1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a bubble or just new money?? on: January 07, 2018, 10:37:25 PM
It goes in cycles. There should be a big drop. But at the same time is the world adapting quite fast to crypto so it's difficult to see how long the bull race lasts.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: January 07, 2018, 09:33:19 PM
No not really. Not without extencive research.

What you do in practice is sending money to someone hoping they will deliver, and hoping they are the ones they say they are.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A very very long term Hodling advice on: January 07, 2018, 08:27:26 PM
Ethereum has the best perspective
Do ethereum do updates?

They've already seen some congestion issues the last weeks. Something basically only bitcoin has seen before, and where bitcoin only was a pay plattform and has become more of a storage of value plattform, ethereum has a more advanced system, and will lose more on congestion. If ethereum loses its edge due to congestion and making it unusable for its originally intended purpose like bitcoin has, it won't have the advantage bitcoin has being the first and original.
As a storage-of-value bitcoin will be a real tough contender.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepONION ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault 🚀 Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 26/40 New Thread 🚀 on: January 07, 2018, 08:02:11 PM
Since there's two threads I'll post my questions in this one as well...

- Is this the forum thread you have to post 2 posts per week in to be in the air-drop? (If you're a Jr member or more that is)
- How much is it in each airdrop and how many get some, everyone participating? (Here https://deeponion.org/airdrop.html it says 3,2mill in the first 15 airdrops, and on the mainpage it says it's 550 airdrop partisipants, so the avarage airdrop per wallet/person is 5k onion?)
- How often is the airdrops, and when is the next air-drop?
- Is it airdrop 14 or 24? The topic here says 26/40. The topic in the other page says 24/40, and https://deeponion.org/airdrop.html says "14 successful airdrops".

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: January 07, 2018, 07:54:58 PM
ETH and Monero.
ETH has seen some congestion lately though which scares me a little.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash] on: January 07, 2018, 07:37:18 PM
Interesting. Confused about the fork of two chains into one. Will I get if I have BTC? And the same for ZCL?

Maybe I've missed the fork anyway to buy up zcl.....
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: January 07, 2018, 07:30:54 PM

12  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / App that can generate addresses from private key in bulk? on: November 05, 2017, 08:04:39 PM
I have trouble finding an app or site that can generate multiple addresses from multiple private key's.

They either generate only one at a time, or generate the private key as well.

Any tips?
13  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Will any wallet support segwit2x? on: November 03, 2017, 09:37:02 AM
Bitcoin Gold hadn't even launched a public "testnet" yet... Let alone a "mainnet"... So there isn't anything to claim: https://bitcoingold.org/replay-protection-development/

They have apparently implemented 2way replay protection though, so that's good... And it seems like they're going to release a fork of Electrum for BTG.

As for 2x, it seems like they're purposely NOT implementing 2way protection, so they don't become an altcoin, but are trying to become THE Bitcoin... The idea being that wallet and Bitcoin service providers don't need to update anything to with with 2X
Some want the segwit2x model some want the bitcoin model. I think there will be two currencies no matter what.
If bitcoin remain the largest segwit2x will still be there, no? Someone will add replay protection and continue on thei own fork.
If segwit2x will become the largest and they steal the name, the bitcoin followers will make some minor changes (add their own replay protection) and change name to Bitcoin Classic or something like that.

Yes i think it will the same as bitcoin cash like other said ..i am waiting for new announcement about this ..
Did you get your bitcoin gold? as of now there is no supported wallet  base on other people who posted here much better to check this site for more info for bitcoin gold https://bitcoingold.org/

And i heard other people said that you can also use coinomi that support bitcoin gold but i still didn't tested yet because the security of bitcoin gold is low base on what i heard so better to be careful and wait for real announcement..
No I haven't the BTC Gold, it seems you've needed to have it on some specific exchanges, and I didn't read about it until after the fork, but I wouldn't have moved my BTC to an exchange just for the promise of receiveing Gold anyway. I don't care much about the Gold, if they get stable and a serious currency, and I read others success-stories, I'll try to get my hands on mine. Until then I wait.

14  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Will any wallet support segwit2x? on: November 01, 2017, 02:03:20 PM
When the Bitcoin Cash fork happened and you had your bitcoin in electrum wallet all you hade to do was to download electrum cash and you could access your cash.

Any wallet that have stated they plan to do the same for segwit2x?

(Not interested in moving my BTC to an exchange that "say" they will support both)
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRW] CROWN (SHA256) | NEW UPDATE! | Experimental Commodity | Trons | on: October 31, 2017, 09:08:09 PM
Do the masternodes serve any technical function?
Or are they just there to create incitement to promote the currency?
