = 12166

I think actual staking rate is something like 3.4%

EDIT: Does anybody know where to find the PoS rate?

That's nice info!

But do i need to have a threshold input size to stake or it doesn't matter?

For example, would it be the same 1 input of 12166 XMG or 1000 inputs of 12.166 or something in between, or what would be better?

I always like to keep my blocks of size 500-1000 I find its a good balance of weight, frequency and staking rewards

Its possible stalking only with Magid daemon, just in a linux ssh server?? I mean without GUI. If this is true how enable mpos minting without the wallet password??

Thanks for all the feedback starmman

Somebody is asking on the reddit if there are any magi faucets. Does anybody know if there are any working ones still around?

I think this is the only working, I always get "Your ip address found in one or more blacklist"  becouse my dynamic provider public ip ¬¬

The temp varies between 77ºC and 80ºC while mining. Is that risky?
Less than 80 is usually okay for a Pi - you are pushing it close to its limits - so might be worth getting a better heat sink or fan attached

Hi!

This are my Raspi with cooling system  Cool

The silver:  59.6'C and 8.37 khash/s , Raspberry pi 3 / arm_freq=1300,over_voltage=2
The golden: 41.2'C and 5.04 khash/s   , Raspberry pi 2 / arm_freq=1000,over_voltage=2

Without HDMI and leds to keep energy and overclocked.
