They should have seen that coming, users got more and more pissed off when there were no official statements to calm them down. This behavior should be a class example how not to deal with costumers. And now, when some over motivated users took action into their hands to finally get a reaction, the exchange reacts with whining like it was the userīs fault that they got attention from the hoster.
I expect them to solve the "minor db problems" which surface since days asap, so that users can withdraw their coins. I do not care a single second what follow ups the exchange might face, as long as it stays within legal boundaries. There is no single excuse for the lack of information from the exchange. You spoiled the whole situation yourselves for not reacting. Donīt blame the users.

Hi Guys,
I can log in and all screens are working again. All balances are there !!! Only no orders can be made and no withdraws. I think they are very near to completion but have orders and withdraws still disabled. Be prepared. It will not take long anymore before CoinsMarkets is back.
Good luck, reiniere.
Wrong, the database shows you, that the balances are there. Have you checked the wallets yourself ? And: As long as you do not have the private keys for that wallet, you are not secure.

7 days for a server move ? Seriously ? Then some explanations, that syncing the blockchain takes ages ? That is something that can be done easily offsite, then the chain gets moved to the wallet directories on the server. It would be no problem if this is some sort of website you use for your spare time, but NOT an exchange, where people have values on and are blocked from trading with their coins they have. People can lose money because of that, they are out of reach for the coins they own. Packed with an extremely bad communication towards the users. And you wonder why FUD spreads all across ?

I will try to help ETN as much as I can, only thing I can offer is testing Linux stuff on various distributions, besides being very positive about the realistic future. So no Lambo or moon, just a steadily growing, trustworthy Crypto is the goal. Slow but steady.

As my question was not answered in a support mail (several weeks ago) and not through personal message, I ask it here: I mined to the official ETN EU Pool early. The last payment of 77 ETNs though is stuck, as the TX does not show up as being valid. (Cant get tx).
2 questions: 1) are you aware of this problem ? 2) will this be fixed - in other words - will I get my payment somehow ?

Has anyone had luck using the electroneum linux wallet to actually see their balance? I've confirmed the blockchain transactions but for whatever reason can't see anything in the linux wallet. The blockchain is synched and everything.
Yes, mine works flawlessy. Compiled via make release-static.

Back in business!!
Thanks for all the help from the mods in getting this working again.
What exactly does this mean? The test results from the hackerone test have not yet been completed. This means that this thread has been locked for days. Its back up and running. No news from Hackerone is expected until they finish whitehat hacker testing around Dec 1st - 8th We may get an update on progress before then, and if we do, we will post it on all channels Thanks for clarifying. Is the mining taking place now legit or all the coins mined useless? The blockchain is live and mining works as it should. Mined coins can be traded at Cryptopia. Only the coins from Pre-Sale are not released yet due to security concerns. I wonder if we will still have our coins when the site comes back. Its been several weeks since most of us could look at our accounts. These coins are already in the blockchain, but not accessible by their respective owners. So they are already "physically" existent. As soon as hackerone will give it a thumbs up, they will ask the users to set a new password using their email Adress they have used for ICO purchase. So it is very important to change the passwords both for the main, as the backup email adress before resetting the password at my.electroneum.com. Even if you are sure that your email passwords are safe. Set new passwords for the main and backup address - this is crucial.

Yes please, dump all your coins, especially when the ICOs are availabe, as many as possible - so that I can buy again cheap. Go ahead

They paid out the pending coins from eupool.electroneum.com, even as it was not reaching the 100 coin margin Great Edit: Minimum payout has been lowered to 20ETN Yes, I have received my coins also. Would be nice if they released it earlier when the price was higher. The pool shows the payout, but the transaction hash does not exist nor have the coins reached my wallet

Hey Contraband, any word yet from the devs about the missing pool payments?
Ive let them know. Just dont hold your breath guys. If a pool doesnt work, use a different one. Thats the response they gave in the video. And dont shoot the messenger. Im just being honest on my take on it. Pools that I have seen broken in the past have never paid out coins later, because there is no coins because they were broken. If you watch the guy who took the video, he said the pool he was on wasnt giving him anything, so he changed pools. Like I said, Im waiting for a different response, because all of you that "kept mining at zero for DAYS", I feel really bad for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YRjX3A_8cMIt is not your fault, I know. But someone of the devs should have noticed, that there is something wrong and restart or shut down the server, instead of letting a lot of people, primarily new users, mine into /dev/null. I just cannot believe that this matter was not seen much earlier.

Need a few curious testers over here to catch some blocks and get withdrawals rolling: https://etn.suprnova.cc Don't move much over yet as I've got to test payments currently.. Directly to wallets were tested fine, Cryptopia needs to be tested with multiple users and then it should be fine. I am trying to give it a test using Linux-x64 (Ubuntu 16.04) - but I get a: JSON-RPC call failed: { "code": -1, "message": "invalid method" }
Hmm, with what miner ? Or.. How do you try to mine ? The miner suggested in the "Getting started guide". Tried both the binary one and compiled it also for my self: ./minerd --url=stratum+tcp://etn.suprnova.cc:8875 --userpass=username.workername:workerpassword

Yeah, I swear it was kH, but maybe it was just H. I've changed mining platforms, so we'll see how it goes.
If you are not mining with a huge amount of mining rigs, then it was certainly not 485 kH/s, but 485 H/s
